Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, November 6, 2019

Ms. Annie led us singing Yes, Jesus Love Me

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah. Thank You, Lord.

If thoughts are coming, if you are being harassed by the enemy… then praise God, Hallelujah! We praise You! We praise the Lord! We lift up Your name! Glorify the King of kings and the Lord of all lords! We worship and honor and praise Him! Praise You, Lord! Praise You, Lord!

What does that do? It stills the voice of the enemy. Hallelujah.

The following is an excerpt from The Resting Place by Bill Johnson:

Charles Finney

Charles Finney is one of the great revivalists in American history…He writes of this unusual experience in his own autobiography.

He entered a factory one morning after breakfast. In a room filled with young ladies working on their weaving machines, looms, and spinning devices, two in particular stood out to him. They looked a bit agitated, but seemed to cover it with laughter. He said nothing, but walked closer, noticing that one was trembling so badly that she couldn’t mend her thread. When he got to within about 8 to 10 feet they burst out in tears and slumped down. In moments nearly the whole roomful of workers was in tears. The owner, who was yet unconverted himself, recognized that this was a divine moment and ordered that his factory be shut down to give his workers a chance to come to Christ. A mini-revival broke out, which lasted several days. Nearly the entire mill was converted during this time. It all started with a man upon whom the Spirit of God loved to rest. And so without words a room full of workers came under the conviction of the Holy Spirit and a revival was born.”

William Seymour

The Spirit began to fall in L.A., as people were radically filled, and walked out into the streets speaking in tongues. Crowds began to grow at these home meetings, where Seymour was living with a host family. Before long, they were preaching from the front porch as people filled the streets to listen. Eventually, they moved into an old horse stable at 312 Azusa Street. It was in this stable 1906 that the Pentecostal movement was officially born.

People would fall over and weep. They would speak in tongues. They would laugh, jerk, dance, and shout. They would wait on the Lord for hours, sometimes saying nothing. Seymour would often preach from his knees.

“No one could possibly record all the miracles that occurred there,” writes charismatic historian Roberts Liardon. John G. Lake said of William Seymour that, He had more of God in his life than any man I had ever met up to that time.”

Prayer lasted all day and all night. Firemen were even dispatched to Azusa street, because people saw a fire, which was actually just the visible glory of God resting on the exterior of the building. Similar occurrences have happened in a number of revivals, like the Indonesian revival, as recorded by Mel Tari in the 1970s, where firemen were also dispatched to a “glory fire” that was visible to everyone around.

Missionaries began coming to Azusa Street from around the world to catch the fire. People would fall over, get saved and begin speaking in tongues blocks away from the building, even though no one prayed for them, and they had no idea what was going on in the Azusa mission. Parishioners would also hit the streets, knocking on doors with little bottles of oil and asking to pray for the sick.

Seymour sought first and foremost to cultivate the presence of God in his meetings. If someone felt led, they would stand up and begin to pray or preach. If the anointing did not seem to be on a particular speaker, that person would sometimes get a gentle tap on the shoulder to hush up. Truly, the Spirit of God was the leader of those meetings.

Pastor Ray…

More! We have been calling for more. We are expecting more. We are focusing on the presence and the absolute importance of the manifested presence of the Holy Spirit. In our lives, moving through us, those rivers of living water moving out all around us just like in that factory. No words were spoken, natural words anyway. But Charles Finney, the presence rested on him, came through him, and the anointing broke those people down and enabled them to come to the Lord. Thank You.

Ms. Annie led us singing We Welcome You

Pastor Ray…

While we are doing that, I am seeing the hallways in the White House, all of the doorways, and the different meeting rooms, the Oval Office, and all of the different areas. And then I am seeing Pastor Paula White walking down those hallways. She may not be speaking in tongues out loud, but I know the Spirit of God is moving through her and under her breath I know she is speaking in other tongues.

So, we come up alongside her, behind her, and declare the plan and the purpose that You’ve called her to do in that White House, wherever she goes, whatever meeting she is in, we lift her up! We plead the blood of Jesus over her, over her feet, where she is called to walk in Jesus’ name.

We are praying for wisdom, praying for direction, divine revelation in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah! Oh my! She goes covered by the blood of Jesus. She moves under the authority and power of Holy Spirit of the Living God! Hallelujah! Thank You for more, an increase! Be refreshed! Be being filled! Overcoming, overflowing! Oooh an abundance in every area!

Oooh Hallelujah, that that name would be lifted up, the name that is above every other name! Jesus is Lord! Jesus is Lord! Hallelujah!

Just for a few minutes, we are going to be still, just to get that picture in our hearts, kind of a Selah.

Ms. Annie plays the keyboard

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah, what I keep hearing in those notes, as our hearts go there for our country, the United States was, “there was no way.” But there’s been a way that has been opened up and it’s coming forth where the words from Chronicles are beginning to manifest in a greater way. “If My people humble themselves and pray, I will heal their land.

From no way to the right way, from wrong turns to right turns, from wrong steps to right steps, from wrong words to right words. And there is more, sayeth the Lord. There are many more changes that are still to come. Many things have happened. Many changes have taken place. Church, do not stop! Do not quit! Do not give up! But contend!

Thank You. Thank You for it, Father.

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pastor Ray…

You know how the Bible tells us and makes it so clear that we have overcome through that precious blood. We overcome because He overcame. But that blood is working still the same. It’s working today. It’s working on our behalf. We see our nation covered in that precious blood of the Lamb and say “Jesus is Lord over America.” We are saying the blood of Jesus is covering every part, every state, all of the governors, all of those in positions of authority state by state by state by state – covered in the precious blood.

Ms. Annie led us out singing Oh the Blood of Jesus

Pastor Ray…

Father, we come today in agreement and plead the blood of Jesus over our Pastors Mac and Lynne, pray the blood covering over this ministry Living Word, St. Paul, and Rogers. We cover every member, everyone that calls this their home. We plead that covering over all of the families, over all those that come, that are changed, rearranged. The blood of Jesus over each and every one!

We cover this church, every staff member… plead the blood over every department in Jesus’ name. We say everything is working in the right way and it shall all come to pass, the vision shall be so! And the finances, we are declaring today that we have exited out of “barely getting by” into the “Land of More than Enough!” We are locked into it! The blood of Jesus is behind us. Changes, turns, new, the presence of God. Hallelujah. Amen.
