Morning Prayer Summary for Thursday, September 10, 2020

Pastor Ray…

Good morning. If you’re not from Minnesota, it was in the 30s this morning! Whew! But we will be warming up. We’re warm on the inside though. I read through this yesterday evening. It’s Isaiah 61, just the first seven verses. It’s from the Passion translation.

Thank You, Father, here we are gathered together in Your name. Thank You. You said You would be with us. Right in the midst of us. Thank You for the presence of Your Holy Spirit. It’s a new day in You. It’s good because You are good. Thank You for Your mercies that are new. Thank You for Your grace, for the covering of the blood. We can declare because You gave it to us—no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We’re protected by the precious holy blood of the Lamb. Thank You so much for it, Lord. Hallelujah.

So Isaiah 61:1–7, the Passion translation. There are a couple of great things in here. It begins…

“The mighty Spirit of Lord Yahweh is wrapped around me…” I’ll just take that for myself. “because Yahweh has anointed me, as a messenger to preach good news to the poor. He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted, to tell captives, “You are free,” and to tell prisoners, “Be free from your darkness.” 2 I am sent to announce a new season of Yahweh’s grace and a time of God’s recompense on his enemies, to comfort all who are in sorrow, 3 to strengthen those crushed by despair who mourn in Zion—to give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes, the oil of bliss instead of tears, and the mantle of joyous praise instead of the spirit of heaviness. Because of this, they will be known as Mighty Oaks of Righteousness, planted by Yahweh as a living display of his glory. 4 They will restore ruins from long ago and rebuild what was long devastated. They will renew ruined cities…” Ahh ha ha… I love it! “and desolations of past generations. 5 Foreigners will be appointed to shepherd your many flocks…” that means we’ve got a lot. “…strangers will cultivate your fields and tend your vines. 6 But you will be known as Priests of Yahweh, and called Servants of our God. You will feast on the wealth of nations and revel in their riches! 7 Because you received a double dose of shame and dishonor, you will inherit a double portion of endless joy and everlasting bliss!”

That’s us! Over in 1st Peter 2:9 says, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation…” We take all that. That’s us! We are known as priests of Yahweh and called servants of our God. And then here it says, I’ll begin again in verse 9, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own [d]purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (Amp.). In the Passion, I don’t know if you ever use that translation, but it’ll go through and kind of explain some of the verses. This is what it says about Isaiah 61:1:

“The title of Messiah is taken from the Hebrew verb “to anoint.” Messiah means the Anointed One in both Hebrew (mashiach) and Greek (Christos). Our Lord Jesus quoted this passage in Nazareth (Luke 4:16–21) and introduced his “jubilee” ministry to Israel (Lev. 25). The first three verses of this chapter describe the twofold mission of Jesus: (1) to open the door of the day of grace to the world; (2) to proclaim the day of vengeance coming on sin, darkness, sickness, and eventually, the “goat” nations. As a prophet, he comes to preach the new season of grace; as a priest, he comes to heal; and as a king, he comes to decree and herald peace and freedom to the captives. See Luke 3:21–22; Acts 10:38.”

Okay, let’s go back. When it says “they will restore ruins from long ago, renew the ruined cities,” who is that? That’s all of those that were up right at the beginning when He said I’m going to preach good news to the poor. He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted, to tell captives “you’re free” and to tell prisoners, “Be free of your darkness.” I’m sent to announce a new season of Yahweh’s grace in a time of God’s recompense on His enemies to comfort all who are in sorrow. All of the brokenhearted.

Have you ever been broken? Ever been in sorrow? Have you ever been in darkness? Have you ever been held captive? He came and He set us free. One more time: we will be known as priests of Yahweh and we are called servants of our God and we will feast on the wealth of nations and revel in their riches. And we will renew the ruined cities. Does that sound like today? It is for now! This is the time. We are anointed. He gave us the anointing. He put it within us. We’re anointed to do these things that He said we would do. And those things that have been cut down, ruined so to speak, burned, they shall be restored! In Jesus’ name. Hallelujah!

Thank You for the cross, Lord! Thank You for the cross at Calvary and for the blood that was shed for us. That we might do these things that You’ve said we could and would do. And we know that it’s not us, it’s not about us. But it’s all about others that we might bring that glory, that presence to them. Just because we would walk into a room. Maybe we might not say one word but the Word would come through. The presence of the Holy Spirit would be manifested just like in the book of Acts when the disciples like Peter walked down the street and they’d bring every kind of sick person and lay them out there and the shadow of Peter brought healing to every single person! That is how we must believe that we are.

Say this: “I am anointed. I’m anointed! I am anointed to do the works of God, to carry out the plan of God, to change a nation, to change my nation, to change every state, to change the states that have gone another way and bring them back in the right way. In Jesus’ name.”

They’ve gone in the wrong direction and we’re calling them back in line in Jesus’ name. Thank You for the blood of Jesus and that we’ve overcome through that precious holy blood. Just like it says in Revelation… they overcame because of the blood of the Lamb. And they kept on testifying in the face of death. They kept on declaring “We’ve overcome by the blood of the Lamb.” And we declare that too.

Some things are shaking up. And some things are shaking out. But our destiny is based on this solid Word of God. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and in the name of Jesus, we can and will do everything we’ve been called on to do. For we are overcomers! We’re anointed and the anointing goes with us. What we say based on the Word, it all shall come to pass. Glory! Okay, Miss Annie, I’m handing it over to you.

