Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Brother DJ…

Thank you, Father, for this good Friday, that we are alive in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Why do we worship?

We are glorifying Him this morning. People say, “Why do you guys have to worship and sing before the prayer service starts?” Because we want to glorify Him. And we invite Him and praise Him because He’s worthy to be praised. Cindy said He inhabits the praises of His people. Good words already. So we lift our voices and we worship you, Lord.

If He inhabits the praises of His people, I wonder “What happens when we complain?” He said to do everything without grudging and complaining. Do everything… everything without complaining and murmuring because He inhabits the praises of His people.

Like a tree planted by the rivers of water…

With thanksgiving and praise, we come to Him on this good, good Friday. “We shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper,” Ps. 1:3.

Whatever we shall do, what happened? We prosper! Like a palm tree. We worship Him. We swing this way and this way. When the storm comes, wind comes, but we are palm trees—standing straight and worshiping Him.

Come unto me and I will give you rest…

Father, you said the blood of Jesus Christ overcomes the enemy of our soul up here, in the thoughts, the mind. The soul. Jesus said, “Come unto me who are weary and tired, bored, don’t know what to do. Come unto Me and sit by Me, and I will give you rest.” Like we are doing this morning. You are all here and we are watching this morning. By sitting by Jesus, He gives us rest. Hallelujah.

Learn of Me…

Then He said, My yoke is easy. My burden is light. Learn from Me. My ways are easy. You’ll find rest up here to your souls. The thoughts are where all the battle is to overcome the enemy of our soul. Yes, the mind.

Father, I thank you even the brain, you restore not only the soul but the brain. His Word knitting together the brain, supernaturally, brain is restore. The soul and the brain.

We wrestle not…

I was reading this morning in Ephesians 6:12 says, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood.” That means we do wrestle. We do wrestle though. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, principalities, against the ruler of the darkness, against spiritual wickedness in high places. So we do wrestle. Let’s do a little wrestling in the spirit this morning. So we wrestle not against the man or woman of flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, of the rulers of darkness. We speak light in the name of Jesus. And spiritual wickedness in high places.

Be a watchman…

So we do have to wrestle against spiritual wickedness. Like a watchman. Be a watchman and pray. Watch and pray. Especially in the darkness, in the night.

Jacob got up in the night and wrestled…

I remember Jacob, the Bible say he got up in the night, in the darkness and he wrestled. We’re talking about, we wrestled not against flesh and blood, but he wrestled in the nighttime. He was going through many things. His brother was after him. Things were not looking good. He woke up in the morning. What did he do? He prayed and he prayed and he wrestled. Spiritual wrestling. Praying and praying and praying until the morning. That means prayer is very important to even get up in the nighttime and pray until the morning, until we get the result. And he got the result!

Cancer! We wrestle against the cancer. Maybe get up in the nighttime and pray in the name of Jesus. Canceled.

We canceled the cancer in the name of Christ. Somebody said, “I have cancer.” We cancel the cells of cancer in the name of Jesus this morning. Get up in the nighttime and pray until the morning. And he canceled every attack of the enemy and he get blessing from the Lord in the morning.

Jacob wrestle in the spirit in prayer. So we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but we do wrestle against the darkness, spiritual wickedness in high places. No wonder He said to “watch and pray.” Like a watchman.

Jesus is our example…

Yes, we are the Watchman. I was reading about Jesus. He would get up on the fourth hour, which is between 3 and 6 in the morning. He’ll get up in the morning, He’ll go up to the mountain and prayed. If the Son of God needed to pray in the nighttime, get up in the morning and go pray. How much more do we need to pray in the morning.

Prayer will keep us from fainting…

Man should always to pray and not faint. That means prayer will keep us from fainting. That’s what we’re doing this morning. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but we do wrestle in the spirit.

He said “Be vigilant. Be alert. Be sober because your enemy is the devil. The adversary is looking to and fro who he can, but we are alert. Prayer is alert. Has this happened to you? You get up in the like three o’clock? You look at the watch, it’s three! That means the Lord is trying to say, “Get up and pray!”

Jesus said, “When you pray, get up, go to the room.” That means get out the bed or the couch. Get up and go to the room and shut the door behind you and pray. Not to sleep and to pray means you might have to change your location so you’re not be tired, you’ll be awake. And He said when you pray in secret, He will reward us openly.

Sister Cindy…

“Finally, brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and rulers of the darkness of this age against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand, stand therefore.”

Stand therefore…

Rick Renner would say in the Greek, it breaks down to having come to a final conclusion. Stand therefore. So it’s like you have come to a place where you’re not wavering anymore about the fact that God said this is what you have and it shall be according to your faith. So it’s a fight. And we’re not backing down because the kids got no pleasure. We draw back. But we are to put on the weapons of our warfare.

Put on the armor of God…

So therefore having gird our waist with truth. Having put on the breastplate of righteousness and our feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel, peace above all, taking the shield of faith. You can receive nothing from God and it’s impossible to please God without faith. By faith, we put on these other things, wherewith, we are able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one. And having the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God, and praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to the end with all perseverance, even at three o’clock in the morning each day. Perseverance and supplication for all the saints and for me, that utterance may be given to me that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel for which I’m an ambassador in the chains, that I may speak boldly as I ought.

Prayed…

So, Father, we thank you that we have armor, we have the belt of truth, that we would walk in the truth that it would keep our loins gird up the procreative loins of our being … the seed of the Word of God that we sow and do expect it to produce a harvest.
