Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Worship leader…
Good morning, everybody. I want to read Psalm 63 in the Passion translation. “Oh God, of my life. I’m love sick for you. In this weary wilderness, I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more. With cravings in my heart that can’t be described such yearning grips my soul for you. My God, I’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory.”
That’s what we want this morning. Hunger and thirst for Him. Drinking more of Him.
Sister Barb prayed…
There is no one like you. We lay everything down today. We lay down our ideas. We lay down our thoughts, we lay down our intentions before you at your feet.
We submit ourselves to you. We yield ourselves… our members to you today to be used by you.
That’s your highest and best would be completed today in Jesus’ name…
Father, you have a target for us today, and I thank you by your grace and by your spirit, we hit the bullseye in Jesus’ name, that our words and our prayers are not going in the wrong direction, Father, but we’re right in line with your Spirit.
We look to you, the author and the finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured.
And so, Father, we continue here in this life to endure by your grace… by your strength, Lord, that we walk out your purpose and your plan, in Jesus’ name, in your strength and your power.
We can speak forth life…
Who’s grateful today? Oh, to be able to gather together with the saints, to glorify and magnify His name… Who is grateful? Hallelujah! That He’s given us a voice, that we can speak forth life, that we can speak forth truth today into the earth. That today we can change things by the very words of our mouth.
Thank you, Father, that we are fully equipped, in Jesus’ name. We don’t lack in any good things… any gift.
We thank you for your anointing today, that burden-removing, yolk-destroying anointing that is here today… to deliver, to restore, to make whole, and nothing missing and nothing broken for your people, for your church.
I thank you, Father, that you are perfecting your bride. You are bringing her more and more… that we would be ready, when the time comes…
It’s our pleasure to serve you…
It is His good pleasure to see you prosper. I just thought about Chick-fil-A. “It’s my pleasure.” You know… Chick-fil-A. “It’s our pleasure to serve you.” How much more the Heavenly Father, it’s His pleasure to prosper you. It’s His pleasure. It is His joy… the joy of His heart to see you prosper in this life, to see you step out in faith, to see you step out according to His Word, when He speaks to you.
It is the pleasure of His heart to see His blessing flow in your life. It is His pleasure to see you receive all that He has for you. Everything that Jesus paid for. Glory to God.
We thank you today, Father, that you are for us, not against us. That you stick closer than a brother… that we are never alone. Hallelujah. But we can trust and lean on you. The very Holy Spirit that you put on the inside of us, the comforter, we can rest assured that you are always with us… always there to encourage us… always there to strengthen us.
The enemy will not prosper against us…
And today we cast every care upon you. Every single one. Anything that would try to hinder us today, we cast those cares away and we say to the enemy that he will not prosper. You will not prosper against us today. You will not distract us. We refuse to worry. Today we cast it away in Jesus’ name.
Because what does worrying do? Nothing for you. It does not add one cupid to your stature. If He feeds the birds, will He not feed you? Glory to God. Better clothed than the lilies of the valley than all the beauty that He created. He loves you so much more.
Give us a revelation of your love…
Father, we ask today for a revelation of that love that has been shed abroad in our hearts by your Holy Spirit, that a revelation would come today that every one of your people would know, comprehend, understand the depth of that love, how much that you love your people, that they would not fear, that they would not worry. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in the political realm. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in the economy. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your family. You don’t have to worry because God has got you. He’s got you! Hallelujah. He’s holding you fast in His hand. He’s got you.
Psalm 91…
Psalm 91 says whoever dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He’s my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Surely He will save you from the fowler snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear. You will not fear the terror of night nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, 10,000 at your right hand. But it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say the Lord is my refuge and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you. No disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra, and you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
You are our refuge. You are our strength. We trust in you.
Right now, you are in us and we are in you. We are one. We are in that secret place of the Most High. I thank you that nothing can touch us. Nothing of the enemy can touch us. No arrow can penetrate that protection.
I thank you that you’ve assigned your angels to assist us.
First Timothy chapter two…
Now, there’s another scripture that talks about our peace. First Timothy chapter two. And it says, “I urge then first of all that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority that we may live peacefully and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
Lifting up all those in authority…
So this morning, all people, that’s a big category. So we can go anywhere with that one. I want to start by lifting up those who are in authority and I would like to start here with the church. Let’s pray for pastors. And if you’re watching online and you attend a different church, pray for your pastors. So we want to start there, but there are many positions of authority. So as you pray, if you get something different. You know, Pastor Lynne used to say, “We’re praying about one thing. It’s like coming up different sides of the mountain. I see this side that’s snowy and you’re coming up the other side that’s sunny and full of trees. And it’s not wrong. We’re praying on the same subject, but you’re getting something different by the Holy Spirit. So you go ahead and pray that whatever you get by the Holy Ghost.”
Father, we lift up this church. Living Word Christian Center, and we stand with all the other churches, for all pastors. It’s been a time of challenge since that attack of the enemy back with Covid. I know that it’s been a challenge for many ministries. And so, Father, we lift them up to you in Jesus’ name. That you would give the pastors direction, that you would cause them to see the direction they need to go, that you would give them that instruction by your Spirit, in Jesus’ mighty name.
