Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, February 23, 2021

Ms. Annie led us singing Hallelujah He Has Conquered Death

Pastor Ray…

While you were playing and singing, this just came to me, where Jesus appeared to a couple of disciples and they didn’t know who He was.

Scripture focus…

13) That same day two of Jesus’ disciples were going to the village of Emmaus, which was about eleven kilometers from Jerusalem.
14) As they were talking and thinking about what had happened,
15)Jesus came near and started walking along beside them.
16) But they did not know who he was.
17) Jesus asked them, “What were you talking about as you walked along?” The two of them stood there looking sad and gloomy.
18) Then the one named Cleopas asked Jesus, “Are you the only person from Jerusalem who didn’t know what was happening there these last few days?”
19) “What do you mean?” Jesus asked.
They answered:
Those things that happened to Jesus from Nazareth. By what he did and said he showed that he was a powerful prophet, who pleased God and all the people.
20) Then the chief priests and our leaders had him arrested and sentenced to die on a cross.
21) We had hoped that he would be the one to set Israel free! But it has already been three days since all this happened.
22) Some women in our group surprised us. They had gone to the tomb early in the morning,
23) but did not find the body of Jesus. They came back, saying they had seen a vision of angels who told them that he is alive.
24) Some men from our group went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said. But they didn’t see Jesus either.
25)Then Jesus asked the two disciples, “Why can’t you understand? How can you be so slow to believe all that the prophets said?
26)Didn’t you know that the Messiah would have to suffer before he was given his glory?”
27) Jesus then explained everything written about himself in the Scriptures, beginning with the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets.
28) When the two of them came near the village where they were going, Jesus seemed to be going farther.
29) They begged him, “Stay with us! It’s already late, and the sun is going down.” So Jesus went into the house to stay with them.
30) After Jesus sat down to eat, he took some bread. He blessed it and broke it. Then he gave it to them.
31) At once they knew who he was, but he disappeared.
32) They said to each other, “When he talked with us along the road and explained the Scriptures to us, didn’t it warm our hearts?”
33) So they got up and returned to Jerusalem.

Pastor Ray…

I’m wondering if there are times when He’s working, and He wants us to know what He’s doing but we don’t even recognize that He’s doing it?

Just that we might reverence You, Lord, and recognize who You are.

We respond to who You are. We exalt You and thank You for what You’ve done. We know that Your name is Jesus. We know what You did on the Cross. And when You said it was finished, we know that it was completely and totally finished.

Oh glorious Jesus, precious Lord, Savior, Healer, Provider, Waymaker. Where we’ve missed it or just didn’t recognize what You were doing, we repent about that. Or even if we thought we did something to make it work out right, we know it’s all in You. All of the answers are in You. We know it’s not our own physical strength. It’s Yours in us and working through us. You’re so good, Lord.

We don’t want to be like these two that walked and walked and walked but did not know who He was. We want to always recognize Your works, what You’ve done, what You’re doing, and what You will do.

Thank You for Your faithfulness and that You’ve never changed. You’re still the same today. Thank You that You’re working on our behalf, all of us as Your children. You are our King Jesus. Hallelujah.

The following excerpt was taken from The Cross by Rod Parsley:

“It is finished” is a declaration that all has been accomplished. All that was lacking has now been supplied. The breach has been healed. The debt has been fully satisfied.

When John, the beloved disciple, recalls this statement to record it in his Gospel narrative, he uses a Greek accounting term—tetelestai. Future English translations of John’s Gospel will render that term in a way that tends to strip it of the legal and financial connotations. They translate it, “It is finished” (three words for one). But tetelestai does not mean merely that a thing has ended. It has a far greater implication than merely a clock has run out and the game has concluded. It is a declaration that all has been accomplished. All that was lacking has now been supplied. The breach has been healed. The debt has been fully satisfied. Shalom—nothing broken, nothing missing.

Charles Spurgeon called this declaration, “Christ’s dying word to the church.” But our King’s proclamation carries even more dimensions of meaning than this. He means that all the types, shadows, and symbols of the Old Testament have now been fully manifested in Him. He decrees that the prophecies that pointed to a future Deliverer King have been fulfilled. John the Baptist had asked, “Are you the One or should we look for another?” Jesus’s answer at that time was suggestive but indirect. Now He speaks plainly. His “Tetelestai!” emphatically shouts, “You can stop looking! The promised One has appeared and accomplished the prophesied task. Dominion of planet Earth has been restored to its rightful steward.”

Charles Spurgeon wrote of this victory cry:

The whole book from the first to the last is both the law and the prophets. It was finished in him. It’s all finished. There’s not a single jewel of promise from the first emerald which fell on the threshold of Eden to the last Sapphire of Malachi which was not set in the breastplate of the true High Priest. No, there’s not a type, from the red heifer downward to the turtle dove, from the hyssop toward upwards to Solomon’s Temple itself, which was not fulfilled in Him; and not a prophecy, whether spoken on Chebar’s bank or on the shores of Jordan; not a dream of wise men, whether they had received it in Babylon, or in Samaria, or in Judea, which was not now fully worked out in Christ Jesus!

