Effectual Prayer
Jesus is our great example for everything that we do. And even though He is our High Priest, while He was here on the earth He operated as a man who was dependent upon the Holy Spirit. So we must ask ourselves how Jesus had the power to perform the signs and wonders that He did.
Jesus was born of the Spirit, but He still had to maintain continual contact with the Father through prayer. He was able to perform such miraculous signs and wonders because the Holy Spirit produced them through Him.
Hebrews 5:7 says, “Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared.” This Scripture is not telling us that Jesus was afraid of God the Father. Rather, Jesus so respected and relied upon the Father to perform the works that He continually kept His communication with Him intact.
James describes our own need to remain in constant contact with the Father. “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). What is the “effectual fervent prayer” James is talking about?
If all the prayers that believers have prayed throughout history had been “effectual fervent prayer,” the entire world would be knocking down the doors of the church to get saved. But sadly, most of our prayers have been just for show. Rarely do we pray in private. And when we do come out in public to pray, we tend to speak forth our prayers with pomp and ceremony. But if our prayers are just lip service, we’d be better off on effectual, fervent prayers that we can’t afford to pray ineffectually.

Father, we stir those things up in our hearts today
Have Your way in our lives and in our hearts
Praying for grace to be on each and every believer
Yes, we pray for downloads of Your Spirit to Your people
Help us to let go of that which holds us back
We are letting go of all condemnation and shame, Lord
Your grace is ministering to us, and we release all of our cares on to You
Yes, You are raising up Your body for these days and times
Father, we pray over hearts that have been broken, and we pray for restoration in every area
Today is a new day, a new opportunity to obey!
Thank You for supernatural grace to flow over each and every one of us
We will step up and obey in the name of Jesus
Lifting up our nation, and we speak grace over America
Grant peace and grace over the leaders of America, Father
Strongholds be cast down in the name of Jesus
Be broken down and moved out of the way, you have no hold on us
Those things are being opened, hearts are being opened!
Doors are being prepared by the hand of God
Open it up now, we command those things to be opened up in Jesus’ name
Break away, break away!
We pray for more now, an increase in Jesus’ name
Father, we lift up Israel and we pray for protection over them, Lord
Yes, Lord, we send the orders and supplies to them
Calling for an increase of angels to be in the land of Israel today!
We cry out for that, let Your way be made straight
Open up the door, make a way for the coming of the Lord
Yes, it is a new day, a new time!
Open hearts, open eyes, and have mercy on Your people
Praying for mercy and grace to be over Israel, and we stand against the enemy today!
Be cast down and out in the name of Jesus
We apply the blood of Jesus over the borders of Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem
Praying for supernatural and divine wisdom over those leaders, Lord
All Israel shall be saved, that is our prayer, Father
Yes, we pray for each one of them, those in the Arab world and beyond
Praying for greater awakenings and revivals, a greater manifestation of Your love would cover them
You will have Your way throughout those nations
Thank You for a greater visitation of Your Spirit all across those lands
We claim souls and lives in these days, Father
Yes, we will stand up and claim souls and salvations in the Arab and Muslim worlds
Father, You are showing up in Pakistan, Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon today!
Praying and interceding for these regions, that their eyes would be opened
We encircle the North, the South, the East and the West
Yes, the light is shining out of darkness, praying for revival and supernatural awakening
Declaring for a shifting in that region in the name of Jesus
We pray for their eyes to be opened, that they would see the truth of Your Word
Praying for missionaries and believers to be strengthened in these last days
Yes, we pray for a reinforcing and a fresh inspiration and a supply of Your Spirit on and over us
Father, You must open eyes and ears, that they would see and know the Lamb of God
We call for signs, wonders, and miracles of every kind
Let Your Word and Your will prosper in Israel, Lord
The foundation has been laid, and we pray for a sounding of Your trumpet
Yes the time is now, strengthen that which is weak, Father
Hold on there is more to come!
New missions, new plans, new miracles, and new methods!
Higher now, we are coming up higher now
We are moving higher into the realm of God
Come up, come up wherever you are!
It is time to rise and to thrive in the fullness of God’s purpose and favor
Calling for a release of Your Spirit in these days
We will step up now, and we will run the race You have set before us
Casting down all darkness in Jesus’ name
Yes, we will cooperate with You and Your Spirit
It is opening, it is opening
Those opportunities are being opened, that which we have prayed for is being opened
Angels are opening those doors for us to step through
Thank You for Your favor that surrounds us today, Lord
You have prepared a place for us, and we call for healing and restoration
Thank You for the keys, keys to open doors!
We praise and worship You, Father
Your presence is on and around us today
Bless the Lord, glory be to God
We declare that today is the day that You have made
Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord
Glory be to God, we love You, Father
We worship and honor You
You are the King of Kings and the Lord of all Lords
Lord, You are worthy and holy
Calling for breakthroughs of every kind
Let the harvest increase in Jesus’ name
Lord, let Your will be done in this time and in this hour
You are the way maker, and we thank You for it, Lord

Father, we cast down all harassing thoughts and we pray for peace to be over us
We thank You for the blood of Jesus that wipes away every stain
Declaring that each and every believer would be covered by the blood of Jesus
Casting down every harassing thought the enemy would try to attack us with
The blood is against you, and those things are being broken off today!
Today is the day of victory!
All shame, trauma, and that depressive state is being cast down
We pray for peace over our minds and hearts
Thank You for the peace that is surrounding us
You are so good, so kind, and so beautiful
