Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Heather…
Good morning, everybody. Welcome to Tuesday morning prayer. We’re so glad you could join us in person and online.
Prayed…
Worthy is the Lamb.
Through the veil. Go through that veil now.
The veil was torn that you could go into the Holy of Holies.
So come now. Come now into the Holy of Holies, into My presence, says the Lord.
Oh, we reverence you. Worthy is the Lamb.
Oh, there’s no one like you.
Let your glory just fall in this place now, fall on every heart, every mind, every body.
Those watching online fall in those rooms where they’re watching. There’s no distance.
Oh yes, we make room for you now, to move.
Rest on us now.
We receive all that you have, Father.
Worthy of our adoration and our praise.
Fall in this place, Holy Spirit. Fall, fall, fall.
Let your presence fill up this place. Let your train fill the temple.
Not just this chapel, but the temple of our bodies.
Filling to overflowing now.
Just receive that now. Receive that infilling and the indwelling presence of the mighty God.
Hovering, hovering, hovering… now moving through this place.
The presence of God is here.
Yeah, so receive what you need now.
There’s an anointing now for miracles, for healing, for answers, for provision.
Because in His presence, there’s fullness. Nothing missing, nothing lacking.
So receive what you need now.
Open your heart to His presence.
You are able. You are able, as nothing is impossible with you.
So, Holy Spirit, move, move, move, move how you want to move.
So make room in your heart now for Him to move.
What does He want to move out? What does He want to move in?
Making room for you to move.
We don’t put you in a box today, Father.
We give you free reign. Free reign to move how you want to move, to do what you want to do.
The Holy Spirit is moving now.
Moving on hearts, moving on minds, moving on bodies, moving on situations, moving on relationships.
Yes, we say move, Holy Spirit, do what you want to do.
We release control to you.
Now we yield, yield, yield, yield.
I just keep hearing Him say “Yield. Yield every part of yourself to Him.”
What’s that thing that you’re holding back that you haven’t yielded unto Him yet?
Yield it now. Yield it. Give it to Him. Let Him have the right of way.
Pastor Heather shared…
I think sometimes we use the Holy Spirit kind of to anesthetize our pain, to numb things. But He’s so much greater than that. There’s so much more power. We kind of treat Him like maybe a bottle of Advil when we have a body ache or a headache. There’s so much more, so much power that He wants to move through us if we just yield to Him.
Nothing should stop us…
You think we are walking around with the Spirit of the living God inside of us. Nothing should stop us. We should be unstoppable. His power is so much greater than just receiving comfort, which He does that too because He’s the comforter. But there’s so much more.
He’s calling us into a partnership with Him…
And He’s calling us into a relationship, but like a partnership with Him. A partnership where He wants us to cooperate with the things that He wants to do. So it’s not just about us and receiving our needs and receiving comfort, receiving healing, receiving… Yes, all those things will be given unto us. But it’s about carrying out His purpose, carrying out His will, and tapping into that power that He’s given us.
Jesus said, “It’s good that I go, because I’ll send you a comforter.” There were so many words in that moment. So we have this gift, this power, this dynamite power inside of us. And I hear the Holy Spirit saying, “We’re not tapping into that power the way that we should. We’re not yielding to that the way that we should.” We’re trying to figure things out in our head and do things on our own.
So help us, Holy Spirit, help us.
Jesus obviously, when He came to the earth, He was directed by the Holy Spirit. He listened to the Holy Spirit. He didn’t move until He got the go ahead, until He got a green light. So you think even like when John the Baptist was killed, that was His cousin. He said we’re not going right now. Like He waited. What was he waiting for? He was waiting for the Holy Spirit to say, “Okay, now. Now is the time.” All the prophecies that Jesus had to fulfill… I’m just going to read something real quick.
The odds of Jesus fulfilling just eight of the prophecies about Him…
The chances of winning a major US lottery, like Jackpot, like Powerball or Mega Millions are typically around 1 in 300 million. The odds of Jesus fulfilling eight of the prophecies about the Messiah, they say are 1 in a hundred quadrillion.
