Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, July 20, 2022

Pastor Ken…

Well, good morning, everyone. We are live from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, a.k.a., Minneapolis, Minnesota.

It’s gonna be a good day. Amen? It is a good day! God’s got something really good in store and planned and ready for us today. We’re gonna do some praying. So get ready, get ready, get ready. We’re gonna pray this morning. The Holy Ghost has got some plans for you and for me and for us together this morning.

Prayed…

We pray that a way would be made for that which is on your heart, for that which you desire to see come to pass in the church in America, around the world.

We pray for a new way to be made … some new roads… some new pathways, some new manifestation… some new presentations … up, up, up now, up and out now, out there now… it’s out there… we get it out there …

We pray that they would see, Father. Those would see … those that are on your heart today. Those that we may know … those that we may not know, we pray that they would know you, Lord, know your ways, know your will, know your plan for redemption and salvation and forgiveness…

We pray for harvest today, Lord, we agree as one happy prayer family this morning…

We pray for a supernatural release of resources and laborers and helps and whatever is needed to engage in harvest on a whole nother level … to reap, to bring in the wheat that is whitened and ready to be harvested … operate, operate operations, collaborations… organizations… it’s all coming into place… we pray for a coming into position, into alignment, into synchronization now in the plan of God, in the house of God, in the hearts of believers now…

We pray for an engaging now in the church on a higher level… a stirring of hearts, a stirring of churches and ministries, a stirring in the place of prayer… release, release, release.

We pray for a supernatural release to and towards the church, a release of renewal, a release of a reinvigoration, a release of life, a release of fresh vision, a release of help and encouragement and hope to pastors, to missionaries, to leaders, to pray-ers today…

There it comes … there it is… let it come, Father … upon the church, upon the pray-ers upon the leaders… heaven’s reign, heaven’s glory… a heaven-send supply … here come the reinforcements… here they come… we send them in…

We pray mercy. We declare mercy over the church in this hour, over the church in America, over the church in your nation… mercy in patience.

Prayer about hurting parts of the body…

We pray over those broken and detached places this morning in the church … we pray over disjointed, dysfunctional, hurting, devastated parts of the body of Christ. Family members… those who are far away from God this morning, we pray over them. We pray mercy over them… we call out to them today by the spirit and we call them back to the house of God. We call them back to their place today… have mercy on them, Father.

Prayer against demonic activity…

We pray open their eyes in Jesus’ name, unstop their ears, Father … we assign clarity… power… help to their lives today in Jesus’ name to break that deception, to break off new age practices, witchcraft practices, whether they realize it or not … to break off every bondage of sin, every shackle of the enemy, every dysfunctional way, every familiar spirit, everything that has attached itself to them because of circumstances they’ve been through … devastation they’ve experienced challenge.

Prayer about Jubilee…

We pray today for Jubilee, a release of captives, a release from bondage, a release from sin, a release from people being carried away into enslavement in different ways, mentally, emotionally, physically… we declare supernatural Jubilee… we declare peace … release… wholeness… restoration and fulfillment of God’s intent over their lives.

We declare prison gates swing wide in the name of Jesus…

We declare light to those dark places and recesses of the enemy that people have been deceived into … release from darkness … release from depravity… release from bondages … release from weights and things that so easily beset them

Prayer about healing in the body of Christ…

We pray for a healing today in the body of Christ… a healing in heart… a healing in homes today… where you just bring people back, you bring whole segments of the body of Christ back, and you join them up with the rest of the family and you unite us…

Lord Jesus, we lift up your prayer there in the gospels that we would be united and joined as one in Jesus …

And so we pray that over the church at Living Word today … wherever you’re joined to today… we pray that over the body of Christ today… unity, healing, wholeness, restoration in the mighty name of Jesus.

We pray that you would achieve that swiftly… Let your word and let your will run swiftly toward achievement … toward fulfillment … toward revival … toward fullness and wholeness.

