Morning Prayer Summary for Thursday, May 23, 2019

Mary led group in worship singing about the blood of Jesus…

Pastor Ray shared…

The blood of Jesus is alive and working. There is power and authority in the blood. Thank You for the blood of Jesus. We reverence the name of Jesus, and we will never take it in vain. We’ve been made righteous through the blood.

I like how Paul in his letter from prison in Phil. 3:10 said,

“[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body]. 12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own. 13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead…”

That’s pressing. There is a press! And these are not times to be casual about it. Just sit back. We press. Verse 14 tells us what he did.

“I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.” (Amp.)

Then over in the fourth chapter, it says…

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything…”

No fretting! Have you ever fretted about something? Some people fret more than others. But we’re not supposed to be fretting! We don’t have to have any anxiety. Period! People say, “I’m so anxious about that.” No! I’m not fretting. I’m not having any anxiety about anything.

“…but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

Let’s just close our eyes for a moment. Thank You, Lord, for the peace, for the freedom. Thank You! Out! anxieties, questions, doubts. Get out! Leave now, in Jesus’ name. For we are in Christ Jesus and He is  in us and we will never, never look down. We’re looking up. And we’re pressing ahead. We will always contend for those things that He put within us. I’m declaring this over all of us by faith this morning. We will always contend and press ahead for the things He’s called us to. For He has called us individually. Amen. Each one of us, separately. He’s put that call in us. Equipped us. Changing us all the time. But then too, thank You that You gave us a company of believers, other members of Your family. For we are all children of the King of Kings. God’s family! How can we lose? We’ll continue to look up. Thank You, Father, for Your plans. You have set us up for victory, not defeat. You set us up to live in that peace that passes understanding.

Mary, let’s sing about the blood again. Some churches try to leave out the blood in their songs. They stopped talking about the blood. But those of us know what that shed blood did for us, we make even a bigger deal about the blood. For in that blood, you, me, we’ve all been made overcomes because He overcame.

Mary led group singing about the blood of Jesus…

Pastor Ray continued…

Mary, from your heart, take the blood and pray over our nation. We must keep praying for our nation. We must cover our nation with the blood. These are critical times. There are some things that are 911 situations right now. So we must keep the blood covering our leaders.

Mary sang a prayer over nation…

♪ There’s power in Your blood… wonder working power… working over this nation… it’s working over this nation… working from the north from the south from the east to the west… the precious blood is cleansing, it’s cleansing… it’s reaching… it’s changing… turning things around… touching, touching, reaching deep inside the Capital… the blood is flowing through the Capital… and all around Washington DC… the blood of Jesus is reaching every crevice, touching every room, flooding… flooding… flooding… the blood of Jesus over the President… over each mind… over each heart of his family and cabinet members… the blood of Jesus over those in authority… the blood of Jesus turning things around… making things right… restoring, restoring, restoring, restoring… the blood of Jesus is reaching the small towns… small towns… the small towns… every community up in the mountains, down in the valleys… Your blood, Jesus, in the reservations… in the allies… in the prisons… high rises… in the schools… the blood of Jesus in the mayors’ offices… in the offices… the blood of Jesus is flowing… it’s going… it’s changing… rearranging… everywhere… to the farmers to the cattlemen… the ranches… ♪

Pastor Ray…

Let’s begin to pray in other tongues. One thing that Mary sang about that sticked out to me is the small communities.

Prayed…

Town to town to town… You know the ones, Lord… You know them… by Your Spirit, move… deep in the woods, Father… all those deep in the woods… and all those deep in the swamps, Father… all those that are hiding… those that are deep in the woods and the swamps and in the forests and in the mountains, Father… way up in Alaska, Father… the far reaches… all of those, Father… Father, You look for each one… You care for each one… O eternity in their hearts, Father… You fill the longing, Father… with Yourself… You show them who You are… touch the hearts of the people… up in those towers… up, up, up, up in the headquarters… up, up, up… move by Your Spirit, Lord, over those heads of companies… the CEOs… an awakening today, Lord… You fill the hunger… You show Yourself… open up those ways… those doors, Lord… open up their eyes, Lord, that they might see… Your kingdom coming to them…

