Prayer Summary for August 14

Scripture Focus…

“(42) Watch therefore [give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day [whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming. (43) But understand this: had the householder known in what [part of the night, whether in a night or a morning] watch the thief was coming, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be undermined and broken into. (44) You also must be ready therefore, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him. (45) Who then is the faithful, thoughtful, and wise servant, whom his master has put in charge of his household to give to the others the food and supplies at the proper time? (46) Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is that servant whom, when his master comes, he will find so doing. (47) I solemnly declare to you, he will set him over all his possessions. (48) But if that servant is wicked and says to himself, My master is delayed and is going to be gone a long time, (49) And begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with the drunken, (50) The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour of which he is not aware, (51) And will punish him [cut him up by scourging] and put him with the pretenders (hypocrites); there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.”
(Matt. 24:42-51 Amp.)

“(42-51) So stay awake, alert. You have no idea what day your Master will show up. But you do know this: You know that if the homeowner had known what time of night the burglar would arrive, he would have been there with his dogs to prevent the break-in. Be vigilant just like that. You have no idea when the Son of Man is going to show up. Who here qualifies for the job of overseeing the kitchen? A person the Master can depend on to feed the workers on time each day. Someone the Master can drop in on unannounced and always find him doing his job. A God-blessed man or woman, I tell you. It won’t be long before the Master will put this person in charge of the whole operation. But if that person only looks out for himself, and the minute the Master is away does what he pleases—abusing the help and throwing drunken parties for his friends—the Master is going to show up when he least expects it and make hash of him. He’ll end up in the dump with the hypocrites, out in the cold shivering, teeth chattering.”
(Matt. 24:42-51 The Message)

Prayed…

Lord, we are so thankful for what you have done for us
Through the covering of the blood we can walk in freedom and favor
We want to serve you right and go all the way
There is nothing too big for our God and Father!
We know there is still time for things to change
Reaching out into that and calling it down and out
Watching that being restored and made better than ever before
Not leaning on our own understanding
Calling that to turn in the right plan
A supernatural bringing back together
The good Shepherd is bringing back the one lost sheep!
One touch will wash away the past
Today is a day of advancement and furtherance
The Father is bringing His children together
By faith we enter into the supernatural pull of the Spirit
Entering into strong places
The Church will continue to increase and shine brighter!
Father, thank You that we are moving higher with Your strength
Praying over leadership positions in the Body!
No weapon formed against them shall prosper because of the blood!
We want more of Your presence in our lives
For our hearts to be softened more!
We will not put our trust in anything but You!
The way has been opened and planed for you, so go through!
We say, “We have overcome by the blood!”
Calling and expecting the new
Thank You for Your spoken and written words to us!
With you we will never fail!
