Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Welcome. Good morning, everyone.

Don’t diminish your supply of the Spirit…

I have a real sense that the Lord is gathering the church in this hour, those who will respond, gathering the church in general, gathering the precious fruit of the earth, but also gathering people who have a heart to pray and collaborate with God the Holy Spirit. There are some real specific things I believe He wants us to pray out and to pray through this morning. So I encourage you to not discount or diminish in any way your supply even though there might be many of us in the chapel, many online, each of us has a distinct and necessary supply of God the Holy Spirit, a supply of prayer that the Lord is calling for right now. The Holy Spirit is wanting to breathe on us and breathe through us the intentions and the heart and the purposes of God.

John Wesley quote…

Once again, I always reference what the great John Wesley said in the 18th century. He had this observation that it seems that God can’t do anything for humanity unless someone asks Him. So there’s this interaction, this collaboration between heaven and earth that must happen. And I like to say that there’s actually an acceleration of that in this time and hour. And so each of us are a part of that.

We’re on assignment…

So be cognizant of the fact that the Holy Spirit is here this morning, and that He is wanting to work in us and through us. Be aware that we’re on assignment this morning to not only pray through some things, maybe personally for you, for us as a church, but globally and what concerns the plan of God in the earth in this hour.

I’m reminded of this passage in 1st Corinthians 12:7. It simply says, “But to each is given the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, the evidence, the spiritual illumination of the spirit for good and for profit.” So can we just agree this morning that the Holy Spirit’s going to manifest? He’s going to animate in us. He’s going to be active and moving and speaking and doing in us and through us. He carries out the Father’s desires, right?

Prayer …

Lord, we even lift up what you spoke through the Great Smith Wigglesworth so many years ago, Lord, that there would be a coming together in the final day of the word and the Spirit to advance and accomplish and bring to a, a, finish the plan of God and the earth through the church.

And so, Lord, we just invite you, even right now, Lord, in this moment of worship. Heavenly Father, we invite you personally, individually, wherever we might be this morning, to search our hearts, to turn over, to topple every idol in every unclean thing. Holy Spirit, search our hearts run clear through our souls and our thoughts and our motives, even in our ways and what we think and purify and bring to our attention, those blind spots and those places that we’ve left, abandoned and unattended in our own lives, and perhaps ministries and families and relationships and callings.

We each have a supply…

As I said at the beginning, don’t diminish your supply. Each of us have such a significant supply to the heart and plan of God. We offer up our supply this morning. We offer up our prayers in the spirit today. We may not be able to comprehend them with our mind, but we know they are of and by and inaugurated and inspired by God the Holy Spirit. As we open up our mouths, Lord, and speak out to you today, the wonderful works of God as it says in the New Testament…

Supplies… We pray for supplies. Incidentally, I had this thought coming down this morning… Yes, I do lift up supplies, supernatural supplies to be delivered right now in Jesus’ name, in this place this weekend, in our services, in our school, however you desire, Lord, we pray for the delivery of fresh supplies in Jesus’ name.

Prayer is a river…

I just had the thought coming down here, but one thing that I’ve learned through the years from Pastor Lynne and Brother Hagin and others is that there’s a river in prayer. Prayer is a river. And attached to the spirit of prayer is the spirit of the future, a spirit of prophecy. And so sometimes when maybe I pray out something like “supply,” you might think, “Well, Ken just didn’t get enough sleep last night. That’s just really random.” But the truth is I just endeavor to connect to that river on the inside. Certainly there are times we start out praying from our intellect, from our soul, but the destination or the desires to get into our hearts, connect with that living, breathing river of the Father’s heart. Because there are words, there are strategies, there is skillful weaponry and decrees that God wants to be breathed out through you and me to accomplish His purpose. Things that become swords in the realm of the spirit. Things that are keys that unlock.

Pray words that come to you…

So just know that even when we pray collectively that there’s things rising up in you, you sense something, just breathe that out. Just whisper that. Say that! Let that come out of you in the spirit or in your understanding. It’s not coincidental. It’s not random at all. It’s very specific, especially in the spirit. You’re praying out things that really the Father wants and you really want in your real self that you don’t maybe even realize, but you’re praying it out, you’re articulating it, and you’re making it available to the Father to accomplish just that.

Ephesians 5:18…

Let me share a couple of scriptures with you in Ephesians 5:18. It says, “Ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.” In fact, let me just pull out this multiple translation thing here and just read this out of these different translations. But Ephesians 5:18 once again says, “Do not be drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.” The Amplified Bible says, “And do not get drunk on wine, but be ever filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.” The Jordan translation says, “Don’t get drunk on wine and carry on a lot of foolishness. Instead, tank up on the spirit.” I like that. The Message Bible says, “Drink the Spirit of God. Huge drops of Him.”