Pastor Ray continued…

I sense a drawing when we began to pray over those smaller communities. I sensed a drawing to the churches. And many of those churches still have bells. And the bells were ringing and the people were moving. The people were coming. The people were entering into the assemblies, drawn by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Then I saw myself going into a high tower. I don’t know what city it was but I got in the elevator, went all the way to the top. And exited out of the elevator, walked down a hallway and went into a room. There was a meeting going on of people in high places. Without them seeing me, I went around the room and laid hands on every individual around that table. Just covering them with the precious blood of the Lamb. Bringing the presence into the center of that room. And the changes and the things that God had planned for them. It wasn’t just a company. It was a headquarters for many different branches, or companies. I just went round the room. There were men and women in the room. “Be whole, be healthy, be open… eyes see, hearts softened… in Jesus’ name” I went all the way around to the one that was speaking, the one that was directing, the one that was making decisions that would be known around the world. I put my hands on his back like this and called forth the purpose and plan and will of God almighty. And that through this man of authority, words would come forth that would change nations. Words that would bring revelation, bring insight into what the Word has said. Not just about the United States of America but about the nations, all over the earth.

Right now, let the Holy Spirit show you a nation in your heart. Mary, sing again while we take a minute to let the Holy Spirit give us each a nation to lift up. We ask You, Holy Spirit, to give us a nation in our hearts that we could lift them up before You. Words have been spoken, I believe it was brother Copeland that declared years ago that whole nations would come to God in a day.

Mary began to sing about the blood…

Pastor Ray continued…

I believe you have a nation. Maybe you have more than one. I got two. We’re going to pray in the Spirit. You lift the nation or nations He gave you. I will too. We’re praying concerning the light and glory of God or an awakening to come to a nation. A change in direction, bringing those that are in darkness into the light. We’ll take that word that was spoken years ago, suddenly a whole nation will move into the light.

Group members began to pray about their nations…

We plead the blood of Jesus over the borders of these nations… over the leaders of those nations… open up those ways… a change in the atmosphere… an alignment in Jesus’ name… open, open, open doors… we pray over the churches in these nations… the pastors… all over the earth… change… revival… an awakening to God… hearts changed…

Mary, sing about change coming to the nations.

Mary began to sing about change…

♪ Spirit, blow winds of change… blow over every nation… blow, Spirit, blow… winds of change… reaching hearts… reaching cities… O Spirit, blow… winds of change… penetrate in the darkest places… Spirit, blow… winds of change… penetrate … over each nation… thank You, thank You… Spirit, blow…

Pastor Ray continued…

I’m looking at Philippians. There’s a scripture here. One time when Sandy and I were in France in an apartment. We were there doing some meetings for Pastor Marie. Pastor Marie and her sister, Elizabeth, are both pastors. The name of the church is “Good News Church.” When I was there, I just opened up my Bible and read Phil. 4:3, “And I exhort you too, [my] genuine yokefellow, help these [two women to keep on cooperating], for they have toiled along with me in [the spreading of] the good news (the Gospel).” I’m like, “What!”

Pastor Marie and her sister came to the apartment to see us. I said, “I found you in the Bible. You’re in the Word.” I can’t go by that scripture without lifting them up. I want to do that for a few minutes. The church is in Nice, France. For years, 14 or so, they’ve been meeting in this hotel, and that hotel. It’s miraculous that they’ve grown the way they have grown without having a permanent place where they could call home. Just in the past couple months, they found a building. They signed some papers for the building. But they have to go through the city. There are a lot of things to go through. There are people that live up above the building that don’t want a church there. But they believe that’s the place they’re to be. They’ll have to do a lot of work to it. It was a printing place.

Prayed…

Father, thank You. We declare over this church that it is a Good News Church. And the good news is about to increase. And the increase will come through the power and authority of the Holy Spirit working through these two women of God. There’s another Pastor, Pastor Mark. We lift up the three of them. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and over all of the decisions that are to come. We declare things will work out right. Connections and relationships will be made and the favor of God will go before this church. This church is stepping into greater days. Increase. Momentum and power. Authority. And more and more of the lost in that city… not just in that city alone. Because they’re begin to go out over the nation. Souls coming out of the darkness and into the light, in Jesus’ name. We agree together. We stand with them. We pray for them to have strength. By the power of the Holy Spirit working through them. We believe the nation of France who has less than 2% Christians, that those numbers are changing. They’re on the increase. Beginning in Nice, it has begun. It’ll pick up. More and more of the lost will come in.
