This morning, we’re going to receive communion later.
Someone posted a picture of President Trump right before a meeting. Rex Tillerson was on one side and General Mathis on the other side. He asked Ben Carson to open the meeting in prayer. In the picture, all the leaders are bowing their heads before the Lord together. They were all gathered together before the meeting. Dr. Ben Carson prayed a great Holy Ghost given prayer while all the leaders are bowing their heads before the Leader—the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
I was thinking how we can’t back off in prayer. Just because we see progress, we can’t back off. Things are turning. Times in the past, the church has said, “Great!” and then backed off prayer. Then the bottom fell out. So we have to continue and do what we’ve been called to do. We’re joining with thousands and thousands of believers in this country that are lifting up this nation. We’ll not back off but keep contending for God’s will for this country.

When Pastor Ray told me about that meeting, I immediately thought of this prophecy by Sister Jeanne Wilkerson. This was from 1982. She said,
“Yes, I’m going to speak to you. I speak to you as children of the living God and I say unto you, I have brought you into this place on purpose.
I have brought My Word into this place for you and for these few days so that I may speak to you about the times that you are living in. It is time to look to the times that you are living in, saith the Lord. It’s time now (it’s time now of all times) to lift up your eyes and look and pay attention to the things that are going on around you. Yes, I say, pay attention to these things, because I will confirm some things tonight. Yes, I will confirm some things in the next days to this area, to this body, and to these people that have an ear to hear what I have to say. So open that inner ear of yours.
Yes, I’ll confirm those things that you have interceded about. Yes, those things for which you have interceded, those things for which you have prayed will come to pass. I bring them to pass. I bring my servant here tonight to speak to you these things that you must pay attention to. The times and the signs are now. Listen to what you hear. Have that ear to hear what the Spirit saith to you.
If the United States of America knew the Word of God and God’s direction that He has laid down as clearly as can be to the mind that is spiritual, they wouldn’t have to spend billions on defense. It’s because the wisdom of men is not sufficient. Man by wisdom knows not. There is only one mind that is sufficient to keep this universe and the governments of this world operating in perfect harmony and order and that’s the government of God.
If they would listen to what the Spirit is saying in this hour… There are going to rise voices that are going to stand in Washington, DC and proclaim the Word of God in truth and clarity, and the heads of governments are to listen. They are going to listen as never before, for America has her back to the wall. Her mind is stymied. Her conferences are walking out without solutions to problems. She is finding that she is in a blackout. She does not have the answers. The light is not here. She walks in darkness, the mind unenlightened by the power of the living God.
The mind that set this universe in its beginning, that keeps it in perfect order and is moving according to the Word of the living God, is going to be heard more and more in this hour. They will call for it in the secret chamber first before they dare do it openly. They will call for men of the cloth who have the prophetic touch upon their lives to stand and tell them some answers to some problems in this hour, saith the Spirit of the living God.
We’re seeing that more and more. And exactly as Pastor Ray said, this is not the time to stop. It’s not the time to give up. It’s not the time to back away but to press in more and more.
Prayed…
Father, we thank You that You have called us to pray for those in authority
That we may lead godly and peaceable lives in this nation
We have the freedom to do this and so we do it and we thank You that we can come to Your throne in time of need
We still have a time of need in this nation
We’re thankful for the encouraging signs and things that have transpired
Even things our eyes don’t see or ears don’t hear
Things are changing and moving to the right
Father, we continue to press in and according to Your Word, we pray for all those in authority in our nation
Prayer for America…
We lift up our President Donald Trump, his family, staff and cabinet members. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and declare no weapon formed against them shall prosper. No lies, no deception, no deceiving spirits, no catastrophe, no calamity, no insufficiency, no plot of the enemy shall prosper in the name of Jesus Christ. We loose angels, ministering spirits to watch and protect them in all they do. Father, we ask that Your Word would cling to them and they would not depart from Your plan. We ask that you would strengthen them by Your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies, and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions. Let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Father, we ask that You would continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him.
Thank you for Vice President Pence and the anointing that’s upon his life and his stand for You and for Your Word, Father. We thank You for the Spirit of God on the inside that leads and guides him into all truth, that grants him utterance and articulation to give to our President in the name of Jesus. Continually surround him, Father. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing and deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us. And let the wicked be caught in their own devices and brought to shame. Father, that’s Your Word. You said that it would happen, that they would be caught in their own snares. So more and more and more we see that happening in this nation. We thank You for that in Jesus’ name.
Father, we take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our congress, our supreme court, our military leaders, and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. Father, You are the one that creates the hearing ear and the seeing eye. Father, we thank You that You’ll speak not once but more than once to each and every one of them. If they’ve missed something, speak once again, Father, so it’s very clear. You turn the hearts of the kings even as the water pours. We exercise the authority You have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.
We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival, and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders, and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual, and devilish to depart and vanish until Your mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy, and prosperity in Jesus’ name, Amen.
I want to read this that the Lord spoke to Brother Copeland on November 6, 2017. Brother Copeland was talking to brother George and said this.
Kenneth Copeland: You know, a few days ago we were at home in the kitchen and Cindy was showing us the new 2018 calendar and all the pretty pictures and everything. We were looking at all these. It’s a beautiful calendar and I stopped and I looked at that and the Lord said this. It wasn’t audible but it was close. He said, “2018 is the year of the Holy Ghost and fire.” Luke 3:16, “John answered saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water, but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose; he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire.” Glory to God. The big 18 for 2018! The fruit of the spirit: 9 fruit of the Spirit; 9 gifts of the Spirit. Hey! It’s ain’t coming. It’s already here. Glory to God.
But we’re going to have spiritual explosions going on throughout 2018 in the areas, particularly in the areas of holiness and cleansing. Because let me go back to that again. And notice what He was talking about here in that scripture in Luke 3:16. “Whose fan”… talking about Jesus … “is in His hand and He will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.”
You can’t put His fire out. Now the chaff… what is chaff? Well, chaff is the sticks and the stubble and the waste and stuff. You know, you get through sifting the wheat and so forth, and you got nothing but trash left. I want all the trash out of my life. I’m on fire. You remember the scripture said, He will judge with fire and so forth. And I shouted out loud one day, “I don’t want to wait till judgment. Set it on fire now! I want to burn it now!” I want to burn all this hay and stubble. I don’t want none of it in my life. I don’t want anything to get in the way of the anointing of God in my life. I don’t! Thank You, Jesus. I don’t want anything impeding the fruit of the Spirit or the gifts of the Spirit, because without love, you ain’t nothing but noise, brother. But with love, whoa! Hallelujah! Come on, January!
George: Father, in the name of Jesus, we take hold of this word! 2018: the year of the Holy Ghost and fire.
Kenneth: Throughout the United States. Throughout Canada. Throughout all of North America. Hallelujah. The big 18, yes, yes, yes… the 9 fruit of the Spirit and the 9 gifts of the Spirit flowing through the church like never before. Father, we receive it in Jesus’ name. Yes we do and thank You. And we declare it boldly without reservation.