The life of overflow…

And I think that maybe can get overlooked because we’ve heard that many times. But that’s a profound, ancient, eternal kingdom principle. This life of overflow. God wants us to live from overflow, from that river, from His divinely assigned flow to our life and to our ministry. Because it’s from that place that we are elevated out of just what’s natural and what’s the norm to what is supernatural and what God really intends.

Sensing the river in prayer…

In fact, can I just share something with you this morning? Something I just jotted down last night and sometimes I just sense that river in prayer. There’s a river even in administration. There’s a river in creativity. Even the ancients that didn’t even know God understood that there was some presence that came to influence them, to craft a great work of art or sculpture or pen some great written work of some kind.

But we know it to be the Holy Spirit. And I just sense that the Holy Spirit wants us to pay attention to Him more now… He is the great separator. Kind of like watching Kaitlyn Clark, “Like, what’s the separator? Why is she so good?” There’s some things that have caused her to be separated and to be at the next level from everybody around her. And for us, that is the Holy Spirit. And I have to say, the longer I journey the more I am captivated and curious about the Holy Spirit. Of course, we have a foundation of the Word and the Word doesn’t go anywhere. It’s to be together with the Spirit. But in this hour, the solution is God the Holy Spirit. Coupled with the Word.

Words from Pastor Ken’s journal…

But I just sensed the river of my heart last night praying and I jotted down these words because a lot of times for me, it just comes out in pen. And maybe it’s just for me, but I thought I would share it with you this morning. It’s simply this.

“I’m perpetually impressed and captivated by the Holy Spirit. We find ourselves at a threshold of a new culminating outpouring of Pentecost power, an outworking for our generation.”

You know that’s true, right?

“The final chapter of the Acts of the apostles is yet to be written, but it’s beginning to be penned right now around the world. Our Heavenly Father is presently drawing the attention of His people to the power and relevancy of God the Holy Spirit, who is now in the earth and actively at work. The Father’s desire is for Him… that would be the Spirit… to receive our attention and collaboration. Once again, as it was in the early church, it is to be the Spirit’s functioning within and through us. That’s to distinguish and set us apart. It’s to be His fullness.”

We’re going to get back to His fullness moment where we practiced His presence, right?

“…and are ever being filled and stimulated as we just read, speaking out in Psalms and hymns to the Lord. Our greatest need on any given day is to pursue fullness, to host His presence.”

He doesn’t go anywhere. He’s there, but sometimes He’s in the recesses of our thoughts or in the back room of our soul. What He wants now is to be at the forefront of our daily cognitive processing, at the forefront of our daily decision making, at the forefront of our praying.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been guilty of just praying out of memory rather than out of the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Or for that matter of doing a lot of things out of memory of what I have learned. Paul warned the Galatian church, have you started in the spirit? Are you now trying to finish it in the flesh? Come on now! He said who bewitched you? Who deceived you? Who lulled you into this sort of thinking?

It is His grace, right? His mercy. The inspiration, the leadership, the fullness of His Spirit that birthed the church into the earth. It is to be His fullness activation through us and spiritual gifts that transform our little into much and make us supernaturally effective. And bring God’s plan to a flourishing finish in the earth.

There’s so much I can say right here, but I just want to challenge us this morning to be captivated by Him. Notice Him. Recognize His presence, His ministry, His operation. He’s not some crazy uncle of the Trinity who’s far out there, and you can’t really know Him. He’s in the earth. He’s in us. Right? And He wants to grant us a level up in everything that we do, including our praying. But we’ve got to put Him in a place of priority and a place of prominence in our thinking, in our scheduling, in our time before we do the natural that we must do.

If we’ll do that, then what we do naturally, won’t be natural anymore. It’ll be supernatural. You’ll be at the right place at the right time. You’ll have the solution. You will be a solution. Right? Problems will be solved well ahead of you encountering them. Because the Spirit is the spirit of the future. Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit and He would guide us into all the truth. He would guide us even into the truth that pertains to your life. And it went on to say in John 16:13, “and He will show you things to come.”

Do we believe the Bible or not? He will show us things to come.

Ending prayer…

And so, Lord, we just pray this morning that you would tune us into the frequency that is presently being transmitted from your realm to our realm, through your Word, but also to our hearts, by and of and through the Holy Spirit. Lord, tune us in. Help us to pick up on that frequency of creativity, of solutions, of answers, of divine help and instruction. Yes, even protection today.
