Prayer Summary for Tuesday, December 12, 2017

Ms. Annie led us singing Praying in the Spirit in a Brand New Tongue…

Pastor Ray shared…

I had a little picture in my spirit as we were singing. What was intended to be absolute chaos in New York City the other day was stopped through prayer. It was stopped through the prayers of the saints and by the blood of the Lamb, by men and women of God doing what they have been called on to do – praying in the Spirit in a brand new tongue. If every day is a new day and it is, then in every day there are new tongues to pray. For there are new operations that must come forth and words that must be declared for the day that we are standing in today, Tuesday.

Ms. Annie, would you share what Brother Copeland saw awhile back when he was leaving after a meeting here? Ms. Annie shared this yesterday but if you were not here, I want you to hear this. It’s about words.

Ms. Annie shared…

When Brother Copeland was here, he talked about words and how we live in a word created, word upheld—He upholds all things by the words of His power—word dominated universe. He described how after delivering his message concerning words he was leaving the church and traveling back to his hotel. On the freeway his eyes were opened to the spirit realm and it was just jammed with demonic spirits, forces and they were all trying to create destruction and havoc, accidents, and trouble. There were also multitudes of good angels, God’s angels, who were hovering and working and protecting. What God was showing him was that the deciding factor is words. We speak the words of God. God’s words are always working. God’s words are settled forever in the heavens but in the earth we are the agreeing attorney or deciding witness. We must agree with God’s words! And the words we say have so much power. (tongues) So speaking His words and then (tongues) His word.

Ms. Jeanie shared…

I saw the picture of Benjamin Franklin when he discovered electricity as he holds up I think it’s a key. You see the electricity from heaven is attracted to that key. The key is when we speak the word. We are that conduit. Heaven on earth today.

Ms. Annie…

The words that I speak are not my own. It is the Father who dwells within me.

Ms. Jeanie…

Today, no more delay
We put off the old wine skin of delay
We put it off and we receive the new wine skin – today
The kingdom here on earth on Tuesday, December 12, 2017

Ms. Annie…

And say not “it’s here” or say not “it’s there.” Amen. I say unto you the kingdom of God is within you.

Pastor Ray…

I like that picture though. Let’s say if it’s like a pendulum. Evil darkness is moving but we start speaking and the ministering spirits start working on our behalf and push that darkness out of the way. That’s why we speak words over our country, over our nation – good words.

Ms. Annie…

Voice activated, voice activated (ha, ha, ha). But when you shared about New York, I saw a veil. You know the veil between the physical and the spiritual is so thin. In the spirit realm our words travel back and forth. And it is true what you said concerning the prayers of the saints (tongues). They penetrated. They went across that veil where, in the natural, nobody knew what that person was going to do. But in the spirit the angels responded to exactly what the saints were praying. And they took those words and they acted on them and great destruction was thwarted for all to see. Hallelujah! Glory to God!

So when we pray in the Spirit in a brand new tongue, we are speaking our Father’s will through the Son. And with our hearts we believe the answer has come.

Pastor Ray…

Who was it that wrote that song “Praying in the Spirit in a Brand New Tongue”?

Ms. Annie…

It was David Ingles.

Pastor Ray…

I have said this at least once before but he came with Brother Hagin to Minneapolis many years ago. Somehow the okay was given for them use First Baptist church downtown for the meetings. Sandy and I used to go there. We got married there. We got baptized there. So, we had sort of a connection for sure to First Baptist church. When it was advertised that he would be speaking, Sandy and her mom were like “oh, we got to go.” Both of them were filled with the Holy Ghost but I wasn’t. Sandy said to me “Let’s go. We used to go there. It’s First Baptist.” We end up going and we are seated up in the balcony. David Ingles was playing. That was like a soft way in and I thought it is great and I also loved the message that Brother Hagin gave. But Billye Brim was there with another lady and at some point in the service they got up on the stage and started praying in the Spirit. They actually crawled inside what was a huge podium. It was big enough to do that. They were down in there and they were praying in other tongues and it just about drove me off the balcony. I thought “what in the world is this?” I thought it was fake (ha, ha, ha). I thought they were making that up. I had never heard of something like that. And they would go back and forth between each other behind the podium (ha, ha, ha). I guess it put a seed in me, that later on when someone came to the church and ministered speaking in other tongues, I was able to receive that.

