Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist

Brother DJ…

I read this morning about worshiping. Jehoshaphat had an army come against him. He was threatened by enemies. The Lord said, “Tomorrow you go down against them, and you’ll find them by the brook. You don’t need to fight in this battle.” Jehoshaphat said, “What are we going to do? They come against us. This thing is coming against me.” He said, “Tomorrow you go down. You shall not need to fight in this battle tomorrow. Set yourself still and see the salvation of the Lord with you. Fear not. Do not be dismayed.” Again, He said, “Tomorrow, go out against them for the Lord will be with you. Tomorrow.”

Jehoshaphat asked, “What am I going to do tonight? I have to wait all day until tomorrow?” God said “Tomorrow.” “What am I going to do now until tomorrow?”

“Rest.” You’re going to rest.

So tomorrow came. They rose up early in the morning. They went forth into the wilderness. When he consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord that should praise the beauty of the holiness. They went out before the army to say, “Praise the Lord and His mercy endured forever.” And when they began to sing and pray, and worshiping the Lord, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Emon, Moab, and all the enemies that  came against Judah. They were all smitten.

I was reading this morning. It came to me. He said, “Wait until tomorrow. Rest.” When they rested, they had answered them in the morning. You go out, just do what? Worship and praise. Go in front and sing and worship Him.

That’s what we’re doing right now, this morning. Every problem, every issue, He said, “Rest. Tomorrow, get up early in the morning.” He got up and he started worshiping and praising the Lord. And the enemy was defeated.

Thank you, Father, we enter into your rest. So go to sleep. Go to sleep and get up in the morning, you’ll have the answer. The answer could be different. It could be praise and worship. It could be “Go to church.” It could be “Go walk.” But tomorrow, we worship you.

When you begin to worship and praise, the Word of God says the chains will start falling off. All depression, the worries, the concern…

Don’t get into strife…

I have a couple of scriptures as I was seeking the Lord this morning. The scripture that came to me, I think is going to help us and others watching this morning. James 3:16, “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

Where there is strife, there is a confusion, there is division, and there’s all work of the evil one. Where there is strife, there will be division. Get out of the strife! Get out of the division and bring unity. That’s the scripture I was getting. Don’t get into strife.

Father, we thank you this morning. The scripture tells us that where there is a strife, there is evil. We don’t want the evil one. So we speak in the name of Jesus and we come against the strife in the home, which causes division between husband and wife, mother and father, brother or sister.

Strife in the workplace… Matthew 16:19, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatsoever you lose on earth, it shall be loosed in heaven.

So we bind the spirit of strife in the Living Word church, staff… all kind of strife and division… Whatsoever you bind… We bind you the spirit of strife and division and confusion. We want no confusion. We want no division. We loose the spirit of unity in the community, between husband and wife, and the children in the home and in the family of Living World Christian Center. Out of strife…

2 Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but spirit of love, power, and sound mind. Fear brings strife. And strife brings division and confusion.

Ephesians 4:26, “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath…” The Bible says to be angry and sin not. Do not let the sun go down in wrath. Let no corrupt communication come out of our mouth, but whatever builds you up. Build others up with the words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart, the mind, be pleasing unto you.

Oh Lord my God, my redeemer, my rock.

James 3:11, “Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?” It should not be like this. The sweet water and bitter water come out the same fountain. No! Let our words build others up, not putting down but up! Walk in love! Enter into His rest.

We are getting rid of strife, division… We declare there is no strife at Living Word Christian center, staff, members… and there is no work of the evil and there is no division because we walk in love…

The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Nothing can separate me from the love of God. Either poverty, sickness, anything else… nothing can separate me from the love of God. He found the secret to walk in love. He said there’s faith, there’s hope, love… but the greatest is love.

Sister Cindy…

Whatever we do, we do it as a family. Hallelujah.

And he was talking about Ephesians 1. Paul said, “Ever since I heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus.” But that’s not it. He’s also heard of your love for the Christians everywhere. Man, it just brought him to his knees. It says, I have never stopped thanking God for you. It seems like Paul is like, you have captured the theme of my heart and that is the unity of the brothers and sisters coming together and doing what we do. And that is to glorify and magnify God on the earth together. Hallelujah.

And we’re diving deep into the Ephesian prayers with Pastor Jim. So he’s thanking God and he says, asking God the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. I think they go together.  I say that the seven spirits of the Lord, the spirit of wisdom and understanding… the spirit of counsel and might… the knowledge of the Lord and the reverential fear, which takes you full circle back to the wisdom. Because the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Just like a circle. And then you have wisdom. He’s given us the things that we need to take and walk out on the earth and declare. And in doing so, we’re taking steps. And they grow brighter.

And I believe there’s a joining with wisdom and understanding. So every time you’re walking in the wisdom of God, you’re gaining more and more understanding. So much so that you just expect God to show up in ways that are above your control, your head. And then He enlightens your head. So we don’t have to understand in order to obey.

But on the other side of our obedience, He enlightens us with His ways of doing and being, His ways of seeing… He gives us eyes to see more and more as He sees things. It becomes more and more a delight of the King. The desires of our heart start to spring forth and the hope of God, the earnest expectation. We set our hope, holy and unchangeable. Hearing from you, Father, seeing the things that you want us to do. The things that you want us to say. Father, not having any kind of reservation in these areas. No drawing back, no hesitation. Fear is no longer our companion. But love, power and a sound mind, that’s enlightened through the wisdom of God in operation through us. As we walk out every day, your purpose and plan, the things that you’ve prepared ahead of time that we would walk in. Thank you, Lord. Giving glory and honor to the Father together in the name of Jesus.
