Good morning, everybody. We are glad to be in the house of the Lord again this morning together as the body of Christ.
God wants to prepare the church for His Second Coming…
What Kathy prayed just right there is so prophetic and apropos for the time and the season that we live in. In fact, if you caught Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne last night here at Living Word, he really spoke to the fact that God is working to prepare the church right now for His Second Coming. That the church needs to be prepared and needs to be positioned and needs to be awakened for the time and the season in which we’re in, which is just before His eminent return.
And one of the other things that stood out to me that he reminded us of which we’ve heard from our own pastor, Pastor Mac, in a series he’s doing right now is that there’s also a shaking going on. Not a shaking for destruction, but a shaking for our benefit. The church’s benefit that we would be awakened, that we would be aroused in a spiritual sense. Another thing I want to add to that is that I believe the shaking and the preparing is meant for us to live as God always intended us to live, which was in the presence of God… from the presence of God.
Your life will depend on your prayer life…
Whereas the truth is, we’re coming into an hour where your life will depend on your prayer life. It always has really, but it will more and more be apparent that our lives are dependent on our nourishment in His Word and our time in His presence through prayer. And that we’re going to be able to navigate the coming time. We’re going to need to hear from God on a daily basis…
To know what our instructions are
To know what our next steps are
To know how to navigate situations
To know how to come out on the other side of what the world is going through successfully, fruitfully.
Because while the world looks in chaos and darkness is encroaching, this is to be our time and our season to shine as the body of Christ.
Romans 13:11…
And let me just remind you of a passage found in Romans 13:11. It says, “And do this knowing the time that is now is high time to awake out of sleep. For now, our salvation is near than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy, but put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lust.”
How the saints are to roll in this hour…
Now let me read something else here just to add to that that goes along with what I’m saying here today. And this doesn’t just apply to a minister in a pulpit or someone with some specific calling that you deem important. I’m talking about bottom-line Christianity. How the saints are to roll in this hour, which is like no other hour. How we did life… how we did our spiritual journey in the past. Maybe that was fine for its time, but I’m here to announce and remind us that we’ve stepped over into a new time, a new season, a new hour that has been prepared, I believe for us and not against us, but one that requires a new way of functioning, a new level of spiritual skillfulness, as I often point out.
It requires that we live lives in the Word and lives of prayer because our lives really do depend on it. Not just because we’re in the end of days, but because that was God’s original design and intent long ago, is that He would create a humanity that would have the ability to choose Him and follow Him, a people who would not live out of their intellect exclusively or out of their physicalness or out of the knowledge of this world, but that we would live out of the “supernatural-ness” that is His Holy Spirit.
We are transformed into a new creature…
The Bible proclaims it’s not to be by might or by man’s power or by your best practices, but by the Holy Spirit… by the Spirit of God. You were imbibed by the Spirit of Jesus upon receiving Him through salvation, so that on the inside, you and I could be completely renovated and transformed into a new creature in Christ as the Bible reveals, a species that never existed before, one that is completely sanctified through and through. Despite what you went through in your past, despite your mistakes, the blood of Jesus is just that great—
Great enough to renovate us
Great enough to transform us
Great enough to make us pure and white in every sense from a spiritual standpoint.
So that on the inside, we would be able to be recipients of God the Holy Spirit who came down. Jesus Himself personally sent Him to us. Jesus said, “It’s to your advantage, your profit, that I go back to the Father. Because if I go back to the Father, then I will send a down payment on your salvation. I will send the great and mighty Holy Spirit. And because you’ve been sanctified, because you’ve been justified, because a temple has been made right on the inside of you, He will indwell you and me so that no longer will we live on our own and by ourselves into our own devices. But now we live as God men and God women. As a people who are like unto Jesus, not Jesus, not God, but sons and daughters of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.”
See yourself differently…
So I encourage you in that today. See yourself differently. Choose to draw in His words from His Book. Choose to breathe in the ambiance of the Holy Spirit in this place or in your home or wherever you’re streaming this. And recognize that it is the atmosphere of heaven that has come to earth for such a time and such a people as us. That we would not go it alone, but that we would live in partnership with the Spirit, through prayer, through His Word, growing stronger, not weaker, but stronger with each passing day, experiencing His abundance and His goodness in new faceted ways.
The Spirit is in you, causing you to rise above adversity…
The Lord likes to show His goodness to His children. There’s no end to the facets or the expressions of God’s goodness. I think one of the greatest ways He’s shown His goodness is by bestowing or putting within us His Spirit. So recognize and be aware He’s in you, and He’s going to cause you to rise above adversity today. He’s going to cause you to have prayers to pray because He grants prayers to the saints, not to just keep them within us, but to express them. And worship with them and decree and declare those inspired utterances. You and me! It doesn’t matter what you did in the past, the blood is greater. His Word is greater. And it says that you are justified. In other words, in His eyes, just as if you had never sinned, just as if you had always obeyed. You are worthy. You are holy in Him. Because of the blood! Look to Jesus and discover yourself.