I thank you, Father, just as we were singing this morning that they would lay down all their plans, so that they could hear clearly and take up that only which is yours, Father… into that quiver, they would only put the arrows that you anointed, Father… that none would be choked out in Jesus’ name. None would die off in the name of Jesus, but each one would be reestablished in you by the power of your Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ mighty name.
Father, for there is a grace that you have put upon them to stand in that office and that anointing upon them to operate there in Jesus’ name, in your wisdom and authority. We ask that you open their eyes, those things they have not been aware of, those things they have not perceived or seen, let those blinders be removed that they can see clearly now in Jesus’ name… whatever they need to do, Father, that they would do it. Whatever you speak to them to do by the Spirit, that they would respond and do it in Jesus’ name. Any adjustments that need to be made, they are made in the name of Jesus.
So increase can come, so restoration can come so that you can have the church the way you want her to be, Lord… Yes, prospering, unhindered, unencumbered, free to build churches, more than enough, fully supplied for the good work… not the plans of man but the plans of God.
We call forth the plan of God in Jesus’ name for every church… the plan, the plan. Get on track. Come into alignment, right on course.
Prayer to be an example…
Father, that we should be an example to the world of abundance, of the more than enough. We should be a witness to how amazing you are, that you are the abundantly above exceeding God. That does far above what we can imagine or think.
Prayer for those moving into new positions…
You have chosen each one of us, Father, so we get in our place today in Jesus’ name. Father, those that need to be moved into different positions, you move them now in Jesus’ name, that every person would be in their right place, connected to the right ministry, connected to the right people, the body functioning and operating the way you intended her to. Nothing missing. Nothing out of place. Operating in the gifts, ministering to one another, encouraging one another, prophesying healing, delivering…
Yes, Lord, so that we can move as a body, we can move in these last days in power, in a mighty moving force, empowered by your Spirit.
Prayer for the nation’s leaders…
Father, we lift up the leaders of this nation today in Jesus’ name. We pray the same things, that their eyes would be opened to the truth. That deception would be removed in Jesus’ name, that the enemy would not have a hold on their minds, that they would do what is right and just according to you… that this nation would rise up in your glory, Father God, that this nation would be a light to the earth, that this nation will continue to pour out to the world your life, your salvation, your anointing… that we would not be bound up by the enemy.
For this is the age, for the move of your Spirit, a great and mighty move in this nation. A great and mighty move in our government.
Yes, all of those base things, Father God, destroyed in Jesus’ name. Those things that are trying to exalt themselves above the Word of God, Father God. Those things that defile, those things that destroy, the darkness… we give you place, Father. As the body of Christ, we give you place in this nation. Have your way here, Lord. Cleanse this nation, Father…
Prayer over the enemy’s strongholds…
Those places, Father, that have been strongholds of the enemy, working… Yes, Father, those places that the enemy has held… we speak to you today in Jesus’ name, “You will not operate in this nation. This is our nation. We stand our feet on this ground. It belongs to us. It is our possession and we will not let it go down the wrong path in Jesus’ name.”
All those in authority that are operating with intent of evil, we command them to be removed from their positions of authority in the political realm, in the media, in the entertainment industry, in the education system… those that would promote ideas that are contrary to the Word of God, that they would be removed from their positions of authority and that place where they can speak those wrong things, those wrong ideas.
It’s time for change…
It is time for change. It’s time for change in the church. It’s time for change in the nation. Each one of us doing our part every day, yielding ourselves to you and to your purpose.
So we call up the body today. We call you up. Come up, step up, take hold. Do your part.
No, no, no. Don’t give up. Don’t stop. Don’t be immobilized by the enemy for you are empowered by the Spirit.
Take hold today of that which God has put on the inside of you to fulfill.
Yes, Lord, there is great agitation in the spirit. There’s great agitation. Ha ha ha. That’s right, we’re not letting the enemy have his way. We’re not letting him have his plan. Just like when Jesus went to the cross and he thought, “Ooh, I won!” The enemy was defeated. He had a plan, but he was defeated. He was rejoicing, ho, ho. But Jesus went down and he took those keys to death, hell and the grave. He defeated the enemy. And so it shall go in these days, he will be defeated. He will remain under our feet in the name of Jesus. We will not let him rise up. We will not let him have his way.
Prayer for things to come into alignment…
Oh yes. Order, order, order. We call everything into order today. Come into alignment with the plan of God in Jesus’ name.
It’s special assignments now in Jesus’ name. Right now, you are giving special assignments to your people.
Receive those assignments of the Holy Spirit today. He might have you pray over some situation. He might have you speak over a certain position of authority. He might have you speak into that thing. Take up that assignment by the Holy Spirit. We need your supply. Everyone, every joint supply. No one greater than the other. Everyone being used by the Holy Spirit.
Prayer to remove ourselves from fear…
Eyes to see… We see it, Father. We see it. Yes, we remove ourselves today. We make a decision today to remove ourselves from the fear of the world, from any kind of anxiety or trepidation. We remove ourselves today just like Britain, the UK removed themselves like Brexit. They made a decision. “I’m not participating. I choose today not to participate in that.” And we choose not to participate in any of the darkness, any of the wickedness, any of the lies, any of the scare tactics… we remove ourselves. We will not participate in your deceptions.
