Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Prayer leader DJ…

Good morning, everybody. Happy Friday. I’m DJ Chala. This is Cindy. This is a really good, good Friday.

I heard from somebody this morning; they said to me, “I need a miracle.” So we’ll pray for this person who special ask me, “I need a miracle.” He said, “I don’t need healing. I need a miracle.” So we’re going to pray for miracle and believe God for a miracle. When you ask for a miracle, a miracle should happen. Thank you, Father, for you are great.

He sent His Word and healed your disease. Disease can be anything. Every problem. It could be a problem with finances. It could be worry. It could be depression, oppression… anything!

Do you remember the 10 lepers? Since today is the 10th. We’re going to continue to worship Him. Worship will take us into the heavens… heaven on earth! You know, He sits up there in heaven and laughs and rejoices when we worship Him. He’s in heaven. But His presence come upon this earth, upon us, all the time.

The 10 lepers asked Jesus, “Jesus, heal us.” And Jesus healed all the 10 lepers. And one out of 10… it’s always one out of 10. Today’s the 10th. The one showed up and fell on Jesus’ feet and started to worship. He started thanking Him for what He had done. And the Lord said, “Where are the other nine lepers. Didn’t I heal 10 and only one showed up?” And He said, “Now because you come to worship and thank me, you are being made whole. Be made whole.”

Prayer leader Cindy…

So you were talking about the Pharisees and how Jesus was saying to them, “Woe to scribes and Pharisees, imposters, hypocrites. You tithe mint and dill and cumin and forsake the weightier things of the law, justice mercy and faith. It is necessary for you to do these things and you should not forsake them. It is necessary for you to do these things and you should not forsake them. Blind guides, you strain out gnats to swallow camels.”

The weightier things of God…

Like you were saying just now, the weightier things of God—justice, mercy, walking humbly with our Lord. These are the weightier things. They’re like glorious things because all things good… heavy, heavy with God’s goodness.

And the other week I heard that the world can be heavy on you. Like “all you who are heavy laden, I will give you rest.” And so I was thinking about the word “ladened” and I said, “Oh Lord, could we be heavy ladened with good things?” Because the Devil doesn’t own anything. And he can only twist and pervert what God meant for good.

So I looked up the word laden and I wanted to do the first mention of ladened. And it took me a while to find it. I’ll read it because it kind of ties in with what you’re saying. It’s Genesis 45.

“Now the report of it was heard in Pharaoh’s house saying Joseph’s brothers have come. So they were in famine in their land. And they were kind of like the lepers and they said, “Why sit we here till we die? Let’s get up and go to Egypt,” which is a type of the world, “and get what they have. We don’t have anything. They have it.” They didn’t realize that it was the wisdom of God that prepared it ahead of time for them.

Okay, so it says “he heard that Pharaoh’s house saying Joseph’s brothers have come. So it pleased Pharaoh and his servants well. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, say to your brothers, do this. Load your animals and depart. Go to the land of Canaan, bring your father and your household, and come to me and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt. And you’ll eat the fat of the land. Now you are commanded, do this. Take carts out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and your wives. Bring your father and come. Also, do not be concerned about your goods. For the best of all the land of Egypt is yours. Did our brother go ahead of us and make provision?”

Yes, he did.

“Then the sons of Israel did so, and Joseph gave them carts according to the command of Pharaoh, and he gave them provisions for the journey. He gave to all of them to each man changes of garment. But to Benjamin, he gave 300 pieces of silver and five changes of garments.”

Benjamin is a type of grace.

“And he sent to his father these things: 10 donkeys, heavy ladened with good things of Egypt and 10 female donkeys loaded with grain, bread and food for his father for the journey. So he sent his brothers away and they departed. And he said to Them see that you do not become troubled along the way.”

But I just thought the “they loaded down the asses,” the donkeys with the provision of the world as our brother Jesus made the way. He was sent ahead of time before us. He’s commissioned us to take the wealth of the world, the glory, the heavy glory, the goodness back to our father.

So what we do is we give glory to God our Father. In everything we do, we do to the glory of God. And God’s glory is heavy with all things good. Hallelujah. Thank you, Father.

Thank you, Father, that we have been forgiven of such great trespasses. Our brother, Jesus, our kinsman redeemer.
So, Father, we thank you for the weightier things… and kings ride on donkeys and donkeys are kind of like a type of the Word of God. It keeps us. It carries us where we need to go. It warns and corrects us along the way.

I’m thinking of Baalam and the donkey and how that donkey served Baalam all the days of his life. And when Baalam was going in the wrong way, that donkey would not move. So he beat the donkey. The donkey was like, “What have I done? I’m just here serving your best, trying to make the end work out right for you.”

So we thank you, Father, for the justice and the mercy and the humility to ride on your Word wherever it takes us.
That we would always be on our journey to bring our Father the heavy ladened goodness, the glory.
