Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Worship leader Melanie…

I just got this picture this morning. You know how when you go on vacation or on a cruise or you plan some really cool trip? I don’t know if anybody’s gotten to do that. But there’s this anticipation. There’s this excitement of like, “Man, I saved up my money. I did the work. I researched where to go.” You’re envisioning yourself there before you’re there and every day before the vacation you’re like, “Oh, I cannot wait to go.”

Jesus is the vacation…

And I just had this picture this morning of Jesus being the vacation, of Jesus being the one that we’re like, every day we get up, we’re like, “I cannot wait for that experience of getting to be with Jesus today.”

And I know it’s silly. But it’s like every day can be a vacation with Jesus. And if we treat reading His Word and praying and sitting with Him and worshiping Him like this event similar to going on a vacation… like if we wake up and we get excited about that time that we get to be with Him, then it’s like this joy grows in our hearts.

We have to take that step of faith and choose…

But we have to let it in. We have to take that step of faith and choose to be excited and choose joy. Joy won’t always necessarily come and bombard us and make us happy. That’s not how free will works. I wish sometimes it would. But the Lord enjoys our “yes.” He enjoys our commitment. He loves it when we, through everything that we go through, the challenges of life and the disappointment that comes and the busyness of life choose to be excited when we choose joy, and we choose to look forward to that time that we get to spend with Him.

Prayed…

So I just thank you, Lord. Thank you for the vacations of Jesus, for getting to be away and come away with you. We say that you are the best experience we could ever have. Nothing will top being with Jesus. No trip. Nothing, No money. We thank you that you are the best thing that has ever happened to us.

Brother DJ…

Pastor Melanie was singing let us experience the presence. Hallelujah. Let us experience this morning. Let’s go on vacation with the Lord, with the Holy Spirit this morning. Where He wants us to go, the places.

Pastor Melanie said, “Let’s experience the presence of His Spirit. Let us experience where the Holy Spirit wants to take us to the vacations, the places we should go. Hallelujah.

I was glad when they said unto me, let us go to the house of the Lord. Let’s go on vacation this morning.

A vacation means rest. Rest and more rest. Peace. Joy. When Pastor Melanie said vacation, I think about Wisconsin Dells! That’s my favorite place to go. Go on the water slide, up and down. Let’s take vacation from worries, cares, anxiety.

We are covered in the blood of Jesus. The precious blood of Jesus gives us peace. We have reconciliation through the blood of Jesus. Healing through the blood of Jesus. Rest in the blood of Jesus.

I didn’t know Pastor Melanie was going to be here. I’m running fa

I was driving by Channel 11 news on this side. Channel 11. Today is what? 11! So I drove in here and the signs says, “Services are 9 and 11.”

Our mind goes to the numbers, because the Lord says signs and wonders. So let’s pray 911.

Prayed…

Father, I thank you people who are watching here this morning, Living Word church people, we dwell in the secret place of the most high God. We abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Thank you, Lord.

We say of the Lord that He’s our refuge. He’s our fortress. He’s our redeemer. Our healer. Our provider in the Lord our God. We trust you, Lord.

Sister Cindy…

Holy Spirit, come fill our hearts today to the full. We desire for hearts to be full of all you have given us without measure.
Today the issues are flowing from our hearts, are completely life…
Above all things, we guard our hearts because out of our hearts answers flow, eternity flows, the timeless things of God.
The “now faith is” the substance of what is in heaven come through us to touch the earth… as it is in heaven, so be it because we reserve our hearts for you to flow.
Let the waters flow. Lift up your gates and let the waters flow.
He’s the sound of many waters flowing and He harmonizes us all together.
We’re tuning in, Lord. We’re tuning in. The waters are flowing. And sometimes the waters are trickling. And sometimes they’re still. And sometimes they flow like Wisconsin Dells.
It’s fun to be in the river of God.
It’s restful to be in the river of God.
It’s delightful to be in the river of God.
And we’re not alone in the river.
We’re flowing with the body of His love.
There’s unity in the river. There’s timing. Everything is on time flowing to us and through us.
There’s never any lack in the river of God.

So we take the moments because like Pastor Mel was saying, we’re not living for a moment. Although He’s given us times of rest and refreshment, but He’s also given us times of work and worship and play. So everything we do all throughout the day is a moment filled with His presence and that is our reward.
So every day we give to you, Father, the moments and we say they’re full and they are so valuable.

Prayed…

And help us, Lord, to see and not disdain the things you have appointed and allowed on our path because they’re moments of working with you. And these things are joyful and effortless. And so we give you free course to do what you want. And we ask for eyes to see. Like DJ was saying, give us eyes to see, the wisdom and understanding, to know the hope to which we’ve been called… the exceeding greatness of your power that is within us working, as we put it to work.

It’s the dance He leads. We follow. An exceeding great power is being produced and coming into the natural realm as it is in heaven, and so be it here on earth. Because we’re complicit with God. We’re flowing with God. We’re inebriated with the wine of the Spirit, drunk without any care.

Because He surrounded us with all that we need. He surrounded us with such a great cloud of witnesses, a biodome of life conducive to producing heaven’s atmosphere. We released the valve and let the waters flow. Let the waters greatly enrich our environment and the environments of those that are around us. So be it in Jesus’ name. Let your grace and truth flow to the hearts, to the ears, to the eyes in the gentleness.

I saw the other day like in India, they have snake charmers. And these snake charmers will have like a flute or something, and the snake becomes docile. And you can take it up and cut its head off, if you want. It’s not combative. It’s calmed down.

He’s given us the anointing… so the Devil would try to do that with us, put us to sleep so that he can cut our heads off, so to speak. And cut us off from the life.

But we have the anointing to bring to every situation for people that are posing themselves or in this place of combativeness and coming against the salvation, posing their soul and doing it with all their might.

Father, we just thank you that you bring a peace and a gentleness that brings to nothing the enemy’s devices. And so the Bible says that we shall take up serpents.

I remember when Paul was on an island, he carried the wood to the fire and a serpent came out and bit him. And what did he do? He just shook it off. Right? But we have the anointing to put that thing to sleep. We have the anointing to maneuver and to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves.

We have the anointing to influence people to cut the sway and that there would be no bite of the serpent when we bring truth and grace to bear… with the words, utterances of God… He gives us great utterances. And what are those? Those are the words of wisdom. It’s the eternal purpose that through the church, the manifold wisdom of God might be made known and that would make the Devil come to nothing. Easy simple solutions to complicated issues.
