Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Brother DJ…
Good morning, everyone. Good Friday.
Today is the day the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and will be glad in it.
Your house is covered in the blood of Jesus.
My house is covered in the blood of Jesus.
This house of the Lord, Living Word Christian Center, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota is covered in the blood of Jesus.
Your cars are covered in the blood of Jesus… your businesses, the front door, the back door, the blood of Jesus.
The blood of Jesus in our eyes, in our ears to hear… the mind is covered in the blood, the hearts, the kidneys, the feet covered in the blood of Jesus.
The blood of Jesus Christ overcome the enemy of our soul.
Again, I say rejoice!
This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
But you say, “I have this issue. I have that issue. I have a money issue. This problem… that problem.” But the Lord says, “Rejoice in the Lord.” Paul said, “I say rejoice. Again I say, rejoice. Let your gentleness be shown. Be anxious for nothing but in all things through prayer, supplication and thanksgiving.” And guess what happened? The peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
The blood of Jesus Christ overcomes the enemy of our soul.
Eph. 3:14, “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…”
Paul said, “For this reason, I kneel before the Father…” 2000 years ago, he recorded this prayer. We can pray it today. It’s still being prayed for thousands a year. He said, “I pray…” What should I pray?
Eph. 1:16–18, “do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened.”
“I pray the eyes of your understanding and my understanding be enlightened to know the purpose and the glorious inheritance. He said, “For this reason, I kneel before the Father.”
I kneel before the Father… we’re talking about kneeling above the Father.
Testimony of football player…
A few years ago in the NFL stadium for football. One of the players, I forgot his name. He was only 20 to 25 years. It was less than 25 years ago. He was going to play first quarter. The next thing you know, his heart stopped. Congested failure. He fell right in front of millions of people watching. And thousands of people were in the stadium. Everything stopped. Everything quieted down. It was so noisy, you couldn’t hear anything. But now it’s quiet. The man had no life left.
You know what happened?
Everyone in the stadium… everyone who’s watching… got out of the chairs and kneeled down. “Oh God! Heal this man. Heal this man!” The whole stadium.
For this reason, I kneel before the Father… The whole country started praying for this man. Kneeling before the Father.
Until the moment came! Paul said, “Don’t wait until the moment. For this reason, I kneel before the Father from whom all family are named. I pray out of your glorious riches. You strengthen us by you’re Spirit in our inner man, that Christ shall dwell in heart through faith.”
The prayer of righteous men availed much. Everybody kneeling and praying and country praying. Guess what? The young man came out of that alive.
Prayer of the righteous man availeth much. For this reason, I kneel before the Father… kneeling before the Father.
Another testimony…
When they threw the ball toward them on the end, the man who catch the ball and 11 people were running after a hundred miles an hour, you know what he does? He either has to run or drop the ball. If he drop the ball, they’re going to get it. But if he catch it, he has to run because the 11 men are running like a hundred miles an hour and they’re 300 pounds to kill him! You know that, right? You know what he does? He had two choices. Run. But what did he do? Kneel!
If he kneeled down, everybody stopped running. They stopped. They can’t touch him. They stopped because he kneeled. When he kneeled…
When we kneel before the Father, all the demons stopped.
We catch the problem if we kneel before the Father. Every demon stopped running after us. “For this reason, we kneel before the Father from whom all families are named
This morning, speaking to the Lord, praying, seeking, talking to other. There is no faith. Spending no time with the Lord is wasted. I was talking to somebody. And the next thing you know, I’m texting them. They’re texting back to me. They had no faith, just confusion. He said they didn’t know the spirit of love, power, or sound mind. He said, “God has not given us the spirit of fear, but He’s going to us a spirit of love, power, and sound mind.”
When we spend time with Him, our mind gets sound. We talk differently. But those who wait upon the Lord, those who spend time with the Lord, their youth is renewed like the eagle. We talk differently. God has not given us a spirit of fear. So that means somebody else is giving us the spirit of fear. God has given us spirit of love, power, and sound mind.
Mary and Martha…
Spend time with the Lord. He say, “I’m not going to take this time away from her.” Mary and Martha. “Martha. Martha, you are worried. You just need to do one thing. One thing! You just spend time with Me.”
One thing I desired, David said, that I may seek Him. Dwell in the house of Lord.
Sister Cindy…
I’m going to read Ephesians 2:3. I was talking to my group the other week and I said, “I haven’t done this in a while, but every morning I would just flop out of bed and start to read Ephesians 2:3 in the New Living Translation. And DJ was reading out of Ephesians 3 today when you said, “I fell to my knees, I bow to my Father in the midst of all of everything that wants us to bow to it…”
James Tan was here this weekend, and I can condense that in my eyes. We always receive things differently. The anointings so great in that way. But I just heard through the series of meetings that I ain’t bowing to the inferior things that try to get me off my course. Because we are appointed for certain things on this earth. You’re appointed to walk your path and I’m appointed to walk my path. But we’re walking together.
Don’t let the enemy knock you off your path…
I don’t want to get off into some ditch, be distracted. The Devil, if he can’t knock you off your horse, he’ll try to distract you with other things. But we’re not bowing to those things. And it takes from what he was focusing on is discernment. It takes discernment.
How do I respond to what is coming? And it’s like I don’t know what that is, but the Lord will show you so you can properly respond to it. And so sometimes you don’t respond. You can just be quiet and not say a word and let it pass by.
And Pastor Ken was talking about that earlier this week. Just be quiet. You don’t have to respond to everything, but it takes the Spirit of God to show you these things.
So I see Ephesians 2:3 as the gospel. It’s the good news. It’ll make you happy. It says “Once I was dead because of my disobedience…” I’m personalizing this. “Your disobedience and your many sins.” So when we just hear God and obey, we don’t miss our appointments. Sin is like missing the mark.
I used to live in sin just like the rest of the world. Obeying the Devil, the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey. All of us used to live that way following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. But by our very nature, we were subject to God’s anger just like everyone else. But God is so rich in mercy and He loved us so much that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved for He raised us from the dead along with Christ seated us with Him in heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.”
Thank you, Father, that we are in Christ, united in Christ Jesus. Our salvation.
So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of His incredible wealth of His grace and kindness towards us as shown in all He has done for us, who are united in Christ Jesus. God saved you by grace when you believed, and you can’t take credit for this. It is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done. So none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things He has planned for us long ago. Don’t forget that you, gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called uncircumcised heathens by the Jews who were proud of their circumcision, their fleshly outward appearance. And even though it affected only their bodies and not their heart. In those days, you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made for them or to them. You lived in the world without God and without hope, but now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, now you have been brought near to Him through the blood of Jesus.
Glory to your name, Father. Thank you, Lord.
