Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Brother DJ…

Good morning, everybody. Thank you, Father, for this good Friday.

We enter into His presence, enter His gates with Thanksgiving in our hearts and enter His court with praise and lift His name and bless His holy name.

Father, we thank you for Living Word Church in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Thank you, Father, for all the pastors. Thank you, Lord, for this chapel where we can come pray and seek you.
Thank you, God, for this country and for all the things you’ve given us.
Thank you, Lord, for living in the best country in the whole world.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart…

The Bible says, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of our heart. This morning, we are all here. We are delighting in His presence, worshiping Him. Whatever is in the heart He wants to give you the desire of your heart. Whatever the desires are.

Today, I was reading Psalm 112 where He says, “Blessed is the man who delighted himself in the Lord; his children shall be mighty in the land.” Delight yourself.

I will look at delight… you know there’s a Delight creamer? Did you guys know about Delight creamer in the coffee? You put in the coffee. It changed the whole look. Spending time with Jesus, with God, is delighting. It’s like creamer in the coffee. It brings sweetness. It changes the color.

Delight yourself in the Lord. And He will give you the desire of your heart.
Listen to this one. “Blessed is a man who fears the Lord.” That’s us! “Who finds great delight in His commands.” And that’s us! “His children will be mighty in the land and the generation of the upright will be blessed.”

And he didn’t stop there. “Wealth and riches are in his house and his righteousness endures forever.” This is a man who delights himself in the Lord. “Even in the darkness, light is for the upright.” Even in dark, we have a light. The light.

Good will come to us who are generous, who delight. Surely, we will never be shaken. Delight ourselves in the Lord and He shall give the desire of our hearts. The Lord delights in the prosperity of His servant. Delight.

Today we’re going to delight ourselves in the Lord with worshiping Him, praying, seeking Him.
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the council of the wicked, but he delights in the law of the Lord. And day and night, he meditates. That’s us!
Such a man is not shaken. Delight ourselves.
You know what I’m saying? Delight transforms the coffee into smooth. When we delight ourselves, we are smooth. We are sweet. We are effective.

Sister Cindy…

The light is of the light. So we delight ourselves in that which is the entrance of His light. His Word is light. It’s health to all our flesh. It’s the light of God. We thank you, Father, for your Word, the entrance of your Word. It’s the D of light. And then He gives us D–sires of our heart. So we do delight ourselves.

We delight ourselves here every morning in prayer.
We delight ourselves in working.
We delight ourselves in whatever we do, wherever we go.
We Delight because delight lives in us. The light of the light of God.

Brother DJ…

And we become sweeter when we delight. Become sweeter. We delight ourselves in the Lord and He’ll give us the desires of our heart. Today while I’m driving here… A joke. I said, “Cindy, what time church start for morning prayer?” I know it here early. Oh, okay.

Cindy…

I said, “Not another dad joke.”

Brother DJ…

And I said, oh, today’s 16th. She said, I thought it was somebody’s birthday today. Anybody have birthday today? Say it again. Anyway. She says it’s the 16th. Oh sweet 16. It’s a sweet 16. So you know, I stop at the donut shop and get the sweet donut for you on the sweet 16th right there. Because I have too much time in my hand this morning. I got up early. I don’t know what to do, so I stopped by at the donut shop to give you Sweet 16.

Then I learned about John 3:16 say there is a word on the 16, famous word. Everybody knows it. Athletes know. The whole world knows. Muslims know. Hindus know. Sikhs know. Buddhists know. It’s called John 3:16. “For God so loved.” I don’t know what’s up with Jesus. It’s three everywhere. Then add to 16. Sweet Jesus. Sweet.

Every day is sweeter with Jesus.
Every day is sweeter.
Every day is better.
Every day is with Jesus.
Every day is sweeter.
Every day is better.

So today is 16. John 3:16 say, “For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Jesus said, “I came that you would have life and life in abundantly.” John 3:16.

Abundance of peace.
Abundance of joy.
Abundance of love.
Abundance of rest.
Jesus came to give us life and life abundantly. That’s John 3:16. Today is the 16th.