Last Thursday toward the end of prayer, Mary was singing and I felt led to ask her to pray in other tongues. For me, I could understand some of it in English, but I didn’t really have a word about it. After we were done with prayer, two ladies, a mother and daughter (the daughter was maybe in her 20s) came up to me and said while Mary was speaking in other tongues, they both looked at each other. They both heard their home city in another country prayed out. Mary was saying their city and then they heard Mary say “Go! Go! Go!” So she is speaking about their home city, I don’t remember which country it was. The mother had been wanting to go back and visit and was trying to get her daughter stirred up about going back. Then the Holy Spirit spoke out through Mary their city’s name and said, Go! They both heard it separately. I love that!
One other thing. Today the United Nations is set to vote against the United States because we decided to move the embassy to Jerusalem. Our ambassador gave a speech at the UN and said basically, we’ll be taking names of those voting against us. It’s our embassy and Jerusalem is the capital. I love it. We pray for her. The ambassador to the United Nations. We lift her up and plead the blood of Jesus over her for supernatural strength and direction. Again, all these leaders, Lord, that You have a plan and purpose for them. We cover them with the blood to stand strong and not quit.
Someone told me about this. If you go on a trip to Israel, they have camels you can ride for a price. Lately, in Israel, they have camels that have signs on them that say, “Thank you, President Trump, for moving the embassy to Jerusalem.” Another one had a sign, “Make Israel Great Again!” Ahh! I love it. We stand together with Israel. We will never be divided off, separated from Israel. In Jesus’ name.
Before we receive the elements, I want to read from 1st Corinthians from the Amplified. I like how it says in the Message, 1st Corinthians 11. I want to read through this and then Isaiah 53.
Verse 23, “Let me go over with you again exactly what goes on in the Lord’s Supper and why it is so centrally important. I received my instructions from the Master himself and passed them on to you. The Master, Jesus, on the night of his betrayal, took bread. Having given thanks, he broke it and said, This is my body, broken for you. Do this to remember me. After supper, he did the same thing with the cup: This cup is my blood, my new covenant with you. Each time you drink this cup, remember me.”
What we’re doing is recalling what He did for us.
“What you must solemnly realize is that every time you eat this bread and every time you drink this cup, you reenact in your words and actions the death of the Master. You will be drawn back to this meal again and again until the Master returns. You must never let familiarity breed contempt.
27-28 Anyone who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Master irreverently is like part of the crowd that jeered and spit on him at his death. Is that the kind of “remembrance” you want to be part of? Examine your motives, test your heart, come to this meal in holy awe.
29-32 If you give no thought (or worse, don’t care) about the broken body of the Master when you eat and drink, you’re running the risk of serious consequences. That’s why so many of you even now are listless and sick, and others have gone to an early grave. If we get this straight now, we won’t have to be straightened out later on. Better to be confronted by the Master now than to face a fiery confrontation later.”
Then in Isaiah 53:4, “Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. (Amp.)

That’s our physical bodies but it includes every kind of prosperity… He did it on the cross for us.
