Prayer Summary For Tuesday, November 15, 2016

Prayed…

Thank You, Father, for the presence of Your Holy Spirit
What a miracle
What a beautiful plan
Over and over, every day we are so thankful
You lead us because You said You would
And You have never changed
You’re leading us today like You did yesterday, today, tomorrow
Thank You for Your strength, the anointing is our lives
By Your Spirit within us, ways are being made and plans are already being prepared
We welcome Your presence here in Jesus’ name

Scripture focus…

The Woman at the Well
4 1-3 Jesus realized that the Pharisees were keeping count of the baptisms that he and John performed (although his disciples, not Jesus, did the actual baptizing). They had posted the score that Jesus was ahead, turning him and John into rivals in the eyes of the people. So Jesus left the Judean countryside and went back to Galilee.

(I just thought this was interesting too. I don’t know why this stuck out to me. He realized that the Pharisees where keeping count of the baptisms that He and John performed. Although in parenthesis His disciples, not Jesus, did the actual baptizing. It’s funny that it’s even in the Bible. Jesus wasn’t doing the baptizing, they were. But they were posting the score that Jesus was ahead. What? This is not an election, its baptisms… turning him and John into rivals. So guess what He does? He leaves. I don’t know if He was like “okay you guys are taking count of what is happening here and trying to make John a rival with me so I am out of here.” Basically that is what He did.)

4-6 To get there, he had to pass through Samaria. He came into Sychar, a Samaritan village that bordered the field Jacob had given his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was still there. Jesus, worn out by the trip, sat down at the well. It was noon.

7-8 A woman, a Samaritan, came to draw water. Jesus said, “Would you give me a drink of water?” (His disciples had gone to the village to buy food for lunch.)

9 The Samaritan woman, taken aback, asked, “How come you, a Jew, are asking me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?” (Jews in those days wouldn’t be caught dead talking to Samaritans.)

10 Jesus answered, “If you knew the generosity of God and who I am, you would be asking me for a drink, and I would give you fresh, living water.”

11-12 The woman said, “Sir, you don’t even have a bucket to draw with, and this well is deep. So how are you going to get this ‘living water’? Are you a better man than our ancestor Jacob, who dug this well and drank from it, he and his sons and livestock, and passed it down to us?”

13-14 Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks this water will get thirsty again and again. Anyone who drinks the water I give will never thirst-not ever. The water I give will be an artesian spring within, gushing fountains of endless life.”

(To me that’s when we are drinking “flesh” things. Do you know that even if you get a new car today there will be a day that will come when you will just go “okay, well whatever.” Isn’t that right? Well, okay, I got a car. You know how people when they get a motorcycle and then pretty soon they want a bigger one. They are not satisfied with what it is that they have. It can be with anything: clothes, houses, land. The things that we would be thirsty for over and over and over again are the things of the natural but the things of the spirit we should know by now that it’s within and it’s up to us to stir ourselves up and get the well springing up. It’s up to us. It’s already been done for us. It’s living water from within.)

15 The woman said, “Sir, give me this water so I won’t ever get thirsty, won’t ever have to come back to this well again!”

16 He said, “Go call your husband and then come back.”

17-18 “I have no husband,” she said.

“That’s nicely put: ‘I have no husband.’ You’ve had five husbands, and the man you’re living with now isn’t even your husband. You spoke the truth there, sure enough.”

19-20 “Oh, so you’re a prophet! Well, tell me this: Our ancestors worshiped God at this mountain, but you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place for worship, right?”

21–23 “Believe me, woman, the time is coming when you Samaritans will worship the Father neither here at this mountain nor there in Jerusalem. You worship guessing in the dark; we Jews worship in the clear light of day. God’s way of salvation is made available through the Jews. But the time is coming-it has, in fact, come-when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter.

23–24 “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself-Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their, true selves, in adoration.” John 4:1-24 (Message)

So when we get in our minds, what do we do next? Oh, get in our spirit. We are to worship Him in our spirit. Last week in the chapel I looked over at someone and they seemed like they were somewhere else. They weren’t here. They were in the Spirit. That’s the place the Bible makes clear to us where He is well pleased with us. So if we ever get so used to the songs that we sing… that’s why we need a new song. That’s why we need songs from heaven to get our attention and get us into our spirit that we might worship Him in spirit and truth in the Spirit.

We will never ever thirst again when we are drinking, when we are filled with the living water that He promised us. We are not going to be thirsty. We can’t go around saying “I am so thirsty, Lord.” Well, get yourself with some brothers or sisters and get yourself in a prayer group or get in the presence somehow, someway and get yourself stirred up. I am speaking to myself, too. I am not just speaking at you. I am just lifting this point up before heaven. That we know for a fact if we are thirsty, it’s just that we are thirsty for things that be natural. For spiritual things, we seek after more, we want more, but we are not thirsty because He already said we would never thirst again. Amen. So we have more than enough in us to carry us all the way through.

