Prayer Leader Cindy…
Worship…
In the glory of His presence, we find peace that makes us whole.
We were never meant to exist outside of God.
He is our resting place.
If you find yourself out of sync and offline, staticky and anxious, return to your resting place.
Father, we thank you that in you we have everything.
Apart from you or before you, we have no peace.
But in you, we have perfect peace.
And nothing shall offend us or cause us to stumble because we’re filled to the full with your rest.
We rest in the knowledge that you created us.
We rest in the knowledge that you have given us peace, wholeness, a purpose, a destination, a journey with you.
You are at our right hand.
And we fear nothing because you have made our way, and we just step lockstep with you.
Everything is in its place.
No matter what it looks like, we’re taking land because God’s with us, God with us, God in us, God coming through us.
The hope to which we’ve been called.
The doorway of heaven to earth so that He might express Himself in the glory of His presence.
Fill every room we step into and cause all shadows to flee.
Because in His light, there’s no shadow of turning.
Good and awesome and perfect God restoring everything back to Himself.
Our resting place is in you, Father.
We take rest today as long as it’s called today.
It’s a reservation. We check in. It’s our resting place.
And life is to know you and to know the power outflowing from your resurrection.
Thank you, Father, that you are always with us.
You never leave us.
You’re faithfully and continually guiding us with your eye.
And we keep our eyes on you, Father.
And we can see the reflection of who we are in your eye.
You’re our keeper. Day and night, you keep us.
You know that word “keeper”? It means like eyelid.
The sun shall not smite us by day, the moon shall not by night.
No evil shall harm us, for you overshadow us.
Your glorious shadow.
Peter had a shadow. It was the glory of God.
It was like a train that followed and touched people and brought people the healing, perfect virtue of God in which there’s no shadow of turning, no place for evil, no more opportune moment.
That’s the place of wholeness.
He healed all the lepers, but one returned to Him to abide in His presence and to be made whole.
Because our wholeness involves not just receiving, but being in that place of rest, knowing that He is our resting place eternally.
We are His, and He is ours.
And outside of Him, we have no rest.
Thank you, Father.
Prayer leader DJ…
Cindy said 10 lepers came. About two or three months ago on a Friday, we were sitting in the coffee shop. A lady came with a lot of problems. This is a story of how God can use one morning to change everything. We’re sitting there and she shared how she’s going through… We don’t know her, never met her before. But she comes to our church. She shared how her life is very difficult from last few years. Her life is miserable. Lot of issues. And we start praying for her. And we prayed for her that Friday.
Saturday came and I got a text from her. Sunday, we met. Sunday she got a place to live. Because I had a place I was going to rent to someone, $800 more than the rent she can pay. Because she’s having a lot of struggle.
Anyway, I said, “Well, you know what? I was about to lease it to someone on Saturday,” I said, “We’re going to rent it to you so your struggle will be over.” She has many. I said, “So here’s the key.”
Friday we prayed. Sunday she met. She had the key to live in a house. She moved in. And the seriousness, whatever she was going through was over. In one Friday morning prayer, she come here, sitting with Jesus, and her problem was solved!
I ask the same person, “Why don’t you stop by this morning for Friday morning prayer?” She said, “I have no time for coffee.” I said, “No, no, not for coffee. Just come out and give thanks to the Lord what He has done for you few months ago on Friday morning.”
And I said, “There were 10 lepers,” I just text, “They were healed, and only one came back to give thanks to the Lord.”
Thanksgiving is so important. Jesus said to the one leper that returned to give thanks, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well” (Luke 17:10–19).
Prayer leader Cindy…
It’s the Father’s heart that every one of those lepers would come back because that’s the point. That’s the bottom line. We are never meant to exist outside of Him. We can get our answers. We can get our healing. But if we fail to recognize that He is life, He’s eternal life is to know Him and that we were never meant to exist outside of Him.
The Ten Lepers…
So He says to all those that come to Me, I will by no means turn them away. I’m not going to say, no, you did some things and you don’t quite meet the snuff or whatever. But He understands that He’s the answer to every problem. And He wanted all those lepers to return.
The woman with the issue of blood…
And I’m thinking of the woman with the issue of blood. And that woman was so hungry and she had just enough faith… Or a lot of faith, actually, because she had to go through the obstacles of everybody. She wasn’t even supposed to be there, but she snuck in and grabbed the edge of His robe and received her healing.
But then she receded back. And then Jesus is like, “Wait a minute, who touched Me?” And she reluctantly came forward. And He’s like, “I am not willing that you go away, because I love you and you’re a daughter, and you belong in a place of knowing Me, a place of wholeness.”
Prayed…
Thank you, Father, that we can know you more and more.
Lord, help us to focus on the problems of this life as just an avenue, just a ways and a means to knowing you more, that we would just fight or kind of press through all of the obstacles that would cause us not to know you, the distractions, the reproaches, whatever..
We thank you, Father, that it’s all about your glory.
It’s all about the knowledge of who you are filling us and overflowing.
That we would beam forth that knowledge in the face of this world that’s watching.
That they would know that you’re truly among us.
That you manifest yourself, and that it is shown to be from you and not man.