Cindy…

Not letting up on what we know is right. We don’t look for the wrong, but, Father, we just thank you for what is right in the light. Your Word is light. You sent your Word and healed all our disease.
Set us free from the fear that only can take root in the shadows, the deception…
But your light is coming through. Your light is what makes things right.
The righteousness, peace, and joy.
So we spend our times confessing the right… what’s right for children of the day … and the day declares in the light what is right.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say we are ransomed from the sin that leads to death. Every degree … we busy ourselves, Father, in confessing… Thank you, Lord, this word of freedom and liberty, the perfect law of liberty, set us free from the law of sin that leads to death.
Father, the salvation of the Lord is a walk in the light, a daily walk in the light. Every step is getting brighter. Every step is bringing more and more of the knowledge of God that far surpasses mere knowledge without walking with God through everything in the light that He has given us.
And He said you are the light of the world. A city on a hill. It cannot be hidden.
Oh, thank you, Father, that each one of us has a platform, a place to shine in the light.
We see the light and we beam forth the light for all the strongholds to come to nothing, to be melted and disappear, and be a non-existent thing…
For they are not anything but twisted truth and in the light. Everything straightens up and we see as you see. We see as you see.
Yes, our eyes are on Jesus. Our eyes are on the Lord. We are a holy habitation, a dwelling place for God.
We dwell in the light. We know all that we need to know when we need to know it. We have an anointing and know all things because the Spirit of the Lord is upon us… the Spirit of the Lord, the anointing of God, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of council and might, the Spirit of the knowledge of God and the reverential awe and wonder of His person, which always leads us back to the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God… that’s so far, far above the wisdom of mere man… far above the scrutiny of mere man’s wisdom.

Sister Barb…

I just wanted to give a testimony because I want you to know how amazing God is. I was driving here this morning, and sometimes the enemy uses things in your past, kind of brings it up to you while you’re driving to prayer. I was driving along and I just had a… for me it was a cool testimony. Because I’m a girl.

I had packed away all my shoes last fall, my spring shoes. I put them in a big box and couldn’t find them. Looked for a couple weeks. My daughter had moved. I thought she took them with her. And we were talking a big box, like big black box. Can’t miss it.

And my husband’s going, “Are you sure you didn’t put…” We’re looking everywhere. My husband especially because he knows it’s going to cost him. You don’t find my shoes, it’s going to cost you. We got to find that box. We’re looking, looking. It is nowhere. Nowhere. And it’s not something that you can miss.

And so I’m just going, “Lord, I don’t like to shoe shop. I don’t like going to the shoe store. I order online. I don’t even like to go try on shoes.” So I’m like, “I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to go through all that. That’s just annoying.”

And so I said to the Lord, “Look, wherever those are, you get them back in my house… wherever it is, this box.” I just put it in His hands.

My husband was praying last night downstairs. He has a prayer group online. And he’s walking along and he walks past a box! Like there’s no way… like out in the open! In the middle of a room!

And the Holy Ghost says, “Open that box.” And he opened the box and he goes, WHAT! There they are. Like it’s in the middle of the room! You can’t miss it.

And I said, “Lord, you are mind blowing.” It wasn’t there. Like looking in an empty room and then now there’s a box. And I said, “You just blew my mind.”

So I’m driving to prayer this morning and I hear this old song that says, “You can’t always get what you want.” And I said, “Oh, Devil, you are a liar. I just got exactly what I asked from God.”

God is so amazing. You started out with that—the desires of your heart, that which you want…

I remember hearing a testimony of a man in… I don’t know if he was in India. I think. Everybody’s driving carts with horses. He wanted a bike. And that was a big thing there. It’s like us getting a car here. He asked the Lord and God got him a bike! Everybody else has their horse and cart. He is cruising around on the bike. So God can do anything.

Do not listen to what the enemy says. “You can’t get what you want.” Okay. No, I don’t think so, rock band. That’s the Devil. You’re speaking the Devil’s words. No. The Bible says the desires of our heart. Whatever is in our heart, He puts desires in our hearts. We also have desires… things that we just like. He doesn’t mind getting you a new car, a new house. And this morning, again, when you were ministering, He said, “The healer is in the house.” Healing’s in the house.

If you need healing, healing’s here for you right now. You don’t have to wait. Every desire of your heart, He will fulfill. Praise Lord.
