Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Ken…
Good morning, everyone. Oh, happy day. Happy Monday, right? Woo. The joy of the Lord is our strength; His mercies are new each morning. I’m praying that y’all receive a fill up today. Praying I receive a fill up today.
More and more confident in His faithfulness…
The more I journey, the longer I live, I am more and more confident in the faithfulness in the one whom I serve. And I believe you are too, more and more confident, not only in Him but in His power to deliver.
I’m not going to preach, so don’t get excited. I just want to say that prayer is truly the avenue through which God delivers on His promises. It’s really clear. I’ll read some scriptures after we worship that talk about the power of prayer. And in particular, the fact that before something happens in the heavenly realm from God’s side of things, something must happen in the earth. For us to move some things, we have to say some things. For some things to be delivered regarding the promises of God and the power of God, somebody has to ask. The Bible admonishes us…
To ask that we may receive.
To seek that we may find.
To knock that it might be opened unto us.
Where the rubber meets the road…
In the gospel of Matthew where Jesus recounts that or it’s recorded that He said that. It’s not just implying far-out ethereal kind of spiritual things. When it comes to asking, seeking, and knocking, God had in mind your needs, your situation, your family, your finances, your ministry, your next steps, your decisions that you need to make today and this week. The gospel is a bottom line where the rubber meets the road type of supply toward us.
Prayer makes a difference…
So whatever it is, prayer makes a difference. Whatever it is in your life, prayer brings God’s power and ability onto the scene. Amen. Hallelujah. Just beginning to agree… for some of us, God is just leading us into agreement with what He has said about us and what should be true for us. Just beginning to agree with that and…
Say the same thing God has already said about your situation.
Say the same thing that He said about Israel, about America.
That we will and we are seeing awakening and revival and a great saving of souls to wrap up the end of the age. He wants us to be a people who walk with Him in accuracy. That means we must be a people of the Word, because His Word is what inspires. His Word is what causes faith to rise on the inside of us so that we can declare what He has said, what has been prophesied, what He’s inspiring us to say. Amen.
His supernatural technology…
As I said last week, He’s wanting to bring forth supernatural technology to affect change in the earth, not just in your life. Yes, in your life, in your situation, but in the earth as a whole through us.
What is that supernatural technology?
It’s the principle of decree.
It’s the power of prayer.
Your words matter…
So as you think about this coming week, as you embark upon a Monday, know that your words matter. Your voice matters in the earth. Your agreement in His Word and what He has said is helpful. God has ordained that what He does in the earth be done through His church.
It’s done through the church…
Yes, Jesus is the head, but we are the body. And so if something’s to be transacted, if something is to be released, if something is to be stopped, if something is to be set in motion, it’s done through the church. You and I are the church!
We are temples of the Holy Ghost…
I’ve often referred to it, but the Bible says we are temples of the Holy Ghost—temples of God’s divine enablement and power and flow. He wants it to come through you and through me today. And you know, sometimes for me, I’m reminded of this power and this opportunity just when I see answers in my own life, just in small ways even. I’m like, I notice. “Okay, I was praying about that. There it is.”
I was just praying in the spirit this weekend about some things, and I saw it unfold before my eyes this weekend. It was a small thing, but I connected the dots and I saw God’s hand at work, His favor at work in my life. Not because I’m good. No. I can’t be too good or too bad because I’m in Christ. I reflect His accomplishments. I reflect His righteousness. I cannot be good enough. And neither can you. But aren’t you glad that Jesus was good enough for all of us so we can find our identity in Him? We are in Christ. When we called upon His name, we stepped into Jesus, into Christ.
You are “en-Christed”…
You’re not encrusted. You’re en-Christed, as I say. You’re in Him and as a result of being in Him, I don’t care if you messed up on your way here or before you logged on this morning, you messed up or made a mistake over the weekend, take advantage of the blood! We’re going to sing about the blood this morning. And the blood shouts and declares on this Monday morning that you are righteous, that you have been made right in His sight, that you are acceptable and beloved. He’s forgiven you.
So get over whatever that is that you’re beating yourself up about. Let it go. And by faith, humble yourself under His hand, receive His mercy, receive His forgiveness, receive His blood, reflect His Word and declare “For He who knew no sin became sin, that I might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
You are robed in righteousness…
If you’re in Christ, you are in His righteousness. You are robed and clothed with righteousness, with the rightness of God. And when He looks down and sees you like He saw Jesus, He sees you as well pleasing, the apple of His eye, the delight of His heart. He’s pleased with you and smiling over you today because you are wrapped in the fullness of redemption and all that Jesus accomplished on our behalf.
Why, of course, He goes to work to answer your prayer.
Why of course, He responds to your faith decree.
Why of course, He works to bless you.
Because you’re His beloved son and beloved daughter. His body, once again, through whom He delights to bring forth His goodness and glory into the earth, but also into yours and my life.
Prayed…
So, Father, we thank you this morning for your faithfulness, for the beauty of the work of redemption. We are just stirred in our hearts and so glad that we’re forgiven, just the fact that we’re forgiven and you’re no longer angry toward us. But you are in love with us, and we are in love with you today, Father. And we thank you that we are the brightness, the outshining-ness, the showing forth of your redemptive work through Jesus.
Word of knowledge came forth—The delay is over…
The enemy is in the earth, of course. And he brings confusion and obstacles to bear at times. But I just have to say this. I just sense this in my spirit, that the blood of Jesus… one of the things that it provides is a way. And specifically… just receive this if this applies to you. You agree with this, if this is an answer or a direction for you.
But I sense in my heart, God is saying, you’re not going to have to wait any longer. The delays are over. That the answers and the direction are speedily coming through to you. The direction that you seek, the turn that you’re searching for, the door that you were expecting to be opened by now, it’s all coming through to you now. The answers. So look up and agree with Me, the Spirit of God would say, join yourself with the certainty and the faith found in My Word, and say what I’m saying, says the Spirit of God. Say the same thing over your life, over the landscape of your future, over the situation in your home. And simply say, “I agree with you, Lord, that I’ll have it and I’ll receive it and I’ll walk in it even as you’ve described it in your promises.”
For the delay is over. The day of answers has come. So even as you go forth into this Monday and this coming week, expect and don’t be surprised when answers show up and your eyes are opened and direction comes through to you and you say, “Look, there it is! Praise God. I was expecting it.”
Answers, specific direction, new coordinates that you’re going to be heading into now. Coordinates that God is going to orient your life toward for new, bigger and better things. For the future is bright. For the future is bright and hope still abounds and God is still on the throne. So be sure to rejoice and celebrate for today is the day a breakthrough and the day when the answers certainly are coming through to you. In Jesus’ name.
