Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, October 8, 2019

Ms. Emelda…

Lord, I thank You for the Spirit of prayer that is on us today and for our church, our country, and especially here now for Minneapolis and St. Paul. We declare this scripture over the event that will take place Thursday in our city, that His Word would come forth.

(1) Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

(2) For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you.

(17) …[Instead of the tyranny of the present] I will appoint peace as your officers and righteousness as your taskmasters.

(18) Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders, but you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.

(19) The sun shall no more be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you, but the Lord shall be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory and your beauty.

(20) Your sun shall no more go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself, for the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.

(21) Your people also shall all be [uncompromisingly and consistently] righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified. Isaiah 60:1-2, 17b-21 (AMPC)

Pastor Ray…

Remember when Jesus appeared to Kenneth Hagin and was speaking to him. Then a little “imp” got in-between them and started jumping up and down and making a lot of noise. He couldn’t hear what Jesus was saying. He kept thinking “why doesn’t Jesus do something about it?” Until he got so upset, he took authority in Jesus’ name against that demonic whatever and it left immediately. Jesus was still speaking to him but Kenneth had questions about this.

The following excerpt was taken from The Believer’s Authority by Kenneth E. Hagin:

In dealing with the Devil Jesus replied, “Son there is a lot in there (in the Word) that you don’t know.”

Not one single time in the New Testament is the church ever told to pray that God the Father or Jesus would do anything against the Devil. In fact, to do so is to waste your time. The believer is told to do something about the Devil. The reason is because you have the authority to do it. The Church is not to pray to God the Father about the Devil; the Church is to exercise the authority that belongs to it.

The New Testament tells believers themselves to do something about the Devil. The least member of the Body of Christ has just as much power over the Devil as anyone else, and unless believers do something about the Devil, nothing will be done in a lot of areas.

We believe that certain people have power. No, Jesus said the least member of the Body of Christ has just as much power over the Devil as anyone else; and when we start believing that, that’s when we’re going to get the job done.

Jesus continued, “I’ve done all I’m going to do about the Devil until the angel comes down from heaven, takes the chain and binds him, and puts him into the bottomless pit [Rev. 20:1-3].”

That came as a real shock to me. “Now,” He said, “I’ll give you the four references that prove that. First of all, when I arose from the dead, I said, ‘All power [authority] is given unto me in heaven and in earth’ (Matt. 28:18). The word ‘power’ means ‘authority.’ But I immediately delegated my authority on earth to the Church, and I can work only through the Church, for I am the Head of the Church.” (Your head cannot exercise any authority anywhere except through your body.)

The second reference Jesus gave me was Mark 16:15-18:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Pastor Ray…

And there were some other signs that He gave him.

Signs, okay, I am just seeing that in a different light. Signs, I am going to give you some different signs that you have the authority. I just got a picture of signs. It doesn’t say “No Trespassing” or “Right Turn Here” or “Stop” or “Go.” It’s all Words spoken to us in the written Word, the Bible, speaking to us about our authority that we have here on this earth.

A sign, here is a sign for you. And it’s another scripture and another scripture. The New Testament is filled with words concerning our authority. So, that’s what we’re doing and I know you know that.

There are so many different things happening every day. But of course in Minneapolis, on Thursday the President and Vice President; a couple other members of President Trump’s family, they are spreading out around the cities. There is more than just the event at Target Center but what I read this morning (a reliable source) is there are already a hundred thousand tickets reserved.

There are a lot of things we could go through of course about our authority and why we would use our authority. Kenneth Hagin had said years ago that in the 60’s all of the turmoil, that spirit of rebellion would not have happened if the Church had been the Church and prayed. So, we get to do this. We have to do this. And it’s more important every day.

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff, and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies, and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; if he’s made wrong decisions, they can be turned around to Your perfect will and plans in Jesus’ name. Let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing.

Ms. Annie…

The Lord watches over the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked He turns upside-down .It’s coming to nothing because it’s upside-down!

Pastor Ray…

Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

Ms. Annie…

Roll a boulder up a hill to hurt somebody and it rolls back down on them. They dig a pit for someone to fall in and they fall into it. But the righteous go free because the Lord is fighting for His righteous causes, for truth, for justice, for righteousness to be preeminent in this nation and in this city and in this state. Jesus is Lord over Minnesota, Minneapolis, over St. Paul, over all the inhabitants thereof.

Declare freedom throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof, freedom from lying spirits, freedom from deception, freedom from every evil way, the freedom that comes through living and dwelling in the secret place of the Most High God under His righteous decrees. That freedom is throughout our state and our city and over God’s people and over those that are yet to become His people in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah.

Pastor Ray…

And we don’t take the care or the cares about how it will turn out. We give the cares to Jesus. We give those cares over. We cannot get under because we’ve been called up and over and we have a seat that we’ll take every day, a seat of authority.

