Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, May 19, 2020

Pastor Ray…

It’s Tuesday of the month of May and things are getting better. Right now! Hallelujah.

First of all, I want to welcome you all. Thank you so much for connecting with us. We are connecting with you.

Holy Spirit, we welcome Your presence this morning. It’s all You and none of us. We bow before You this morning, Father. We’re grateful and thankful so much today for what You’ve done, what you are doing, and what You are going to do.

Thank You so much for Your Word which is absolutely true. We in no way resist You or resist Your Words but know Your Word is true.

Thank You, Father. You are the same today as You were yesterday, and You will always be the same tomorrow. Thank You for that beautiful, wonderful presence, Holy Spirit, the anointing, the manifested presence. Thank You that we are not in it alone, not trying to overcome in our own strength. But You already overcame, Father, by the blood that Jesus shed.

Thank You that we have overcome because You overcame on the Cross. Hallelujah! And when You said it was finished, it was done. Thank You for what was done for us then and is working for us today. Hallelujah. We just humble ourselves, trust You in whatever it is that You want us to do. If you wanted us to just sit still and be quiet, that would be blessed. Whatever You want Lord, we give this hour up to You and we thank You for it in advance in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah.

In the book of Acts, a lot of good things were happening. We’ve been called to look like the book of Acts or do even greater things then Jesus did back then. You’ve heard this said: “the book of Acts was never finished.” So, it’s still being written and we’re written Epistles.

In Acts 16 after Paul and Salus were thrown into the prison, first of all, they were beaten.

(24) He, having received [so strict a] charge, put them into the inner prison (the dungeon) and fastened their feet in the stocks.

(25) But about midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the [other] prisoners were listening to them,

They were loud. They were not quiet about it. They were bold about it. They kept lifting up their voices in prayer, speaking to Him and singing songs of praise. You know there was a lot more going on in just in that one verse. It wasn’t just like we could read through it: bing, bang, boom. It was about midnight. They were singing, worshiping, praying unto God.

(26) Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone’s shackles were unfastened.

(27) When the jailer, startled out of his sleep, saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and was on the point of killing himself, because he supposed that the prisoners had escaped.

(28) But Paul shouted, Do not harm yourself, for we are all here!

(29) Then [the jailer] called for lights and rushed in, and trembling and terrified he fell down before Paul and Silas.

(30) And he brought them out [of the dungeon] and said, Men, what is it necessary for me to do that I may be saved?

We can’t take that lightly. He was so moved by what happened that he wanted to know how he could get saved.

(31) And they answered, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ [give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping] and you will be saved, [and this applies both to] you and your household as well.

(32) And they declared the Word of the Lord [the doctrine concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] to him and to all who were in his house.

(33) And he took them the same hour of the night and bathed [them because of their bloody] wounds, and he was baptized immediately and all [the members of] his [household].

(34) Then he took them up into his house and set food before them; and he leaped much for joy and exulted with all his family that he believed in God [accepting and joyously welcoming what He had made known through Christ]. Acts 16:24–34 (AMPC)

Because the two disciples were lifting up their voices in prayer and singing, suddenly things opened up! Let’s just take it for today. When we lift up our voices and declare what the Word has declared for us to declare, suddenly things are opening up and changing around.

Thank You, Father, for it! For supernatural turnarounds, open doors, new steps, new days, better days! We’re moving up! We’re moving out! We’re not bound by shackles! We’ve been set free! It’s through the blood that was shed on Calvary.

Oh, Thank You for the Cross. Thank You for what was done on that Cross, that is working for us today. Glory, hallelujah! The joy, the same joy that the jailer had, we have! We’re free! We’re not bound. We are not locked up and locked in. We’re free! And we’ve overcome through that precious holy blood.

We’re just declaring some suddenlies this morning, Hallelujah! Let’s just declare it over our country, every state! Suddenly a fresh turnaround! Suddenly an absolute new day! Suddenly! Ha! Ha! Hallelujah! It will make people jump up and down for joy! Glory! Glory! Glory! Glory! Glory!  Hallelujah!

Not just a little bit! A little bit is good but we want the whole lot! The whole load! State by state by state by state; the other day we read all fifty states. We lift them up this morning in Jesus’ name for fresh turnarounds, for a new turnaround where things suddenly… that virus is out and gone defeated in Jesus’ name.