But wow, every time I hear that song…. And David Ingles is like such a sweet man. I know he has a lot of other music but that is my favorite.

Ms. Annie led us again singing Praying in the Spirit in a Brand New Tongue

Pastor Ray shared…

What I just heard is if the enemy is trying to tell you that you are worthless, that is the absolute biggest lie on the face of the earth. God has put within each one of us the power of the Holy Spirit. And when we pray and use what we have been given, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and begin to continually declare by the Spirit things like what was stopped in New York and many other things that have already been stopped that we don’t even know about because yielded ourselves to the Holy Ghost… Every single one of us, we are important! The Devil is a liar and the Devil is defeated. And each one of us has gifts given to us by the power of the Holy Spirit – gifts and fruit!

Prayed…

Whenever the enemy would try and say “you are wasting your time”
We are never wasting our time!
Praying in the Spirit in a brand new tongue!
Groaning or rolling or leaping and running
Whatever it is that He gives us individually to do
Corporately together it’s much, much, more powerful than it is alone
But getting with brothers and sisters in the Lord, praying in the Holy Ghost
Will rev it up! And stir it up! The gift that is within
And the fire of the Holy Ghost will burn brighter and brighter and brighter
And age has nothing to do with it (ha, ha, ha)
A brand new believer filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues
And a believer that has been speaking in tongues for 30 year
It’s the power of the Holy Ghost!
It’s working and changing and stopping and rearranging
Or opening or closing – Hallelujah, glory to God!

The following excerpt was taken from Tongues from the Upper Room by Kenneth E. Hagin:

ROMANS 8:26-27
26 … The Spirit itself [a better translation would be ‘Himself’] maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

In the early days of my ministry, P.C. Nelson (we young ministers called him “Dad Nelson”) was considered the number one authority on the Greek language in America. I didn’t go to Dad Nelson’s Bible school, but I heard him preach a number of times, and I collected almost all the books he ever published. He had 12 years of higher education, and! once heard him say that he could speak and write 32 different languages. (That beats me by 31!)

When commenting on this verse, Dad Nelson said, “Actually, the Greek literally says, ‘The Holy Spirit maketh intercession for us in groanings that cannot be uttered in articulate speech:” He went on to explain that “articulate speech” refers to our regular kind of speech. Dad Nelson went on to point out that these “groanings” also included praying in other tongues. Paul is talking about utterances or groanings in prayer that “cannot be uttered in articulate speech.

Dad Nelson stressed that these groanings are not something the Holy Ghost does apart from you. Rather, the Holy Spirit helps you pray in groanings.

The Amplified version of First Corinthians 14: 14 shows us more clearly our relationship with the Holy Spirit in prayer: “For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me] prays … Again, when you pray in tongues, it is your spirit by the Holy Spirit within you praying. The Holy Spirit within gives you the utterance, and you speak it out of your spirit. You do the talking-He gives the utterance.

By this method, then, the Holy Spirit helps you to pray according to the perfect will of God-and to pray out the perfect will of God. This is the way things should be prayed for!

ROMANS 8:27
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints ACCORDING TO THE WI LL OF GOD.

Praying in the Spirit in groanings is also something the Holy Spirit does not do apart from you. Those groanings are prompted by the Holy Ghost, coming from deep inside you. But you allow them to escape your lips as you open your mouth and pray.

Years ago, during a seminar we were holding in the early days of RHEMA Bible Training Center, a woman came over to speak to me as I walked off the platform at the end of the service. She was a denominational lady who’d just recently been filled with the Holy Spirit. She said, “You know, Brother Hagin, since I found out Romans 8:26 and 27 says that the Holy Ghost does my praying for me, I don’t pray much anymore.”

Like this woman, some folks try to build a doctrine on this one isolated text in Romans 8 and make it say something it doesn’t say. “Well, if the Holy Ghost is praying for me:’ they say, “He knows how to get the job done, so there is no use for me to pray”

But you can readily see that this statement is unscriptural because the Bible constantly exhorts us to pray. Second, Romans 8:26 is not saying that the Holy Ghost does our praying for us. He helps us pray out in groanings according to the perfect will of God.