(tongues) The city, the city, the city… Awakening, an awakening in Jesus’ name! No, we put an end to that in the name of Jesus— no, not death, not destruction of any kind in Jesus’ name.

Words, words, words, all of the right words now, words to speak, words of authority, believing in the Word, believing the Word, not just what we’ve heard somewhere but what You said, Your Word! Your Words!

Turn, turning things and changing things, thank You, Father. Steady, staying steady, staying steadfast and commanding and declaring, “This is the way it will be!” “This is how it will turn out!”

An end and a beginning (ha, ha, ha), yah! An end of the old and a beginning of the new! Ooooohhh! Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father. The old— and end to it, wrong plans, wrong ideas, lack, poverty, questions about how it will work or turn out. We put an end to the old things and we begin to look up heavenward and confess and declare the new.

Then new, by faith we do step into the new, by faith we do call those things that are not as though they were—by faith! Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father.

I am reminded of Sister Billye being here and what she declared concerning the times that we have stepped into, a new year on that calendar and a year where things change. So, we receive God’s ordained changes.

We take authority, we have the authority, we use the authority, we declare authority that we have against every plot, every plan that the enemy has tried to work and is trying to work against our nation. We declare by our authority from heaven, the authority given unto us “Stop!”

Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our military leaders, and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival, and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders, and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual, and devilish to depart and vanish until Your mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy, and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pastor Ray…

That’s what we’re looking for. We expect it. We expect that to be heard. It’s a sound of joy! It’s a sound of strength! It’s a sound of the goodness of God! It’s the glory of God! It’s the outpouring! It’s revivals breaking out everywhere—here, there, over there, down there, all around, state by state by state by state! What was declared over this state, Minnesota, it shall come to pass in Jesus’ name! Thank You, Father.

Ms. Annie led us singing in other tongues…

♪ It’s time for you to stand, yes we stand, we stand, we stand

We stand in Your blood, we stand in Your blood

We stand in You name, we stand in Your name and this land we claim

We claim it for You, we claim it for truth, we claim it for love

For righteousness that comes from above

We claim it by Your promises, not by works of righteousness we have done

Oh, but we claim it by Your promises through the blood of Your holy Son

Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord over this city, Jesus is Lord over our state, over all the people here, over every school, courthouse, farm, village, suburb; over every shopping mall, bike trail or stadium or stadium! Over every parking garage, police officer—hallelujah!

Oh, the weak things of God are stronger than the strongest things of the world and the foolish things of God oh, they are wiser, wiser, wiser, wiser than the wisdom of this world. So be strong and be wise in Me. And in your weakness, in your foolishness, I give you the victory! The victory!

The warring angels over our cities, commissioning the angels, we set you over the Target Stadium and all around, the angels, we thank You, Lord, for they are sent to the heirs of salvation.

We give You glory, praise, and honor for what You are doing right now ♪

Pastor Ray…

That one word in that confession where it says “confusion” the enemy is confused. We declare that over that whole day, the day before, and the day after—confusion to the enemy! Not knowing which way is up and which way is down and where to go! Hee, Haw, Hey, Ho—Confusion! Even in their minds, confusion. And there is some good things, good changes in our cities that will begin to take place because “Jesus is Lord over Minneapolis and St. Paul!” Whoooooo! Our cities! They belong to us, the people and there is more of us than there are of them! And even in Minnesota, people are beginning to wake up because we know there is one thing that will change America—revival and a great awakening!

Awakening to the things of God—ooooohhh! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Thank You! Thank You! Ooooohhhh! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Thank You, Lord. Oh, we rejoice in You, Lord. We rejoice in You! It’s a new sound, a sound of victory in taking back the things the Devil stolen or attempted to be stolen or lost or whatever! Entering into the victory days, thank You, Lord.

And finally in Minneapolis, especially there will be some changes where God already declared would come years and years and years ago. Prophets have declared it over this area and it shall come to pass and it is coming to pass and it’s a breakthrough into, and we call it “a new day!”

A new time, a new hour in Jesus’ name! Woooooo! And it’s not going to stop. It’s going to keep getting better and better and greater and greater until Jesus comes back. Hallelujah. Thank You for it Lord.

Ms. Annie led us singing He is Lord, He is Lord

Pastor Ray…

I can’t get this picture out away from me. It’s a picture of the cathedral in downtown Minneapolis. It’s time for them to get ready because the Spirit of God is about to break loose in that church! And what was planned at the very beginning shall begin to come forth and it will turn and change and that will be declared but we declare it today “Jesus is Lord over that cathedral.” Those places and positions of authority in there in Jesus’ name turning over their hearts, turning over their lives, miracles, signs, revival! That means an awakening to the things of God. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You, Lord. Hallelujah.

It’s all good. Everything is working out right in Jesus’ name. Amen.