Finally, in that cry of consummation, Jesus declared an end to separated man’s religious striving to build a ladder back to God. God, Himself has donned flesh and bone-and-blood and condescended to fallen men and willingly lain down on a cross.

“It is finished!” we hear Him cry aloud. Then He slowly; reverently, and with victorious humility bows that thorn pierced head. Yes, of course, He bows now. There is nothing left to do but exhale a prayer.

Pastor Ray…

We do. We are so forever grateful for what was done on that Cross. We reverence…

Thank You for the precious blood that was shed then; that’s working now. We plead our case by the holy blood of Jesus over every situation. Maybe there is some things in your lives that you would like to say, it is finished? I know there are some in mine.

I choose to say, “It’s finished.”

The following is an excerpt from a prophecy given by Pastor Lynne Hammond on March 9, 1995:

I hear a ringing of Heaven today and there the Spirit of the Lord would say the cross came out of mocking and jeering and sneering and a sip of vinegar and thorns upon a brow, but Pentecost came with a very great cry and I hear the cry and the cry was, it is finished, it is finished, it is finished rings in all of Heaven. It is finished and so now that it is finished, rise in the resurrection power, rise in the mark of the Holy Ghost, rise in the catch of My power and go forth to an inhabited world. Thank You, Father. Glory. Hallelujah. Thank You, Father.

Pastor Ray…

When I heard this, I received it and it was a setup for other things that would come in that year and the next year and some years around then. Ms. Annie had some similar things happen during those times. Maybe one of these mornings we could share a couple of things about that.

Up front we have the US, Israel, and Church flag, and then the Cross where everything has been completely finished. Let it ring out, let it come up, and come out of our hearts. Let it be a heartfelt declaration and prayer today that, “It is done!” Let that ring out all across the earth, “Tetelestai!” It is completely finished! Thank you, Lord.

I’m seeing a picture of some pieces that are being put right back in their place. I’m just seeing a restoration.

I’m not praying a prayer for just me. I’m praying a prayer of my heart. I’m seeing pieces and parts that somehow, they needed to be put back in their place or in their position that God preordained them to be. I don’t know what that all is. It could be financially. I don’t know what all that it is but let’s receive “Tetelestai” over everything that we have need of to see completely and totally finished now.

Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord. Broken things restored, broken lives restored and made new, better days, better ways. You know, restored better than ever, whole, healthy, wealthy, prosperous in Jesus’ name.

Ms. Annie led us singing Jesus, Your Presence Makes Us Whole

Ms. Jeani…

When Annie was singing about how He reigns, I saw the reins on horses instructing the horses which way to go.

There is no [human] wisdom or understanding or counsel [that can prevail] against the Lord. 31) The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance and victory are of the Lord. Proverbs 21: 30–31 (AMPC).

Nothing can prevail against the Lord. And as we receive the reins of His reign, those reins on those horses are to point them in the right direction and position them so they can run swiftly and quickly and in unity. They are all positioned perfectly. And the person who has the reign on those reins is Jesus. The victory belongs to Him.

But He doesn’t leave us without instruction. We are prepared for the battle and the instruction of the King of Kings brings the victory.

There is no human wisdom or understanding or counsel that can prevail against the Lord. The horse is prepared and the Church is prepared for the day of battle. But deliverance and victory are of the Lord.

The Church prepared for the day of battle knowing that as we receive His instruction, as we take on His Word, as we take on Him and take on His instruction, we run swiftly and in unity and He brings victory!

Many of us are in a place where what people have said, what circumstances have told us, things hammering at us…. Yet God says that there is no human wisdom or understanding or counsel that can prevail against the Lord. And here we are, the Church prepared for battle. And here we are taking on the reins of His reign. The reins of victory, the reins of unity, and He causes us to win.

And as we run, it’s swift. We are laughing. We’re ministering to those that are crying but we’re all running together and Jesus is directing us, the King of kings. Hallelujah.

Pastor Ray…

It seems like a relay race to me. Jesus is out front. He’s already completed the work. We’re walking our race, we’re running our race and He hands it off. Here. Here are the reins. You do it. And you’re going to do much more than I’ve done. Didn’t He say that in His Word? Hallelujah. Thank You, Lord.

Scripture focus…

19) Then on that same first day of the week, when it was evening, though the disciples were behind closed doors for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace to you!
20) So saying, He showed them His hands and His side. And when the disciples saw the Lord, they were filled with joy (delight, exultation, ecstasy, rapture).
21) Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you! [Just] as the Father has sent Me forth, so I am sending you.

What is He doing? Sending us forth, giving us the reins. He gave us His Word. We can stand on the Word. We speak His Words. We say His Word. We pray His Word.

22) And having said this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit!

I believe He is… There is something about that today, to be being filled to a greater degree than ever before. For the Church has been called for this time, the Church is anointed by heaven to do what we’ve been called on to. And that increase, it’s like another gear or a greater momentum or it’s almost like an electrical surge—more resurrection power that we might see it. There would be more revealed to us, that we would know who we are in Him and keep moving. Hallelujah. (tongues) Today, today Ohhh! Out from mental into spirit realm. Like He said to the disciples then, “receive and be filled!” We receive and be filled.