ROMANS 8:26
26 LIKEWISE THE SPIRIT ALSO HELPETH OUR INFIRMITIES: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself [Himself] maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Paul starts off by saying that the Holy Spirit helps us to pray. Then Paul shows one way the Holy Ghost helps us-in groanings!

The Spirit of God will alert you to pray, but you must respond. He won’t make you do something. He won’t make you pray just like He won’t do your praying for you. That would make Him responsible for your prayer life, and He isn’t responsible-you are. He’s been sent to dwell in you as your Intercessor and your Helper in prayer. Now it’s up to you to cooperate with Him and do the praying!

Pastor Ray…

You know in that scripture it tells us that He will help us in our infirmities or in our inability to know what to pray for. He is not helping us to pray. He is helping us to know what to pray for. We know how to pray. How do we do that? We open our mouths and we being to pray. We pray either in our English, known tongue, or in tongues, in the Spirit.

Do you remember how Brother Copeland declared for 2018? He said in 2018 and even right now, the church is waking up. Things are changing. Don’t you believe it? Things are changing. Is it over? No. there is a lot of changing that still must come. Hallelujah.

I was just wondering about Sarah Huckabee when she comes out on the world’s stage and the media tries to sidetrack her, have her make mistakes. She must seriously pray before she gets out there. I think it was a couple days ago where one person in the press would not stop coming after her. And she kept repeating “No. We are moving on to someone else.” He kept going on and on. But she kept saying “No. We are going to this other gentleman.” Finally he just shut up. That’s a picture of the Devil. I am not calling this person a devil but that it is how the devil works.

And if things are not happening like they should be happening… Ms. Jeanie would be a good one to declare it. When should it happen?

Ms. Jeanie…

Right now!

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Continued praying…

Revivals are beginning to pop up
Ministers, those in positions of authority in the Church are being revived
To what You said in Your Word – to the power of Your precious Holy Spirit
That the baptism of the Holy Spirit will begin to move like rain, move like the wind all across this nation
Oooohhhhhh!
Those that have even spoken against it, they will receive it
And then they will speak for it
Just like Paul turned his life around, was killing the Church, going after every believer
And then he became a believer
Thank You, Father, for Your boldness in and through the Church!
We speak words of life and truth in a bold way!
And those revival days will turn into the great awakening!
Thank You for Your goodness, mercy and prosperity in this nation

Ms. Annie led us singing There is Power in the Blood of Jesus

Scripture focus…

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. (2) I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (3) Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. (4) He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. (5) You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, (6) nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. (7) A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. (8) You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. (9) If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, (10) no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. (11) For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; (12) they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. (13) You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. (14) “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. (15) He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. (16) With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalms 91 (NIV)

Continue to pray…

You are our refuge – in You we trust!
And it’s by the blood that was shed at Calvary that we overcome in these days that we are living in now
And we declare it and declare it and declare it and declare it!
Testify about it and declare it again!
We overcome by the blood!
Our families overcome by the blood! This ministry overcomes through the blood!
Our pastors Mac and Lynne overcome because of the blood!
Hallelujah! (ha, ha, ha) Thank You Father
Every work, plan, decision that needs to be made
Covered by the blood – thank You Father
We cover this whole country in the blood of the Lamb
These are good days! These are God’s days!
These are Holy days! This soil that we are standing on is holy ground
Holy are You Lord!

Ms. Annie led us in singing You are Holy Lord…

Continued praying…

Father, we humble ourselves before You
We know we overcome because You overcame
When the plans You have set forth for each one of us work out
We know that it is all You, it’s not our strength
Knowing we are not so great and that’s why things are good
But that You are great and that’s why things turn good!
We give You all of the thanksgiving Lord!
Thank You for the future that is good and great
That Your grace and Your mercy and Your kindness is working for us
Hallelujah, Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
It’s You we adore, we glorify and magnify You!
Thank You Father!
It’s a good day, it’s a new day, it’s a holy day
We have never been here before – welcome to a new day!
New hour, new times, new plans, new connections, new protection
New money, new resources
Ooooooohh! Thank You for Tuesday!
In Jesus’ name, Amen
