Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, May 2, 2018

The following is Seven Rules of Prayer by Reinhard Bonnke:

1. Ask God in faith. We cannot ask too much and blow a fuse by overloading the demand on divine help. Ask! That is Christ’s command, so you cannot be outside the will of God by asking, but you can tie His hands if you do not ask.

2. Do not come apologetically. Ask anyway, and let God decide how to act. We have made it such a mark of high piety to ask only for what God wants that it contradicts what Jesus said: “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do” (John 14:13). God allows mature believers free choice over large areas of their lives and blesses what they decide.

3. Forgive as God forgives you: “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses” (Mark 11:25).

4. Do not pray to be heard of men but with sincerity. Remember: God is full of grace.

5. Pray in the name of Jesus. Since we are in Christ, one with Him, when we pray in the name of Jesus, we are speaking with Christ’s merits imputed to us. Use common sense.

6. Cherish the Word of God. Notice the balance of this sentence: “If… My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:7). The psalmist wrote: “If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened”(Psalm 66:18 NIV). Treasure the Word of Christ; do not cherish iniquity.

7. Deal with obstacles to answered prayer. James warns why many times we may not be heard: “He who doubts…Let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord…You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures” (James 1:6-7, 4:3). Wisdom in prayer is essential.

Scripture focus…

(1) Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. (2) But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. (3) And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. Psalm 1:1–3 (AMPC)

Prayed…

Everything we do, we prosper in and through Him – through His Word we prosper
We’ve been prospering, we are prospering and we will continue to prosper
Standing on His Word, trusting in His Word, moving ahead
In some ways not looking back but looking ahead, looking up
Taking steps of faith out away from unbelief, fear, doubt, questions, any kind of strife, whatever in Jesus’ name

Something just kind of came up in my heart right here about a car
It’s not necessarily to get a car, it’s something that is happening in a car
We plead the blood of Jesus over whatever that is, covering that activity with the blood
We take authority against accidents of any kind in Jesus’ name
And plead the blood! Plead the blood! Plead the blood of Jesus over cars!
No, no in the name of Jesus we plead that blood for protection

And so marching ahead we will go (ha, ha, ha) taking our steps of faith as we grow
And as we grow we’ll continue to go and walk forth and step ahead and take our position and take our place
It’s a place of grace, it’s a place of power, it’s a place of momentum and heaven sent activity; supernatural help

We are going to sing about the blood for a bit. Think about our country, think about our leaders, think about our leaders spiritually, our pastors. Just let the Holy Spirit show you how this blood should be used this morning while we are singing.

We lift You and glorify Your name, Jesus
We pray over the PULSE event this month – May 18
Even more churches gathered together in the name of Jesus
Father, we pray that You get some glory that day, You get some honor and praise in that stadium
We pray over the numbers in Jesus’ name – increase, increase, increase
Momentum, more and more and more!
We pray over the seats and declare “Be filled! Be occupied in Jesus’ name!”
We cover every part, every detail – the alignment that must be
The power, the presence, the anointing in that place
Hallelujah!
So, as these churches gather together it will become one Church in that stadium on that day!
One Church under God, undivided, gathered together in the name that is above every other name
What’s that name? Jesus! In Jesus’ name
Around that building we pray and cover, cover with the blood
We take authority, hold the blood against any wrong kind of activity, any plan of the enemy to disrupt it
We hold the blood of the Lamb against it today in Jesus’ name and declare “Confusion!”
Declaring it to come to nothing in Jesus’ name
We pray over the National Day of Prayer – how You would have it to be, Lord
In all of the ministries, churches, places of prayer, the buildings in every city, every state
We thank You for it, Father, a nation of prayer
Holy Spirit, You are welcome in every one of those meetings
We just ask for Your presence, the power of Your Holy Spirit, that is would not just be some kind of religious so called event but it would be a supernatural day

Continued praying…

We welcome You, Holy Spirit, Your presence in the White House
Down the corridors, in the offices, in the Oval Office and all the way through

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Continued praying…

Prosperity is increasing! Hallelujah!
God’s goodness, God’s mercy, God’s grace, God’s peace
We declare it all over America in the name of Jesus – we thank You for it, Lord
Thank You for the turn arounds, we thank You for the changes
We thank You for those that had to leave, we thank You for those that are coming on in, that they would be the right ones
Every leader we hold before heaven today – plead the blood over them
Thank You for godly decisions, right decisions, wisdom from heaven
Not wisdom from earth but wisdom from heaven in Jesus’ name
We thank You for it and give You all of the glory and honor
For this is the day the Lord hath made and we will rejoice and be glad in it in Jesus’ name, Amen
