Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Ken…
Well, good morning. Welcome, once again, to Morning Prayer here at Living Word. My name is Ken and I am honored to lead and be a steward… What’s the word? A flight attendant for prayer! I guess more than anything, just serve and help guide. It’s going to be a good day today.
Prayed…
We thank you, Lord, for your exceeding great and precious promises that even now, we declare are being fulfilled in our lives, in our hearts, in our ministries, in our homes, in our church, in our nation today. We praise you, Lord, for your great intent and plan, that even now in this very moment of time in history is prospering, even accelerating in our lives, into our futures, into our nation, into the world at large. We declare, Lord…
You will get glory.
You will receive honor.
You will reap unto yourself a great harvest.
The Father is putting on a show…
Thank you, Father, for a great harvest of souls, a great harvest of end time works and displays as the Word describes it in the letters to the Ephesian Church.
Lord, we thank you that you are putting on a show. It starts now! And it shall go throughout all eternity. A show demonstrating your great love for us, your show demonstrating your great work through Jesus Christ.
Your show, Lord, of mercy and forgiveness and power and all of heaven on display.
We thank you for that, Father, that we get to be a part of it, to be a part of putting you on display in this generation. in Jesus’ name.
Psalms 148:1 states…
1 Praise[a] the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights!
2 Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts!
3 Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you stars of light!
4 Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters above the heavens!
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created.
6 He also established them forever and ever; He made a decree which shall not pass away.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all the depths;
8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
9 Mountains and all hills; fruitful trees and all cedars;
10 Beasts and all cattle; creeping things and flying fowl;
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples; princes and all judges of the earth;
12 Both young men and maidens; old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 And He has exalted the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints—of the children of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord!
Praise paralyzes the enemy…
We’re declaring this as a prayer this morning. Worship and praise, thanksgiving, the practice of gratitude is a high form of prayer, a form of prayer that the enemy has no antidote for. In fact, it paralyzes him. He doesn’t know what to do when His people praise Him. Even just the proclamation of the Psalms, it paralyzes him. It sends him packing…
Out of your life
Out of situations
Out of atmospheres
Out of nations
Shouts of praise brought down Jericho’s walls…
So don’t discount the power of the prayer of praise and worship, of gratitude and thanksgiving. The enemy does not know what to do with it. He has no choice but to go. Remember the narrative of scripture that when Joshua and all the people of Israel worshiped and praised around the walls of Jericho and then shouted on the seventh day? Those walls came down! I believe there was a frequency that was emitted from their shout of praise and their worship. There was a frequency that was emitted that caused those walls to crumble.
Shouts of praise will bring down the walls the enemy erected in Minnesota…
And so too walls are crumbling that the enemy is erected in your life. Walls are crumbling where he’s erected them here in Minnesota. They’re crumbling and being exposed and obliterated. His anointing is at work on this morning. In January of 2026, His anointing is at work to remove burdens and destroy yolks in your heart, in your household, in those situations He’s assigned you to pray about, in the State of Minnesota. Across this nation today, God is going to get His way. Do you agree with me?
Psalm 1:49 says…
1 Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
We have the honor of refusing the enemy from having his way…
We have the honor of binding and losing, of refusing to permit the enemy from having his way. We have the honor to insert ourselves where there’s darkness and chaos and tumults and strongholds erected from the kingdom of darkness and bring light to expose, to send forth the judgment of God.
The Bible says in Psalm 1:10 that those who volunteer—that’s us—will be used mightily to execute His plan. When you show up for prayer online or in this chapel or in your prayer closet, you are volunteering. “Lord, here I am. Send me in the midst of what the enemy is doing with supernatural weapons to send the enemy reeling backwards.” Make no mistake about it. Prayer pushes back the forces of darkness.
We’ve got to stay persistent in prayer…
Pastor Lynne said earlier this week that we’ve got to stay persistent with prayer. Yes, there are times when we pray through something and complete a particular assignment in prayer. But in general, we need to be a people who are persistent and tenacious and stay in there. Stay engaged. Oh, seasons of prayer will look different for us. Sometimes, prayer is like a river. Sometimes it’s class five rapids that you’re just trying to stay afloat and going with the flow as you pray intensely. And other times, it’s a meandering, calm, still backwaters.
God intends for us to stay in the river of prayer…
But make no mistake about it, God intends for us to stay in the river of prayer. Throughout our days and our weeks and our lives, because it’s prayer that provides a great supply of faith for God to do what He wants to do. It is prayer that assigns and releases His power. It is prayer that as we see in Jude 20, prayer in other tongues in particular that edifies and builds us up and keeps us strong and where we need to be, where we’ve got a sufficient amount of God’s presence.
Jesus gave us the template for doing life and ministry…
It is true that we must have an experience and a supply of God’s presence and anointing and a holy fire stirred up in us equal to and even greater than the challenges that we face each day. I suppose that’s why Jesus, as He gave us the template in the gospels for doing life and ministry and the plan of God, that template always led with prayer.