Do not doubt that you personally are being prepared for your tomorrows, today.

Yes. Preparation time, preparation days for the weeks and the months in the years that are to come. Ohhh! It’s finished and it is ringing and there is a sound and it’s a victorious sound. Ah, orders, orders, divine words, orders. Oh, a spirit, the spirit of seeing ah!

Thank You, Father. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!  Oh no! We will not go back. No! We will not go that way. No, no, no, no in Jesus’ name. But our eyes will look up and receive here below the words given from heaven and go and go and go and flow and go and grow! Ohhh! and walk on and run on! Oh! For the army of God, we have joined up to! Ha! Ha! Ha! Hallelujah!

For the Leader has said, “You can do it! You will do it! You can do all things in Me!”

Oh, contend, contend for it. Contend for it! Yearn for it! Expect it! Believe it and receive it! (singing in other tongues) Ohhh! That’s a sound of victory. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Yeah. Hallelujah, Lord. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Corners, turning some corners. Yeah! Oooohhh! We’ll take the right turn. We’ll move in the right ways. We’ll take the right steps.

I keep hearing money. I just keep hearing that word. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Ms. Jeani…

Milk and Honey Money.

Pastor Ray…

Oh, there’s a momentum. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Breakthrough days! Hallelujah. For breaking through these days!

Money, come to us. When? Now! Money come to the Church now in Jesus’ name. Oh, great turnarounds and momentum too.

Ms. Annie led us singing in the Spirit

Ms. Jeani…

I see the table being set, the eternal table of His goodness, the table that He sets for us before our enemies, the eternal table. And even now we continue to partake in unity of the eternal table of His goodness. It’s the table of answers. It’s the table of peace. It’s the table of strength. It’s the table of happy endurance. It’s the table of friendship. The table of sisters and brothers. It’s the table of Kings and Queens. It’s the table of dominion. It’s the table of comfort. It’s the table of healing. It’s the table of inventions. It’s the table of healing. It’s the table of identity. You belong to Him! The table of sons and daughters all together, a wide vast table of freedom being set right there in the presence of your enemies.

Father, You opened our eyes to the table of bounty, the table of fullness, the table of now, the table of all ready, the table of FINISHED! It’s set for us. It’s a setup and it’s set for us! And we partake happily! And there are those at the table right now that came wearing. So, we help them partake. There are those at the table now that came late, and we help them partake. We help them partake.

We step in on behalf of the weary. We step in on behalf of those that have believed the lie that they’re still under condemnation and accusation. And we say, come to the table, come to the table. You are brothers and sisters, we eat with you. We eat with you. Angels ministering at the table! All we do is receive. That’s. All we do is receive in the presence of our enemies.

Scripture focus…

Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!  Matthew 5:6 (AMPC)

So, we take our place. Hallelujah.

 Ms. Jeani…

That table goes into the marketplace. That table goes into the Capitol. That table extends into every highway and byway! That table of Light, Light that consumes darkness! And all we do is sit at the table and receive. And as we receive, we continue to believe! The eternal table of the Kingdom of God! Strength set in the presence of darkness, takes over and brings freedom to everyone who is at the table. You are at the table!

Pastor Ray…

Ms. Annie please sing the Blessing song. That will go along with the sons, the daughters, the Church, the table, the setting, the dishes, everything that’s on it. Thank you, Lord.

Ms. Annie led us singing The Lord Bless You and Keep You

Scripture focus…

The Parable of the Dinner

16) Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests.
17) At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’
18) “But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.’
19) “Another said, ‘I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I’m on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.’
20) “Still another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come.’
21) “The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’
22) “‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’
23) “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.
24) I tell you, not one of those who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.’” Luke 14:16-23

Ms. Cindy…

Father, we thank You that You have prepared a table for us all.

As I was coming here this morning, I was singing, The Goodness of God. There’s a part in that song that reads, “I’ve known you as a Father. I’ve known You as a Friend.”

Father, I want to be Your friend in this way. I want to be the one You ask, “Will you go out into all the world for Me? Will you tell them I have a table that is prepared?”

We want to be Your friend, Father. Help us to work on this level with You.

Thank You, Father, for Your grace and Your mercy, Your loving kindness that has already been prepared—everything that we need to be fully satisfied every day. This world does not satisfy. It offers up only a counterfeit meal. But You have the real, nourishing food – Your Word for us every day. Your goodness that causes us to be… satisfied.

We can sit down at Your table every day and freely partake and then ask those outside to come in and join us. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father.

We do decide today to do that, to go out and invite people in that they can know You, to experience You, to taste and see, and realize, Father, that they were meant to know You. This one thing: they were created to know You and partake of Your goodness. Thank You, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Pastor Ray…

Praise God. Hallelujah. Oh, notification to self, “Thank God I came to the chapel today.”

And I’m glad you came too. Together, not separated, but joined together with greater revelation about everything He’s already done for us.

So, we say it right at the end again, “It is finished in Jesus name. Amen.” Thank you.