So just think of that for a minute. I’m not condoning the lottery this morning. I’m just saying the odds of winning the lottery, winning big, 1 in 300 million, the odds of Jesus fulfilling eight of His prophecies are 1 and 100 quadrillion. That’s like, I think 15 zeros.
Book, “More Than a Carpenter”
So this book, “More Than a Carpenter” by Josh McDowell, there’s a part that I’m going to read to you. And it talks about those prophecies.
“Could one person fulfill all of the Old Testament prophecies? In their books, ‘Science Speaks,’ Peter Stoner and Robert Newman did calculations to analyze that probability. Writing in the forward to that book, Harold Hatsler of the American Scientific Affiliation says ‘The Manuscript for Science Speaks has been carefully reviewed by a committee of the American Scientific affiliation members and by the executive council of the same group, and has been found in general to be dependable and accurate in regard to the scientific material presented. The mathematical analysis included is based upon principles of probability, which are thoroughly sound. And Professor Stoner has applied these principles in a proper and convincing way.’”
So now I’m going to tell you those probabilities…
“The following probabilities show that coincidence is ruled out. Because some people will say, ‘Maybe it was just coincidence that Jesus came and fulfilled all these prophecies about the Messiah.’ Stoner says that by applying the science of probability to eight prophecies, just eight, we find that the chance that any man might have lived down to the present time and fulfilled all eight prophecies is 1 in 10 to the 17th power, which is one in a hundred quadrillion. That is 1 in 100 quadrillion.” I can’t read all the zeros.
“To help us comprehend this staggering probability, Stoner illustrates it by supposing that we take 100 quadrillion silver dollars and we lay them on the face of Texas. They will cover the state two feet deep. Now, mark one of those silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly.” So mix it in. “All over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick up one silver dollar and say that this is the right one. What chance would we have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would have had of writing those eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man. From their day to this present time, providing they wrote them in their own wisdom.
“Now, these prophecies were either given by the inspiration of God or the prophets just wrote them as they thought they should be. In such a case, the prophets had just one chance in 100 quadrillion of having them come true in any man. But they all came true in Christ.
“This means that the fulfillment of these eight prophecies alone proves that God inspired the writing of those prophecies to the definiteness, which lacks only one chance of one in 100 quadrillion of being absolute.”
Don’t undersell the Holy Spirit…
So if the Holy Spirit could help Jesus find one coin that was marked, can’t He help you with whatever your thing is today? Absolutely. So don’t undersell the power of the living God that’s living inside of you. And whatever your thing is that you’re facing, He’s working on your behalf and He already knows the answer. So we watch Jesus obviously fulfill prophecy after prophecy and be in the right place at the right time, talking to the right people about the right things, and fulfilling every single one of them, casting the hook out into the sea, catching a fish with a coin in the mouth. What are the chances of that? All of these things. Find the man holding the vase. Tell him we need a room. Find the person that has a colt tied up. Tell him the Master needs it. All these things. Why? Because He was listening to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
And we have that very same Holy Spirit inside of us. And He walked that out. He modeled that life for us so that we could follow His steps, that we could follow the Holy Spirit, that He says, “Watch Me. You’ll do these works and greater works.” Where are the greater works?
Prayed…
So, Father, we thank you. Holy Spirit, we repent now of any stubbornness.
I repent of any stubbornness to do it my way.
I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, you are a person of the Trinity living inside of us.
And so we reverence that today.
We remind ourselves that our brains are not in charge.
Our minds are not in charge.
Our bodies are not in charge.
We have the Spirit of the living God inside of us, showing us steps to take, answers to questions, things to speak out, people to reach.
Every question we have, you already have an answer.
So we yield to you, Holy Spirit.
We repent for any self-motives, selfish ways, because we think we know better.
Holy Spirit, we ask that you show us how to walk in your ways.
Thank you for joining us for prayer today. My name is Heather Sibinski and I’m one of the pastors at Living Word. Have a good day.
