Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, May 12, 2020

Pastor Ray…

Good morning! This is the day the lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad all day.

I had written this down in my Bible. “You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way.” That’s good news. We have good news this morning. What we’re doing today and will do all through this day, the Lord has already gone ahead of us when we were back there in the past. He went to prepare the way for us. In faith we can say He did it for today. Hallelujah!

Oh, Father, thank You so much for the power of Your Holy Spirit working in us, causing things to change when we say “Be changed in Jesus’ name” and it lines up with Your precious written Word, with words that You’ve spoken to our heart, and Words that You’ve spoken through the prophets all throughout the centuries and in these days that we are living in, 2020 in the month of May. Hallelujah.

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for Your infilling; for more of Your presence today. Seems like a broken record because we just keep saying that. But we mean it and need it and we’re so desirable of more of Your presence in our lives. Otherwise we’re just walking along in the natural, just like the world and the world’s ways. We want Your way, the highway, the right way, God’s way in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah.

Scripture focus to magnify Who He really is to us…

(1) Lord, you know everything there is to know about us.
(2) You perceive every movement of our heart and soul,
and you understand our every thought before it even enters our mind.
(3–4) You are so intimately aware of us, Lord.
You read our heart like an open book
and you know all the words we’re about to speak
before we even start a sentence!
You know every step we will take before our journey even begins.
(5) You’ve gone into our future to prepare the way,

Hallelujah. Thank You this morning that You’ve prepared some ways for us today and throughout all the days we will walk on this earth, until we’re in our heavenly home.

So, You’ve gone into our future to prepare the way,
and in kindness you follow behind us
to spare us from the harm of our past.

I love it! The past is over. It’s finished, done, and we’re moving ahead into the new. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father.

With your hand of love upon our life,
you impart a blessing to us.
(6) This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible!
Your understanding of us brings us wonder and strength.
(7) Where could we go from your Spirit?
Where could we run and hide from your face?
(8) If we go up to heaven, you’re there!
If we go down to the realm of the dead, you’re there too!
(9) If we fly with wings into the shining dawn, you’re there!
If we fly into the radiant sunset, you’re there waiting!
(10) Wherever we go, your hand will guide me;
your strength will empower me. Psalm 139:1-10 (TPT)

That’s good news. He knows our names. He knows our address. He knows who our children are; our grandchildren. He knows our husbands and wives. He knows everything about the church we’re connected to. He knows everything about Living Word Christian Center because that’s the church that we are coming from this morning. That’s our church.

If you are watching, and I know you are, from other churches and different places in the US and around the world, He has already gone ahead for you and He’s watching over you. He knows about you. He knows what needs to take place. He knows what needs to be said. And like we read in that Psalm, He knows what we are going to say before we even say it. Wow!

We are not alone. The God of all creation,  Father God is watching over us.

And My glory I will not give to another…” Isaiah 42:8

“For I am the LORD, I speak, and the word which I

“Indeed before the day was, I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it? “ Isa. 43:13

“Now see that I, even I, am He, and there is no God besides Me…” Deut. 32:39

“I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.” Isa. 43:15

“Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God.” Isa. 44:6

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isa. 41:10

“For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens, who is God, who formed the earth and made it, who has established it, who did not create it in vain, who formed it to be inhabited: ‘I am the LORD, and there is no other.” Isa. 45:18

“…’I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.”‘ Gen. 17:1

“I, even I, am He who comforts you…” Isa. 51:12

Pastor Ray…

For the Lord is so good all the time. He’s good today! He’s prepared the way for us today if we will open our hearts and listen.

Ms. Annie was singing yesterday that when we hear Him say go, we go. When we hear Him say don’t go or stop or turn, whatever we hear Him say, let’s say in answer to the Lord “Yes, Lord, we’ll do what You say!” Hallelujah.

Thank you so much for joining us in prayer. We can’t see all of you but by faith we can see you and connect with all of you that are connecting here online every single day, Monday through Friday. Oh, it’s such an opportunity, Lord, to come before heaven and join ourselves together with our sisters and our brothers all over the earth. For You said the earth would be filled with Your glory. We are in expectation. We’re pregnant so to speak. We expect. We’re expectant expecting that glory to be poured out all over the earth. Thank You, Father.