We pray over businesses that have been locked down and shut up. We pray that they will be opened up and be made free! The economy is beginning to turn around and where is it going? Upward in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah! Thank You, Father. We see it. We believe it. We receive it on behalf of others in Jesus’ name. The churches will be filled again! Hallelujah! The buildings will be overflowing in the name of Jesus. There will be more than enough! Hallelujah! How will it work? We know You are working it out, Lord! Hallelujah!

New ideas, new ways, new restorations! Thank You, Father. Glory to God! Thank You, Jesus! Hallelujah! Whooo! No more shackles! Not bound up, locked up, locked in, in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Father.

Those things are the works of the enemy, whatever way he’s been trying to operate in these days. It’s not just all about the virus. There are many other evil plans the enemy has preplanned, but he is a defeated foe. Oooooh yeah! Ha! Ha! Ha! Thank You, Lord.

Ms. Annie led us singing Break Every Chain

Pastor Ray…

When our children were younger, we were driving a conversion van down highway 100 and it was dark around 8:30 or 9 at night. Our kids were in the back. I started to slow down to turn on 36th avenue. There was a restaurant there and a restaurant on the other side of 100 with ditches on each side and fences to keep dogs and people off the highway. As we were driving along, suddenly a lady appeared and before I knew it, her face was in my windshield. BAM! I ran into her. She flew maybe 20 to 25 feet in the air, landed on her face on the highway. We came to a stop and got out and went up to the woman. There was blood all over. And she’s not breathing. Out of our spirits came the name of Jesus. We knelt down to her while traffic was moving past us and people from the restaurant were watching. While on our knees, all we could say was “Jesus!” We didn’t pray any other prayer. We didn’t even know to pray another kind of prayer. All we knew was to speak forth His name. What seemed like an eternity, then suddenly she gasped for air. She started breathing again!

I thought of that when you were singing “Break every chain in Jesus’ name.” I believe that chain of death was broken off that lady right there on the highway that night.

We found a way of getting in the hospital even though we weren’t related. We did minister to her. My van was all banged up but she had no broken bones. She was bruised and sore but she was totally fine. I am saying that to say, just in the name of Jesus, there is power. Chains are broken in and through the name.

In all these weeks that have gone by, if you felt like you’ve been locked up or locked in, whatever the enemy tried to do and tried to come against, we could say, our world… We are in the United States so whatever he tried to do against us, these things are broken in and through the name above every other name, Jesus. Jesus is Lord over America! Every chain is broken, all chains.

Poverty, financial insufficiency, unemployment, brokenness in spirit, brokenness in believing, deception. Lies are bound. Strongholds of the enemy that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God are broken in the name of Jesus! In Jesus’ name. There is power in the name. There is authority in the name. There is healing in the name. Hallelujah! Ha, Ha, Hallelujah! Thank You for the name, Jesus!

The same authority that Jesus walked in on this earth, He gave us that authority. Thank You for the authority that has been given unto us. Today, we call things that are not as though they were in Jesus’ name. We don’t come… Father, thank You for the power that is in that name. We do not come in our own strength. We cannot in our own strength make things, change things, turn things in our own strength but in the name that is above every other name. Hallelujah.

Never, never, never, never to be the same—never, never, never, hallelujah! Oooooh! Glory to God! Hallelujah! We lift You up, Lord, we magnify Your name today! Jesus be magnified! Thank You!

Ms. Annie led us singing There Is Power in the Name of Jesus

Ms. Annie…

I just saw chains wrapped around all of the businesses, restaurants, hair salons. Every business that has been hurt by this lockdown, I see them bound with chains, and we take the name of Jesus “Bam!” every chain is broken! Suddenly! They have to leave today! Now in this moment! The name of Jesus breaks every chain that would try and hold down and suppress the truth in righteousness. But we speak the truth of Jesus’ name over our land. We plead the blood of Jesus over America, over this world, over this earth. Every chain of (tongues) every chain of lies and deceit and corruption and sickness and plagues, in the name of Jesus, we break those chains and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabits thereof in Jesus’ name!

Scripture focus…

The Breaker [the Messiah] will go up before them. They will break through, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head. Micah 2:13 (AMPC)

Pastor Ray…

He is our head and He is our Breaker! Ha! Ha! Ha! Hallelujah! Gory! Thank You, Lord.

Just imagine… A lot of people say this will be the “the new normal.” There is no “new normal” with people locked up. That is not the new normal! No.