He often got up early in the morning before it was even light. And went off to a place where He simply sought His Father. Because it was in that place He was strengthened. It was in that place He received heaven’s flow that He might be strengthened… not just spiritually, not just emotionally, but even physically, I believe. That He would have all of the resource and supply of heaven in Him and on Him to go do what He needed to do later that day. That’s why He was able to say, “I don’t say anything unless I hear My Father first say it. I don’t do anything unless I see My Father do it first.” Where did He see that? Where did He hear His Father? In that place of prayer. It was a priority for Him.
In Psalm 150 reads…
1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty firmament!
2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals; praise Him with clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord, praise the Lord!
Prayed…
So, Father, we praise and magnify you and lift up your name for the great exploits that you have done and you are in the process of doing in our lives, in our church, in our city, in our nations. We give you praise, Father, for the exploits that are unfolding even before us in this very time and season.
We praise you, Father, that your plan is unfolding in these Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul and our greater State of Minnesota.
It is time to refuse to put up with evil. It’s time to put evil on the run.
So, Father, we take authority over every malicious, malevolent spirit of darkness that would try to disrupt or bring chaos or destruction or death further in our state or in our city.
We speak to you, Devil, on the authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whose we are and in whom we serve and we command you, “Stand down! We command you, Go, in Jesus’ name. You will not pass any further. You will leave the city. You will go, spirit of darkness, spirit of chaos, spirit of death, spirit of lawlessness, spirit of the Devil. We command you on the authority of the mighty and majestic name of Jesus, Go from our city!”
We thwart and rebuke and bind every demonic strategy and thing the enemy has conjured up to create problems, to be an antichrist spirit in our city.
We say “NO” in Jesus’ name. Be thou diffused. Be thou exposed.
For we release angels, we release the lightnings of God. We release the light of God into our city, into those places that are in desperate need of deliverance and freedom and burdens being removed and yolks being destroyed.
We pray, Lord, lay a blanket over our city, a blanket of grace, a blanket of healing power, a blanket that alters and transforms the very atmosphere from the spiritual context…
That there would be an open heaven over this place.
That there would be an open heaven over our state.
That there would be an open heaven over America.
That you might invade our realm.
That you might invade our city, Lord.
We call for the invasion of heaven’s forces and heaven’s life and heaven’s awakening now to our city, to our state, to our nation, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lord, we will not back off. We will not relent. We will not slow ourselves. No!
We lean in all the more and say, “Lord, we will have revival. We will see not just touches of revival or remnants of revival here or there, but Father, we declare wholesale, sweeping wide and far revival, and awakening across our nation, across America, throughout this State of Minnesota, right here, even in the Twin Cities now. Awaken! Awakened plan of God, awakened revival.
Open up. Come forth great plan of God. Come forth latter and former rains.
Flow now, fall now, saturate now.
Water now the plan of God, the people of God, the house of God.
Let their come forth change and a great harvest of souls in Jesus’ mighty name.
We pray over the spiritual conditions, natural conditions, right here in Minnesota, in Washington DC, across our nation.
We pray for light and truth to spread. We pray for transformation in the conditions, Father.
Lord, may you set some things up now, even in Washington DC, in our different halls of government, in each branch of government.
We pray angels be released, be activated in those halls of government to facilitate, to work on behalf of Yahweh, to work on behalf of the courts of heaven and the administration of our God in the government of the United States of America.
We plead the blood over President Trump, over Vice President Vance.
We pray and we command a dispatch of whatever’s needed in the spirit. Maybe angels.
But also in the natural, a dispatch of special forces to uncover, to expose, to bring forth light of the enemy’s plan against our government or against our President.
We say, “No, no, you don’t. Take your hands off our government, Devil. Take your hands off our President, his administration and all those who serve and work in his leadership ranks.
We plead the blood and we thwart in Jesus’ name any cheap shot of the enemy.
We thwart in the name of Jesus any attempt to attack, to cause problems, to steal, to kill, we say “No! in Jesus’ name.
For today, we stand in agreement as a collective called by the name of Jesus in rank and file in the kingdom of heaven.
We send light, we send a dispatchment, we send supernatural deliverance and salvation and protection now for our leaders, for President Trump, for Vice President Vance.
We pray over this midterm election in the year of 2026, as we go toward that later this fall.
And we speak grace over the political process in this nation.
Grace over the process here, right in Minnesota as we look to elect a new governor and perhaps some other office officials as well.
Lord, grant us the leaders, the men and the women who are called by your name, men and women who have a heart after your heart, whether they realize it or not, grant us the right leaders right here in this great North Star State.
We pray, Lord, that you would shift some things in a profound yet supernatural way to move out what the enemy intended and to move into place now, piece by piece, part by part, ingredient by ingredient, leader by leader.
Move them into position and into their places.
Even now, Lord, we pray for a supernatural activation of leaders and people, including believers who need to be a part of this process, to pray, to support, to stand with, to vote, to be a part in a variety of ways.
So we pray for a great mobilization of your people, Lord, in this process of the midterm elections here in Minnesota, across America, in Jesus’ name.
