Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Dustin…

Well, good morning, everyone. My name is Dustin, the youth pastor here at Living Word. It’s an honor to pursue the Lord with you. We’re going to pray together.

Just want to remind you, we’re praying from a place of faith. We’re hopeful. We’re confident that God is able to watch over His Word to perform it in our lives. We’re praying from a place of victory.

Ephesians 1…

I’m going to read a couple of verses to you quickly. Ephesians 1:3 says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ. In accordance with His pleasure and will to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the one He loves. In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. And He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. In Him, we were also chosen having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will in order that we who were the first to hope in Christ may be for the praise of His glory.”

Verse 13…

“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, having believed you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession to the praise of His glory. For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you. Remembering you in my prayers. We keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you. The riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms. Far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in this present age, but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be the head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.”

Prayed…

So, Father, we thank you that we are seated with you in heavenly places. That every spiritual blessing has been given to us.
We are your ambassadors. We live and move and breathe in this earth empowered by your Spirit to accomplish your will and your plan and your purpose to build your kingdom.
Father, we pray that your will would be done here in Living Word. Your will would be done here in our lives. Your will would be done in our homes. Your will would be done in our cities. Your will would be done in our states. Your will would be done in our nations. Your will would be done here as in heaven, that the atmosphere of our homes, the atmosphere of our hearts, the atmospheres of this church and our state and our nation would be like the atmosphere of heaven.
So we’re going to yield to you. We’re going to cooperate with you. We’re going to be sensitive to your voice and promptings. We’re going to pray out what you tell us to pray out. We’re going to look for opportunities. We’re going to maximize opportunities.

Opportunity is coming…

That’s a word for somebody in here. The opportunity is coming. There’s something you’ve been praying for, there’s something that you’ve been believing for and maybe you’ve been waiting for the whole thing, like you’re sitting there and God’s just going to give you the thing. But I believe that He’s going to bring you the opportunity and it’s your responsibility to use the brain that He gave you, the wisdom that He gave you, the Spirit of God that He placed on the inside of you.
It’s your responsibility to put those things together, be led by Him, and to maximize the opportunity. So the opportunity is coming. And so we’re going to maximize opportunities.
Like the parable of the talents. There are opportunities that He entrusts to you. These are divinely appointed things. These are assignments that are entrusted to you. Will you be faithful with the opportunity? Will you be faithful with the opportunity or will you bury it? Will you hide it in fear?
No, no, no. We’re not going to be fearful people. We’re going to be faithful people. By His grace and by His power, we’re going to be people filled with faith, motivated by faith, compelled by faith. Compelled that God is faithful to His Word. We trust in Him, not just on an intellectual level, but in our hearts from a deep place. We trust in His ability to keep us, to protect us, to lead us, to guide us, to equip us, to strengthen us, to give us wisdom.
Our hope is in Him. Our confidence is in Him. Our trust is in Him. Our faith is in Him. So we’re not afraid of the terror of night. We’re not afraid of the arrows flying around. We’re not afraid of the pestilence.
He’s our refuge. He’s our strength. He’s our fortress. And so we just cooperate with Him. Our eyes are open and we’re sensitive to His voice, and we’re quick to listen and respond. We’re looking for opportunities, and we’re going to preach the gospel. We’re going to be light. We’re going to be salt. We’re going to look for people that need help.

We have the victory in Christ…

We’re not fearful and we’re not in a self-preservation mindset. No. We’re victorious in Him. We have the victory in Christ. We’re on the winning side. Jesus has already won. The Devil has already been defeated, and it’s our responsibility to be on the offensive and to build His kingdom, and to take ground and to occupy until the master returns. And so we’re not going to bury what we have. We’re going to maximize what’s been entrusted to us. We’re going to steward what He’s given us. Because we’re not hiding until it’s all over.
We have the authority by His power. We have His power. We have His grace. We have the Spirit of God on the inside of us.

Keep our hand on the plow…

So we’re looking for people that are lost. We’re looking for people that need healing. We’re looking for people that need help. So if you’ve switched over to a defensive position, if you are hunkered down and waiting for this thing to wrap up… No, I want to encourage you. We need to have our hand to the plow. We need to be faithful. We need to be bringing increase and multiplication to the kingdom of God. That’s His definition of faithfulness, multiplication, and increase.

So, Father, we thank you for the grace to increase. We thank you for the grace to multiply. We’re looking for opportunities. We’re looking for your hand. We’re looking for your faithfulness because we know that it’s there. We know that you’ve empowered us. You’ve given us grace and strength to do your will and your purpose in the earth. You help give us the desire.

So as you’re praying in the Spirit, don’t be surprised if God starts giving you pictures. Don’t be surprised if God starts reminding you of things. Don’t be surprised if you begin to see things that maybe you kind of put on the shelf or you just kind of put away, or maybe you gave up on. Don’t just get the word… get the strategy. Allow God to give you the strategy.

God gives you the strategy…

I love reading about God and the children of Israel because He wouldn’t just tell them, “You’re going to have the city of Jericho.” He’d give them the strategy for how they’re going to get the city of Jericho. And we can’t be too quick to get the word and then run off and try to put it together in our own strength with our own wisdom. No, He’ll give you the strategy too.

So we’re inclining our ear. We’re listening to your voice, to your leading, to your prompting. Because you’re speaking, you’re leading, you’re guiding, you’re helping us. And we’re going to by your grace…

If there’s any fear, if there’s any trepidation, if there’s anything that’s keeping you from moving forward and moving on that He’s worthy, that’s all you need. That’s all you need to know. He’s worthy of your obedience. He’s worthy of it.

Ephesians 3:16…

While we’re in Ephesians, let’s read 3:16. “May he grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man.” We pray this over every believer, over the people in this room, the people watching this online, every family connected to Living Word Christian Center. We pray out of the rich treasury of your glory that we would be strengthened, they would be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in their innermost being by the Holy Spirit Himself indwelling your inner most being and personality.

We’re strengthened by the Spirit of God…

We aren’t weak. We aren’t about to faint. We aren’t about to collapse. We’re strengthened by the Spirit of God Himself. May Christ through your faith actually dwell, settle down, abide and make His permanent home in your hearts. May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love that you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints, God’s devoted people, the experience of that love. What is the breadth, the length, the height, and the depth of it that you may really come to know practically through experience for yourself the love of Christ, which far surpasses knowledge without experience.

Prayed…

Father, we pray that we would know you on an experiential level. I pray that we would experience your love in greater ways than we have before.
Father, I pray that we would really come to know through experience the love that you have for us. I pray that that Living Word, that the state of Minnesota, Brooklyn Park, the United States… we pray this not just for ourselves, but for our brothers and sisters in Christ and for those who are far from you, Father. We pray that they would come to know practically through experience for themselves your love and your goodness.