Brother Hagin, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit many years ago, proclaimed these words. Just let them sink into your spirit as I share them.
Kenneth Hagin: I can hear the Spirit of God saying, “Hear and hear you well. For you see, responsibility is upon your shoulders. Responsibility is upon the followers of Christ to loose those around about them, from the grave clothes to which they are bound. And they’ll never be loose until you loose them. Enter into the ministry of prayer. ‘Oh, I wish I could do something for the Lord. I wish was called to preach.’ But yes, saith God, the greatest ministry of all is the Ministry of Prayer. The greatest ministry of all is the ministry of intercession. And even all the other ministries will fail unless the intercessors will take their place and stand against the forces of darkness and the forces of evil and will intercede and will help to bring forth, to bring to birth the move of the Spirit, the revival, the manifestation of God’s power and bring to birth the ministries that God desires. Supernatural ministries to be in manifestation in the church, but it will take those who will travail, or pray. It will take those who will bring to birth those ministries. And oftentimes the one who stands to minister, many will look upon him or her and think, ‘Oh, he’s a mighty man or woman of God and he should get all the benefit.’ But you see, the reward will go to him or her who has not given birth to it. He is the result of it. A result of the birth. The birth was caused by those who had travailed. Or you could say prayed. Until that was brought forth what God desired to bring forth.
So prayer births things…
And he’s saying that it’s the one who births things, brings things forth through prayer and intercession that will receive the reward. So in this day, in this hour, there is a work of God that has not yet been accomplished. Oh, yes. He was in the move of healing. He was in the move and instigated and men prayed and brought about the revival that was called the charismatic movement, the denominational church in the Catholic church. And what a mighty move it was. But you see, now you stand says the Spirit of God on the threshold of another move of God.
I believe that’s right where we’re at right now.
“Will it be brought forth?” Or you could say, will it be birthed? “Shall I bring it to birth and not bring it forth? Oh, sayeth the Lord of hosts, when Zion travailed… “Zion is us. “When Zion prayed,” you could say, “she brought forth her children. You see it through men. He uses His church to do His work in the earth. It is instigated, or you could say initiated, by the Spirit. But you see, it is Zion, or you could say it is the church, that travails. It’s the church that intercedes. It’s the church that prays. So travail, ye. Travail.”

Father, we thank you for the privilege to enter into the Ministry of Prayer. We thank you for the privilege to partner with you. Holy Spirit, we recognize your presence here and that you are with us, that you’re not only for us and not against us, but you’re in us. You’re with us. And so we just yield to your presence this morning. Holy Spirit, we yield to your direction and your ways. We yield to your words today and the prayers that you desire to pray. We consecrate our hearts and our lives to you this morning.

One of the things the Lord keeps saying to me is we have to know who we are. This is a time and an hour where we have to know what the blood of Jesus did. And so I want to read this. I felt like He said to read this. This is a song and I’m just going to read the lyrics.
“I was a wretch. I remember who I was. I was lost. I was blind. I was running out of time. Sin separated. The breach was far too wide. But from the far side of the chasm, you held me in your sight. So you made a way across the great divide, left behind Heaven’s throne to build it here inside in us. And there at the cross, You paid the debt I owed, broke my chains, freed my soul. For the first time, I had hope. Thank you, Jesus, for the blood applied. Thank you, Jesus it has washed me white. Thank you, Jesus, that you have saved my life, brought me from the darkness into the glorious light. You took my place. You laid inside my tomb of sin, but then you walked right out again. And now death has no sting and life has no end. For I have been transformed by the blood of the Lamb. Thank you, Jesus for the blood applied. Thank you, Jesus, that I’ve been washed white. That you, Jesus, that you saved my life and brought me from the darkness into glorious light. There’s nothing stronger than the wonder working power of the blood. The blood that calls us sons and daughters.
So amazing. We’re sons and daughters of the Most High. We’re transformed by our Father through the blood of the Lamb. There’s nothing stronger. So glory to His name. I just keep getting that “glory, glory, glory. It’s time to know who we are.” We have to know who we are if we’re going to step out and follow Him fully. Like the other day magnify. I still get that. Magnify, magnify, magnify Him. Do what He’s telling you to do. Say what He’s telling you to say. It’s time. There’s no other agenda. That’s what we have to do. But we have to first know who we are and what the blood did.

Somebody might ask the question, “Ken, why is it important or why do you want us to pray in other tongues? Pray in the Spirit?”
Because the truth of the matter is God desires the transcript of our prayers to be the script of our lives. In other words, as we pray things out, we are making a way for us to walk things out. One of the things that just kind of emerges in my heart is to simply say don’t let the enemy tell you what you can or cannot do, what you will or won’t have. Don’t let lying voices, harassing negative thought patterns from your past limit you or indicate to you what is possible or what’s not possible. Let your prayer language, let your prayers, let your faith increase, let the Word of God on your lips determine where you’re going to go today, what you’re going to do, what the outcome will be about a given situation.
Your mouth is a weapon. The word in your mouth is the sword of the Spirit. Whether you’re worshiping, whether you’re decreeing, whether you’re praying. So know today that the weapon is in your possession, and it’s in your mouth. When you put the Word of God in your mouth, when you open up and speak unto the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in your heavenly prayer language, you are declaring what God has said should be and really could be and really should be in your life. So I encourage you in that this morning.