Ms. Annie Led us singing I Worship You Almighty God

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah. There is no one like You. We humble ourselves before heaven and we’re declaring before You Lord that Your ways and Plans are so much better than ours. You’ve made our days to be better and by faith we receive heaven’s ways today for the days we are living in, heaven’s plans for the days we are stepping out into, future times, days that are to come.

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 (AMPC)

That is a declaration or prayer over our own homes, houses we worship Him in, our churches over all of the days that are to come. Those that we can do something about, we can speak faith into or watch over or call out of dark ways or dark days or whatever might have come along. Let’s speak it like this. Those days, those plans of the enemy that have tried to stop you from doing what God has called you to do, step up in faith today, take hold of the Word of God and let that be our way that we walk, our foundation that we stand on and let’s take that scripture to heart. As for me, as for us, as for my church, as for my state, ask for my country, as for the United States we declare “We’re going to serve the Lord!”

This is a Christian nation founded on the precious Word of God. Thank You. Thank You… No, we are not departing from it. No, we will not turn around. We will not go in another way. We’ll not choose some other gods to put before us, but we choose Him the Lord of all lords, the God of all gods, the Father, the Creator of the universe! Thank You, Father.

Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

So, the peace of God and the direction of the Holy Spirit always when we listen we can hear the things we are to say or what we are to do or where we are to go, always. For the Lord God is faithful.

This morning we are trusting in what You want us, just right now. We trust You right now, at this time. We trust You. We’re trusting You. Every word that we might want to say, we want to say what You want us to say. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

Thank you for the power of Your Holy Spirit enabling us to pray out mysteries or things we don’t even know about yet. But You know Lord. We trust in You. We rely on You. Each day and each time that we pray, we believe to cooperate with heaven’s ways. For we are not alone. We are not alone!

So, we mount up, look up, and know that You’re calling us up, You’re lifting us up. That You’ve given us keys for each day. You’ve given us keys to pray about, to believe for the days that are to come that You’ve prepared it and You’ve given us keys to open doors of opportunities in the days we’re in!

Things that we’re broken up, things that have been separated, doors that have been shut – today we call for a restoration day in Jesus’ name. New decisions, right decisions lining up with the Word of God, the plan of God, and the purpose of God.

We are care free today. We worship You!

Ms. Annie led us singing in the Spirit…

Pastor Ray…

I keep hearing “borders” as you are playing Ms. Annie. Lines that tend to sometimes hold people in or back but today that in faith we push the borders out further and further. We pull up the stakes so to speak and we push out the borders this morning of our expectation concerning signs, supernatural events, sudden turnarounds, sudden restoration, sudden wholeness and wellness and prosperity!

Ms. Annie led us singing You Make a Way for Us

Pastor Ray…

You made a way for us. There is peace and comfort in that, the peace that passes all understanding. Because in some ways, we know they will work out but we don’t know how. But when we say that “You made a way for us,” the peace of God that just passes all understanding comes upon us so we can know that He, like we read way at the beginning this morning, prepared the way for our future, made a way for us. Hallelujah. Thank You, Lord.

I want to pray this confession over our country which we haven’t prayed in a while. Obviously, more and more and more prayer and pray-ers need to be praying; the name needs to be lifted, that name that is above every other name. And the Bible says pray for all those in positions of authority that it might go well with us, the Church.

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We declare our cities here for us, Minneapolis, St. Paul. Wherever you are, your cities, your state. Here we are in Minnesota. Maybe you are in another country, your country, your nation, your leaders. We lift all this before heaven this morning. We call the things that are not in the natural as though they were. We speak by faith not just by sight. We speak by faith and call those things forth in Jesus’ name. We take comfort this morning in knowing that we serve the Creator of the universe, that we have His Word written out in a book for us, the Bible. Thank You. We believe to hold fast, stay strong, keep believing, keep in expectation for what You’ve planned for the United States of America.

We lift up all of the economy and declare that turnaround has begun, and it will not stop but it will continually not just restore where we were but it will be better than ever in Jesus’ name. that’s how we see it by faith, a complete turnaround in Jesus’ name. Thank you for it this morning Lord.

We believe for Your presence all the way through this day. Thank You for Your presence that goes with us. We’re never alone. We do take comfort in You. You are our Comforter. You are our peace and You are our strength. So, we are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Thank you so much for praying with us today. We will be back here tomorrow. God bless your day. Hallelujah. Amen.
