Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Brother DJ…

Good morning, everybody. Welcome to Thursday morning prayer.

This is a day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month…

I heard this month is Pastor Appreciation Month. Did you know that? I just heard that on the radio. So we’ll be praying for our pastors around the globe, and we’ll be praying for the pastors in the Living Word church and the pastors in the Twin Cities. If you know any of their names, call them out. I know a few of them. And the pastors around the globe, because it is Pastor Appreciation Month.

I was reading about pastors. It said that a lot of times, many pastors get discouraged. They get discouraged because they’re not being appreciated. They think that every pastor needs encouragement. We all need encouragement. But especially, pastors. People say, “Well he’s a pastor. You know what? He is just fine.”

But we know that they’re like us. They get up in the morning. They have to seek the Lord. They have to pray. They have to do business. They have to do finances about this big church… you know heat, air conditioning, electricity, all of that… They have concerns just like everybody else about the building, about the people. Then they also care about their sheep. We are the sheep! They are the pastors.

So we will pray for them this morning since I heard on the radio say Pastor Appreciation Month. So whenever you see any pastor out there somewhere, if you want to bless them… they would love it! It’s not the amount or something. You could bless them with a card to say a simple message: “Thank you. You preached a good message.” Just thanking them.

If the pastor goes and the church goes, if the church goes, community goes. If the community goes, the city goes down. We need to keep the church up and going, leading people coming in for healing, health, restorations, spiritual guidance… everything! Church is important and pastors are highly esteemed in the eyes of the Lord.

Prayer…

So let’s start praying for pastors and then we’ll enter into worship.

Father, we lift up our pastors. We lift our Pastor Mac, Pastor Lynne, Pastor Jim, Pastor Folu, Pastor Ken, Pastor Heather, Pastor Nick… and I lift up all the other pastors. Let’s pray for a few minutes in the spirit, and then we’ll take care of the other needs and prayer.

We pray for the neighboring pastors. We are one in the Spirit.

Do you know any other pastors’ name? If so, lift them up.

Father, we ask you to strengthen all these pastors. I can’t remember all their names. I ask that you strengthen all our pastors at Living Word Church and out there in the Twin Cities… Minneapolis/St. Paul.

We lift up all the pastors in Minnesota. We ask that you strengthen them by your Spirit in their inner man that the joy of the Lord would rest upon them.
Father, we ask you in the name of Jesus that you anoint their head with oil.
Our dear pastors… anoint their heads with oil until their cup overflows.
Thank you, Father, that you meet all the pastors’ needs… their spiritual needs, financial needs, relationship needs, health needs.
They are the shepherds of this church. Rebuke! Rebuke! Rebuke the sickness and disease and infirmity. The work of the evil one. We rebuke it from our pastors. All the pastors… I mentioned only 5, 6, 7. I think we have maybe 20 pastors. As the church grows, it will have more and more pastors. Thank you, Father, you’re preparing many men’s and women’s heart to become a pastor and serve in the Living Word Christian Center and other churches around the Twin Cities.

We worship you. We worship your holy name.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart…

Today is Thursday, October the 3rd. The word comes Proverb Three. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” With all our heart! “And lean not on unto our own understanding. But in all your ways, acknowledge him and he will direct our path.”

Thank you, Father. In all our ways, we acknowledge you this morning. What is that?

Do you have to go buy a house? Acknowledge Him!
Do you have to go shopping? Acknowledge Him!
Do you have to go buy a car? Acknowledge Him!
Do you have to go to court with attorneys? Acknowledge Him!

Which way should I go? “In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.”

The Holy Spirit will direct your path. We just say “We acknowledge you. We acknowledge you, Lord. Which way we should go? Should we go left? Should we go right?” He said He will command His angels concerning us to guide us, to lead us in the way we should go. We will not dash our foot against the stone. We will not make wrong decision. We’ll make right decision.

If you keep reading Proverbs 3, He just wants to be acknowledged. We have to make decisions. He says, “Lean not to your own understanding.” He didn’t say don’t use your understanding. Just don’t lean on it. Ask Him. Ask and it shall be given. Knock and the door shall open. Seek and we’ll find Him. Seek, and He will tell us which way to go.

We are praying in the Spirit. We are seeking the Lord. This morning, we have prayed for our pastors. We continue to worship, seek, and find.

Honor the Lord…

Next verse says, “Honor the Lord with your first fruits and your substance.” And guess what happened? Your barn will be filled with plenty. Your works will overflow. Proverb three. Honor! If some say, “I don’t like that tithing word.” Just honor… Honor the Lord with your first fruits and your giving and offering. And He says He promises our barn will be filled. Our needs will be met.

Prayer for elections…

We have been asked to pray about the elections. Everybody is praying. And on the top, more prayer for the elections.

Trump and assassination attempts…

I heard from somebody who said President Trump had two assassination attempts. And somebody say there’s one more strike. One more coming. And I said, “Why do you think this way?” He said in baseball sports, one, two, and three… third strike. You are out! You heard that? Baseball 1, 2, 3. And somebody say there’ll be another assassination attack or something like this.

I thought about it. The baseball. 1, 2, 3, strike! You are out! He had two, but he is not out. I thought about it because I go to a lot of baseball games. Sports, NFL games. Many times, I watch a lot. I say “Not so. One, two third with the home run.” We are believing no more strike, but the home run for President Trump.

We don’t want any candidate to get hurt. We cover Vice President Harris in the blood of Jesus, President Trump in the blood of Jesus. There will be no attack on her, and there is no attack on him. We canceled the third number three.

You know what’s kind of strange. Today is the third. 1, 2, 3. Strike. No! One, two, home run! On this 3rd of October, we are covering them. They will go through this election healthy. They will go through this election safe. Father, we pray for both of them. The Bible says we all run the race. We are all running the race. They are to be President. One of whom will be a president. Not both. The Bible says we all run the race, but run in a such way that we win. They’re both running in such a way, but one will win.

Sister Cindy…

Going along with your analogy about the baseball, I heard “SAFE.” You know, safe like you just said it. Safe. He’s safe. And the umpire is peace and the umpire makes the final call. And so we thank you, Father, that peace as we were praying for the pastors who lead, who are accountable for our souls, that they would do it with joy. And not feel the burden and the pressure or whatever. But that goes for every office of authority. That Biden and Harris. Every office of authority, we declare safe. We thank you, Father, for the peace of God umpiring every decision. Your hand is steering the heart of every office of authority in the peace of God. So we declare over this last end time election season. It is a peaceful season. No harm shall come. No striking out. But, Father, we thank you. We call safe in Jesus’ name.