Peg shared…

I heard God say, “While the world is obsessed with Benifer, I’m moving while everyone else is not watching. I’m moving. I’m moving in my body. I’m moving in you. I’m removing the hurts and the pains and the trauma and the despair. I can do it. I can do it so let Me move in you. Let Me move through you to be a light to this world in these last days in these last hours. So rejoice because I am good and My plans are good for you. Rejoice and move forward in the plans that I have for you and the things I’ve called you to do. Do them. Don’t stray from them but do them.

Pastor Ken…

Now that kind of goes along with something that I was sensing in my heart this morning. And that is simply that whether we realize it or not, while the rest of the world is distracted by worldly, lesser things, maybe to some degree the church, Jesus is actively, passionately, and daily moment by moment searching for opportunities to engage with us. I don’t just mean in relationship in us talking to Him and Him talking back to us. But in the execution, the fulfillment of His will on planet earth while He is a commander and there is a command about Jesus. Of course, like I said yesterday, He is gentle and the most loving and kind and patient person you will ever meet or ever know. He’s also the commander of the Lord’s armies. He’s also commanding God’s kingdom, administrating it.

The Lord is standing by…

But with that said, I just sensed the Lord reminding us this morning that He’s standing by. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit is a standby. He is just standing by waiting to be utilized, waiting to be partnered with, waiting to be co-labored with… It also describes Jesus as a servant and He wants to minister and serve in our lives. Of course, He served first and foremost through His redemptive work. But He’s also right there in your life and in my life and in the church’s life to work with us once again.

We’re living in a small segment of time…

And I shared a while back, how I’m convinced that we are living in a segment, a small pie sized slice of time, where God’s mercy and grace are extended toward the church, toward us in America, for example. Not so that we can be all caught up in culture and what’s going on in media or on TikTok or whatever. So that He’s extended this mercy and giving us daily this opportunity to work with Him.

The prophet Daniel humbled himself before God in prayer…

And it reminded me of Daniel. And someone wrote that Darius the Mead was appointed king over Babylon in 539 BC. You’ll find that in Daniel 9:1. “In the first year of his reign, the prophet Daniel by now an old man who had spent most of his life as a Babylonian captive was reading the scroll of the prophet Jeremiah and realized Israel’s 70-year captivity was soon to end. So he humbled himself in sackcloth and ashes and began a season of prayer and fasting of unspecified duration.” Daniel’s prayer for Israel provides an insightful glimpse into the prophet’s commitment to God and is a model for earnest intercessory prayer.

In other words, Daniel was aware of the times and the seasons he was living in, because of what he saw in the prophetic. And as pray-ers, as believers, we must be aware of the time and the season we’re in. And not be caught up and captivated by what the enemy is doing. But understanding that the commander of the Lord’s armies stands with us. His helper, a.k.a. the Holy Spirit, is standing by waiting to perform what we will say, what we will pray, what we will intercede in regard to. And as swiftly and as quickly and as commandingly as He can, He will carry it out in conjunction with the prayers of the church.

It’s time to go…

So understand that. We may not have a lot of time left. We don’t know how much time is left in God’s timetable, but we do know God is merciful and God is working. God Himself by His hand overturned Roe V. Wade. Just as a sign saying, “Hey, church, I am still all powerful. I’m still on My throne. I can still do what I want to do.” And He’s saying now it’s time to go. It’s not time to rest on our laurels. It’s not time to get comfortable or, God forbid, draw back in our spirituality, in our lives, in our assignment, in our place, and our prayers. But it’s time to run with Him and go with Him. Amen?

You are in the army of God…

And know that regardless of your title, regardless of how long you’ve been a follower of Jesus, regardless of how you feel about yourself today, if you professed Him as Lord, you find yourself presently in the rank of God, in the army of God, in a position and in a place where you can effect change, not just in your life, but in the lives of others and in the lives that you may not meet or know about until the next lifetime.