We’re not going to even accept the “new normal” being what it really truly isn’t. That’s why we keep on declaring we are moving up and moving through and moving into the new and everything that was good and great, our economy, all the things that were good, they are turning around now and they are going to be even better. So, the economy is going up, stocks are going up!

Ms. Annie…

Employment is going up! All the people are busy with the industriousness, God’s creativity bringing increase, bringing blessing! That’s the new normal! Jesus is the new normal! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Righteousness and truth are the new normal! Justice and faithfulness are the new normal! The blessing of God is the new normal! Hallelujah! Peace and prosperity are the new normal! Jesus is Lord is the new normal!

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah! Hallelujahs ringing all across the land! For the joy of the Lord is moving throughout! The Church is rising on up and doing what we’ve been called unto to do. Hallelujah.

The following excerpt was taken from A Life Ablaze by Rick Renner:

Some scholars estimate there may be as many 30 songs recorded in Scripture that early New Testament believers sang!

Most New Testament hymns and songs are recorded in epistles written by the apostle Paul. He frequently quoted the lyrics to these songs in his epistles. I imagine that when Paul was writing a letter to a particular church, he must have thought to himself, How can I make this point clear to the people I’m writing to? Oh, I know, I’ll quote that song that they sing in their church. That will help them get my point! Then the apostle would add to his letter the lyrics of a well-known song that was sung in that church.

There are four indisputable examples of songs quoted by Paul that I want to share with you. The first is found in Ephesians 5:14, where Paul wrote, Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” This verse actually represents the words to a song that was apparently sung by the Ephesian believers and was well-known to them. When Paul inserted it into his epistle, it was familiar to the believers in Ephesus.

Ms. Annie…

I realized Paul back then didn’t have the New Testament to sing songs about because he hadn’t written most of it yet! He had the Old Testament and he could sing songs. He said sing to yourselves in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Well, what did the early believers have? They didn’t have the Book, the Bible, but they had the Holy Spirit. And Paul had the Holy Spirit. So, each of us every day, we can make psalms and hymns and spiritual songs as we go through our day, singing, making melody in our hearts to the Lord. And as we do that, the chains are broken. Amen. Hallelujah.

The second example I want to show you is found in Colossians 1:5–20, which is actually Paul quoting the lyrics to a song that must have been known to the church in Colossae. This is indisputably hymnic literature. In these amazing verses, Paul quoted the words to a well-known song. Exalting the supremacy of Christ, Paul wrote of Him:

Who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

These verses, which are considered by many scholars to be the most important scriptures establishing the supremacy and deity of Christ, were lyrics to a song sung in church in the First Century!

Or how about the famous words attributed to the apostle Paul in Philippians 2:9,10? In these important verses, Paul incorporated the lyrics to a familiar song that believers sang, which described Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross and His exaltation. The words to this ancient song are found in these verses: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of the things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.

The fourth example of a New Testament song is found in Second Timothy 2:11-13. These verses also represent hymnic literature, for it’s in these that Paul quoted a familiar song to remind believers of the commitment that Christ requires of those who follow Him. It says:

For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: if we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us; if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Look at the powerful words of that song! These verses reveal that early believers were not just singing worship songs that made them feel good. They were singing songs that called for consecration and commitment.

It turns out they were actually singing those things. You know how it is in your lives today, there will be songs that will come back up in your heart. It’s the same way here. They would sing these things over and over throughout the day. Sometimes you can’t remember some things that you heard read or heard taught, but a lot of times, we can remember the Word that was sung to us. Hallelujah. Like the song we sang yesterday, the Blessing Song. There is something about it.

Pastor Ray…

We receive that and we send it out. We say that. We declare that. We sing it out!

We sing it over America, all over the states, every state. This nation is blessed. This is one nation under God, indivisible. We declare it today. Things are moving more in God’s way every single day! And more and more are coming out of darkness and over into the light, heaven’s light. Thank You. Thank You. Blessed, prosperous, healthy, anointed, restored, equipped, hallelujah.

Plans, purposes of God, equipment, God has given unto us individually and how we fit, welded together, joined together in one accord. Hallelujah.

A Prayer for our Nation:

Father, this day too. We lift up and pray over our nation, the whole nation in Jesus’ name. We pray for a shield of divine protection over all of our country for insight and just uncovering every single terrorist kind of activity, whatever it might be. We will not be blindsided. When our eyes, attention is on one thing, we know the Devil can be working in another way. But no, no, and no in Jesus’ name.

