Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, August 27, 2019

Brother Rob…

God is so good. I am so looking forward to spending time with you all worshipping and praying. I was up early this morning just thinking about how good God is, all that Jesus has done for us, where would we be without His plan for us. I am just so thankful.

Brother Rob led us in thanksgiving and praise to God

Yes, there is a presence of breakthrough here this morning. God is a God of breakthrough, breaking through into more than enough.

Brother DJ…

Today is the August 27. So my mind went over to read Psalm 27.

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?

When I was driving over this morning I was meditating on this scripture. Suddenly I heard the Lord say “I will lift you up. You will not dash your foot against a stone.” So when the stone comes, He will lift you up so you miss that stone. You will that issue.

In reading Psalm 27, I found the secret of King David. He said “One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life…to inquire in His temple.” He knows the secret of going to church.

I have been reading about him and many times he says “I went to the temple. I went to the tabernacle.” He knew that if he made it to church, things are going to change. Hallelujah. He said “One thing.” He didn’t want to know too many things. “One thing I asked the Lord. That I may dwell in the house of the Lord and seek Him in His Temple” (tongues).

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11 (KJV) .

We were glad when they said let us go into the house of the Lord (our Father’s House). Psalm 122:1

Another scripture came this morning. Paul said I have learned the secret of how to be content. So, we were just sharing this scripture earlier this morning at my Men’s prayer group. We learned that there is a secret to how to be happy, content. He said that when I have lack, I have no worry. If there was something he was going through, he learned the secret of facing it. So, there is a secret to be learned.

The secret is “I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:19 NKJV

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 NKJV

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Phil. 4:8 KJV

And then the peace will follow. So, we can control our peace by what we are thinking. We decide to think about those good things.

We will bless the Lord at all times and His praises shall continually be in our mouth.” Psalm 34:1 (KJV)

“Oh we will bless the Lord, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all our iniquities; who heals all our diseases;… He satisfies our mouth with good things; so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s!” Psalm 103:2-3 (NKJV)

“The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” Psalm 34:10 (ESV)

“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31 (KJV)

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:1-3 (KJV)

“A thousand may fall at our side, and ten thousand at our right hand; but it shall not come near us.” Psalm 91:7 (NIV)

Oh, we have made Jesus our Lord and Savior, our God. No evil shall befall us, no plague, no disease, no accident will come near us.

It’s all in Your Word and He sent His Word and healed them all from cancer. Father, we send Your Word for the man, for the woman who has cancer. The Word of healing, the Son of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. Father, I thank You that cancer will be out of him, out of her, and they will go out healed because of Your Word. We send Your Word today. You know their names, You know them personally.

Ms. Cindy…

♪ You are the God that increases strength through Your Word. The truth of Your Word strengthens feeble knees and lifts hands that hang low. They are lifted up in the name of Jesus, growing in the knowledge of the Father.

We speak to pain to go. All pain must go in the name of Jesus. For pain has a name and must bow to the name of Jesus. He took our pain and carried all of our weakness and by His strips we are healed and whole and walking in the strength You supply and the peace that passes understanding. It guards our hearts and guards our minds. ♪

That peace His gives! His peace we receive today. Walking with our feet shod with that peace that causes all grace to abound because we bow our knee unto You and You alone Father. And we yield not to fear, seeing all contradiction come to nothing in the light of Your Good Report!

Thank You, Father. You gave us Your Son. He died and rose again that we might enjoy, not just have life but enjoy life. It was Your delight. It was Your kind intent. You came to give it Lord and we receive it now.

You purposed in Your heart to set us free from the bondage of fear; into the light of Your liberty, that we might know and seek Your face and dwell in that secret place where only the redeemed can go, where even the fool, the wayfaring will not stumble because You lift them up, like DJ shared.

He has given His angels especial charge over us to accompany and defend us in all our ways. And Father, our ways are ways of obedience and service and we love Your law and nothing shall offend us! We have the nature to go after it, Father. For it is the delight of our soul! Nothing shall offend us or be like that stone that causes stumbling because Your angels keep us from the path of offense.

Why should we be offended when it was Your kind intent? You sent Jesus that we could be reconciled unto You. Father, in this place, this secret place of the Most High! We remain stable! fixed under Your shadow! No weapon, no foe can withstand Your power! Your peace garrisons about us and we are insulated from all harm and our enemy comes to nothing in Your light, the knowledge of Abba Father.

You fill our hearts. You flood our souls. You encompass us around about with songs of deliverance. You make our way perfect and we always have good success. Why? Because we abide under the shadow of the All Mighty Whose power no foe can withstand.

Father, thank You today that we are walking on the Highway of God and no weapon fashioned against the body of Christ can prosper – not in the Light of Your glory and Your grace. Your Mercy came down and met truth and righteousness and peace have kissed!

Thank You, Lord, that the whole earth is springing up with life because your Church is abiding under Your shadow. And we live and abide in the Father and the Father in us.

Thank You for this peace, this place of abiding, a holy habitation in You in which we see only good. And as we see it, it becomes. We are the creative force in the universe. So, we want to look through Your eyes and see everything the way You see it because then we will declare it to be. Thank You, Father, for this walking with You in peace, prosperity, mercy, and grace to everything and everywhere until the whole earth is flooded with the knowledge of Your goodness.

And we are walking in this peace, not remaining idle or sitting down like Psalms 1 says, not in the path of the sinner or listening to the scornful. But we get up in the midst of a crooked and perverse world and continue to walk out Your ways and carrying Your presence to this world. And like the Word says, they will see and they will turn and even loose themselves from that bondage that has held them captive to fear.

They loose themselves because we’re bringing LIGHT to the captives! We’re proclaiming the liberty and opening of prison doors to those that are in prison, Father.

“At midnight Paul and Silas sang praises unto God and the prisoners heard them. The earth quaked and the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26

Last week Brother Jerry said that that prison was the birthplace of the Philadelphian church. After Paul and Silas sang praises unto God at midnight, the jailer got saved. He was set free! All of the prisoners were set free! And he became the pastor of that congregation. They became the Philadelphian Church, the Church of Brotherly Love. And God is pleased when we walk in love with one another, fulfilling His command because they will know that God is truly among us when we have love for one another.

I love that! All of the prisoners set free! And that’s our ministry. All of the bonds are broken in the name of Jesus and there is such thanksgiving knowing the truth of His Mercy and Grace, knowing that enablement that causes us to rise up from prostration and praise God and release the light that shines through us and we become a church of brotherly love, disseminating the knowledge of the goodness of God throughout the earth.

(1) How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!
(2) For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe.
(3) Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.
Psalms 133 (NLT)

Thank You, Father, for harmony between brothers. There is a commanded blessing, when we live together in peace. Thank You, Lord.

I lift up this church, Living Word, that we would be a kind of Philadelphia church, a church of brotherly love. That You would be so pleased and we would live in Your blessing, even life everlasting, the highway of God, where we love as we have been loved. Thank You, Father.

Jesus, You showed us the way. Thank You, Lord. Father, we receive the impartation, the ability to love as You have loved us. That we would walk accurately, purposefully, and worthily, that we would be the church known for our love. Thank You, Lord.