We are the giant called the church…

You are someone significant in the kingdom of God. And the Spirit of God is standing by 24/7, just waiting for whoever to just go with Him. Sense what’s percolating in His spirit and say it and pray it and declare it and contend for it. Just like Daniel! We’re called to be postmodern Daniels, cognizant, sensitive of the fact that we are here on mission, not to just get by and collect a gold watch upon retirement. But we’re here on mission. God’s gonna take care of you. He’s gonna bless you. In fact, His goodness and His mercy, it’s promised in His Word is gonna track you down and overtake you every day if you will believe for that. So He’s gonna take care of you.

It’s time to step up to another level of consecration…

Now it’s time for us to step up to another level of consecration and commitment and take care of what’s on His heart. I think I’ve read this before, but many years ago, and it seems like I’ve read a number of things by brother Kenneth Hagin this week. So I guess that’s the theme. But I’ll share something really quick that he talked about regarding intercession. So do you get it? When we say a thing, God wants to establish that. When you pray a thing, He wants to answer it. When you knock on a particular door, let’s say it’s for the salvation for a loved one, He wants to open it for that person so that they would know Him. His will is that none should perish so that all would come unto salvation.

The righteousness of God…

When you see something dysfunctional, the Lord of heaven wants to disrupt the enemy’s dysfunction and bring wholeness and health and rightness. It’s called the righteousness of God. He is the God of righteousness and holiness, and He wants His kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. But it comes through the church. He’s the head. He’s got the master plan, but it’s as we engage with Him in relationship that we start to pick up and sense what the next step is or what the thing we need to say today is, or what we need to pray over or what we need to contend about. And as we do so, the master plan comes through you, comes through me. And goes out and runs swiftly and angels attend that word. The Holy Spirit attends that word. And they work supernaturally along with others of human agency to formulate and to evidence and bring into fullness and manifestation what you spoke, what you prayed, what God wants to do in the church in the way of revival in the way of redeeming the loss, planting churches, manifesting resources, leveraging, and redeeming technology for a quick work that must be done in this generation. That is just what the Spirit of God is saying, I believe.

Brother Hagin said…

Brother Hagin wrote a number of years ago, “God said something to Israel through the prophet Isaiah, which is very applicable to us in our present-day situation and generation. Isaiah 64:7 says, “And there is no one who calls on Your name,

Who stirs himself up to take hold of You; for You have hidden Your face from us, and have consumed us because of our iniquities.”

Notice what it’s said in the verse. There’s none that calleth upon His name, that stirs up Himself to take hold of thee. This implies that if someone had stirred him or herself up to pray and intercede and to call on God, just simply call on God. That’s a form of prayer. I’ve done that many times. “Lord, I don’t have time for that situation with my friend over there or this thing that’s going on over here, cuz I’m doing what you’ve asked me to do. Will you take care of that for me? I’m just calling on you.” And lo and behold in days, weeks, months there it was. He took care of it. I didn’t have to worry about it. I didn’t have to go through four sleepless nights, wondering what was gonna happen about it. He took care of it for me. He’s gonna take care of things for you. He’s working in conjunction with us and our prayers and our simple calling out to Him.

God needs someone to stir himself up to pray and intercede…

So he says if someone had stirred him or herself up to pray and intercede and call upon God, judgment on the nation of Israel could have been stayed, or you could say stopped. Let’s look at a similar statement. Of course, that’s what happened with Daniel as I referenced earlier. He became aware of the time and the season and what God wanted to do. And he simply engaged. He’s wanting us to engage and stay engaged so we can go somewhere. And so that eventually we can go up into the air.

So let’s look at a similar statement made by Ezekiel in 22:30, “And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap.” Intercession simply means to get in the way. In other words, you see something that isn’t right, and you just get into the messy middle of that thing. Spiritually speaking. You see injustice, you see unrighteousness, you see evil prevailing, you see devastation in a family maybe on a news report or somebody you hear about or know and you just say, “Lord, I’m just gonna get in in there. And I just lift up that family, or I pray for that situation. That isn’t right, Lord. It’s time for that family to turn around to God. It’s time for that situation to do a complete turnaround.” And you just begin to pray like Daniel. “Lord, it seems to say in your Word and your prophetic that it’s time for your people Israel to come out of bondage. The enemy no longer can have his way. It’s done. It’s time to be done.