Jeannie…

Yesterday, I kept hearing “the captive will be captains.” And then today, Pastor Ray was reading out of Isaiah 60 and sometimes when God tells us something, if it builds pressure up on the inside, you know… you have to speak it. So America right now the enemy is trying to convince America that she is captive. America, you are not captive. You have a covenant with the Most High… He sent Me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted to tell captives “You are free.” America, restoring ruined cities… restoring ruined nations… the restoration of the relationship with Israel… America, your time has come… this is your greatest hour… you rise up… we will not be deceived and believe that you’ve been held captive and that you’re captive… you are the captain… captains of industry coming out of America… captains of education coming out of America… captains of entertainment, righteousness reigning in America… out of the church come captains of entertainment, captains of industry… America, it is your greatest hour and that would be now… that would be today…

Pastor Ray…

The government will rest on His shoulders and He will be called wonderful counselor… mighty God… everlasting Father… the prince of peace… His government and His peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of His ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of heaven’s armies will make this happen. Isaiah 9:6–7… we take authority over deception of any kind… we brush that away… we take authority over deceiving plans and ways… we plead the blood of Jesus and push back against every deceived way… we’ve been set up on that road of righteousness, covered and cleansed by the blood… healed… every day…

Jeannie…

I see the alarm… I see the alarm go off… and America no longer presses the “snooze” button… I see the Church has risen up… she’s awake and she no longer is pressing the snooze button and saying, “Five more minutes until I get up… one more week till I get up…” No! She’s up! She’s up! Responding to the alarm of the Holy Spirit… responding to the urgency… of the hour… turning and shifting… it’s time to come to pass… recompense… the earth cries out…

Pastor Ray…

By and through the blood… every day… each and every day… calling those things that are not as though they were… an alignment in Jesus’ name… restoration days … the blood of Jesus… open the right ways and plans… destinations…

Jeannie…

The roar… the roar of intercession on the earth… the roar of the lion… the roar of intercession in the earth… opening doors that have been shut for ages… open, shut, open, shut… the roar of intercession upon the earth…

Pastor Ray…

I just saw SOS or 911… where we’d be so alert, we would have it revealed, we would see it and know it. We would hear it. I saw three ways. I saw a left, left in the ditch. I saw a right way over too far to the right. Then I saw a center road, a center highway and it is a higher way and it is the right way to contend for the church to stay on the righteous highway… an alert… in Jesus’ name…

In the natural, I know a lot of cars have this… it’s a setting that you can click into and if you go over on the white line to the right, it will bring you back. If you go across the center line, it will bring you right back. In the natural, it will keep your car in line in the center where it’s supposed to be. And that’s the way the blood of Jesus is working for us as the church in these days. I take authority over those that have been blinded in the church, that have been deceived in some way or another to stand up for absolutely the opposite things that the Word says are true. Many, many… be awakened in Jesus’ name… that’s all of the church… the whole body of Christ… every stream and every river… those that call on the name of Jesus…

we listen for Your voice… the voice of a stranger we will never follow… cuz we don’t recognize the voice of strangers… we know our shepherd’s voice… so we listen…   ♪

Pastor Ray…

Miss Annie, I keep hearing that song “Send the fire, send the wind.” It has to be… we have to have it. Let’s see that while we sing it. The wind of the Spirit… the rain, the fire, the oil bringing healing and restoration and wholeness, setting the captives free, the downtrodden, lifting, lifting…

Annie led group in “Send Your Fire”…

Pastor Ray…

When you started singing… we listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying. Kind of like what you’ve always said when you’re at the sink in your house and you hear what He’s saying. I thought, “What are you saying?” I heard back, “What are you doing?” Maybe that’s a question that is being asked in these days. What are we doing? Are we truly believing? Are we truly in expectation? Are we truly bowing before heaven? Are we truly expecting the wind and the rain and the fire and the oil? Are we just… is it a necessity with us? What are we doing? Lord, we cannot do it without You. We cannot! That’s why it’s so necessary for Your precious Spirit to be being filled more and more and again and again… going beyond… going further… unlocking things that were locked up… commanding and demanding the enemy to take his hands away in Jesus’ name… any form or touch of pressure… go! for it’s the peace of God that passes all understanding and we follow after the peace.

Annie…

When you said, “What are you doing?” right away, I saw the scripture where Elijah was hiding in the cave. And the Lord came and said, “What are you doing?” He said, “They’ve torn down Your altars. They’ve killed all Your prophets. I’m the only one who is left.” It was sort of like he was saying, “What do you think I’m doing? I’m hiding.” But we could all feel that way right now, couldn’t we? But He showed him His presence. There was the earthquake. There was the wind. There was the fire. And then there was the still small voice. So when we’re in an earthquake and the wind is blowing like a hurricane, I’m not talking about the God wind. And the fires of the Devil are burning. The fires from hell are burning, there’s a still small voice of God. And He puts us in the cleft of the rock and we become still in His presence. And then we hear what He’s saying and it brings peace. No matter what is blowing around us, His holy presence gives us so much peace. I’ve been abiding in His peace. There’s stuff like winds and fires all around us, aren’t there? Every one of us have different things… we’re each in our boat and there’s always storms that are trying to rock our boat, right? But we take Him into the boat with us and no matter what hurricane we’re in, there is so much peace. Thank You, Jesus, for who You are. Your peace guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We worship You, Lord.