Continued praying…

We don’t want to stay the same
Your Word is true, it will come to pass
You have met our needs
You have filled us with Your Spirit
We are up, over, and above
We can do all things in and through You
Believing that for our nation
We are one nation under God
Jesus is the way maker
Things have already been set up
Individually, for the Church, and our nation
It’s a set up!
And God almighty has set it up
By the blood shed on that day on Calvary
On the Cross when He said “It is finished”
Thank You, Father, hallelujah

Ms. Annie shared…

He just wants our hearts.

Pastor Ray shared…

Why would that be so hard for us, to just yield and give Him our hearts? Why is that such a fight at times? I think that maybe because our flesh wants to rule and it wants to reign. It wants to do what it wants to do but God by the Spirit has given us the authority to override our flesh and yield to the Spirit over and over and over again. Hallelujah. He’s a big God!

Ms. Annie shared…

How did the sheep who was found when He left the 99 and He went and found the sheep that was lost, how did that sheep repent? He allowed Him to pick him up and carry him. Our flesh wants to feel like we have to do something. But what He really wants is for us to let Him do everything. Let Him love us. Just receive His love. Let Him carry us close to His heart.

Ms. Annie led us in worship…

Continued praying…

It’s not a prayer or song that we are giving You
You give to us that we would give it back
You deserve all the glory and honor and praise
I keep hearing “If I can change the nation from blue to red, I can take care of whatever you have that needs to be done
Whatever change that you have lifted to Me, I have changed the nation from blue to red
I will change it!
Because I have already said, “It is finished”
I am not speaking just about a political change
I am speaking about a spiritual change that has already begun
And this United States will never be the same again
For if the prayers had not been lifted
If the voices had not spoken
Things would have turned and changed in ways you would not want to know
But because of My Word and the prayers of My church that were lifted up to heaven
Because of the blood that was shed at Calvary
This nation is just one nation under God but there will be more
There are other nations hanging in the balance right now
Looking like they would never move
But the move has begun!
And it will be world-wide change, sayeth the Lord! Hallelujah
It’s the way it is, it’s the way it will continually be
Leaders are already beginning to speak out really I’d say almost by faith
Saying “If the United States can move in that way, then why not my nation?”
Thank You, Father
We are humbled by what You have done and what You are doing
By what You said all the way throughout Your Word
Your Word is the same yesterday, today and forever
Praying over the sheep
Lifting up the whole body today
Things that looked like they wouldn’t change – they are changing
Things being rearranged from heaven is a good rearranging
The ways, the plans have already been made
The resources have already been sent
The visibility of the Church is expanding
So church “Rise up!”
Pleading the blood over the body that they would not be moved by the flesh
But pursuing and contending for greater
Visibility of the body of Christ will be world wide
Those that laughed will see what the body is
Seeing the fruit, the manifestation of God’s glory coming through the Church
The signs, the wonderful events, nations changed
They will know something is greater than just the natural way
A supernatural blessing from heaven
Thank You, Father
Lifting up souls, that every man, woman, and child would come in
There is room in heaven

Ms. Annie led us singing “Jesus is Calling”

He’s calling “Come to Me You weary ones
You thirsty one
Come, come, come to Me
There is water ever flowing
Forgiveness for every sin
And there is freedom for every captive
Come to Me, come to Me, come to Me
And enter in
Come to Me, come to Me, come to Me
And enter in

Don’t you know My Yoke is easy and My burden is light
If you are burned out on religion just come to My heart
Because I want to give you freedom
For the souls of man for whom I died
Oh precious, precious, precious souls
I am shouting now, I am shouting to the ends of the earth!
Angels go carrying it, carry my new birth
Carry it on the feet of men whose ways You clear out and make smooth
My words of truth
I said I love you, each and every one
When I look at you I say “My beloved son and daughter”
You are My beloved, My beloved, My beloved
So come

Continued praying…

Our God reigns
The former rain and the latter rain
The promises from heaven above written in the Word
Shall come true
The Church has risen and the Church will rise
For there is more
So the glory it shall come and manifest throughout the earth
And the end it shall come and it shall rise
Our heavenly homes are prepared
Forever and ever and ever we shall bow and worship the King of kings
More and more and more are entering in
Their voices will be heard louder and louder
And more and more than ever before will say “Yes, Lord”
Thank You for this Day Tuesday
Blessed in everything we do
Spirit, soul, and body
Every part prosperous
We will be where we need to be with a word in season
Heaven-sent word bringing forth a shout of victory
Prosperity and joy to go all the way through
Thank You for coming and bringing your supply
Amen