This morning we rebuke all kinds of fear. I say, “Get out!” That’s broken too! Those chains of fear, chains of terror or division, broken in Jesus’ name. It has no place here!

Father, You said the king is in Your hand. You turn it whichever way that You choose. So, we ask You to direct the heart and the mind of President Donald Trump and Vice President Michael Pence. We pray for divine wisdom from heaven that they might make the right decisions. We pray for their divine strength, for their health. We set ourselves in agreement with them, that we receive these things in Jesus’ name.

We give thanks, Father, today that our government is upon Jesus’ shoulder. We hold up in prayer all the men and women in positions of authority in every way, all over our nation. We lift up all three branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branch in Jesus’ name on every level, state, local, federal. We pray that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon them and a hedge of protection surrounds them in Jesus’ name.

We believe skillful and godly wisdom enters into the hearts and knowledge is pleasant to them. Discretion watches over them. Understanding keeps them and delivers them from evil and from evil men. Lord, we believe that You give them. Lord, I believe You give them revelation of Your perfect will, and all their decisions are divinely directed by You.

I thank You, Lord for bringing change to the politics of our nation. Thank You for changing the voices of influence to speak in agreement with Your Word. I ask You to send laborers, filled with Spirit of wisdom and might to surround our leaders with godly counsel and insight. I also ask You to remove from positions of authority those who stubbornly oppose righteousness and replace them with men and women who will follow You and Your appointed course for America.

Your Word declares that “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” I receive Your blessing and declare with my mouth that Your people dwell safely in this land and they prosper abundantly.

You said in Your Word that if Your people would turn from their wicked ways and pray. You would heal the land. So, Lord, I repent for the sins of this nation. I ask that You would cleanse us and forgive us for idolatry, witchcraft, the sin of abortion, what we have done to the sanctity of marriage and the spirit of division we have allowed to rule in our nation and every kind of disobedience. Grant this nation a spirit of repentance and cover with Your mercy. As we turn back to You, Lord, I believe our land is being healed.

As we enter the final hours of the last days, I ask for the spirit of faith, the working of miracles, for signs, wonders, gifts and demonstrations of the Holy Spirit and power to be in strong operation. Let believers in the United States and in every land be unified to stand strong in faith in Jesus, the Anointed One and His anointing that Your glory may be revealed in all the earth.

I thank You that the good news of the Gospel is published in our land, and Your Word prevails and grows mightily in the hearts and lives of the people. I declare that Jesus is Lord over these United States!

Thank You, Lord, that these requests come to pass, I believe I receive, In Jesus’ name. Amen!

Ms. Annie led us singing He Is Lord, He Is Lord, He Has Risen From the Dead

Pastor Ray…

I saw this morning as I turned on the TV, Franklin Graham had an add on Fox News. It’s not the first time I have seen it. He goes through the salvation prayer. He is on the screen and suddenly he declares what the Word says about how we can get out of our old ways, old days, old plans, darkness and come over into the light. Then he prays a prayer out over the TV for men and women to be saved and then gives them a phone number they can call.

We pray over him this morning. We declare supernatural strength that every need is met in that ministry, enabling them to do more and more and more in Jesus’ name. And just like his father, many millions of people came to the Lord. This is a different venue and a new way but thank You, Father, for prospering him, his ministry, to go all the over the earth and bring those that are lost into heaven’s ways, heaven’s days, and salvation times. Thank You for it.

We cover him, pray a surrounded hedge around him, his ministry, and all those that are a part of it. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper! No tongue can come against them and hold them down but they are free to walk in greater victory than ever before! For the Word is going forth. The Word is being declared all over the earth. In places where it never was declared before.

So, we’re in agreement! More and more and more. God is turning that thing around right now. What the virus meant for evil, He’s turning it around and many, many men, women, and children are coming to the Lord, just accepting Him as their Lord and Savior, believing who He is, believing He went to the Cross at Calvary, and accepting that and doing what they can do just to live with Him, do what He says to do, walk in His ways in Jesus’ name.

Thank You for it, Lord, today. We declare it’s a beautiful day. It’s not about the weather. It’s not necessarily about where we live. It’s about who is living within us. So, we declare, it’s blessed wherever we go! What we set our hands unto, there’s prosperity there!

We cover all the pastors, our pastors here, Mac and Lynne. We cover and pray over them. You do the same wherever you are. We keep covering, keep praying, and keep declaring, keep backing them up, and saying “Go forth! The vision shall come forth!”

We thank You for it today in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
