Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, September 13, 2022

Pastor Ken…

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to morning prayer.

The habit of remembrance…

Would you like to be encouraged by something… specifically the Word of God? I’m going to read from the Passion translation. I just want to read something and then we’re going to pray. As a pray-er and as a believer, one of the most important habits that God wants to lead us into and help us to become real skillful and disciplined in is the habit of remembrance, the habit of reminding and refreshing and replenishing our hearts and our consciousness regarding the new us… the new you. I think perhaps one of the most important things we can do today and every day is to daily introduce ourselves to the new self that we are in Him.

We are enough…

That is the hard work of following Him, is reminding ourselves and renewing our consciousness to the fact that we are enough. In fact, I felt like that is what God is just impressing upon us this morning, is that you are enough. You and I are enough for whatever demands come our way today, whatever challenges we face, whatever negative report is uttered, whatever happens with our kids or our situations or our finances. We can resist the temptation to fear. I mean, over and over in the life of Jesus and His ministry, He seemed to continually remind the disciples: “Don’t let your heart be troubled.”

When a ginormous bill comes in the mail that you don’t know how you’re going to pay… when a negative doctor’s report comes your way… when a situation of unprecedented proportions shows up in your life… just know this: you can resist.

You can resist fear…

You have the choice to resist that devil of fear that operates in this world. The enemy is a fear monger. And that’s all he has is to try to get us as followers of Jesus, as pray-ers, to give place to fear. But we have the ability, we have the right, we have divine authority to say “No” to fear. And to say, instead, “I am more than enough because I am in Him and I live and move and have my being in Him.”

And so I just encourage you today, however, your feeling, even if your feelings are betraying you or telling you something different, or your thoughts are bombarding you with negative ideas or visions or thoughts or worst-case scenarios, you can still choose in your heart to say, “No! I’m going to go with God today. I am more than enough.” In fact, the reason we are captivated and are students of the Word and people who meditate on the Word is because if you will let your spirit get strong enough, it’ll never lead you astray. It’ll always tell you and help you see the truth concerning God’s Word and His plan for your future.

Romans 8:14 … moved by the impulses of God…

And so you are more than enough today. And in Romans 8:14… I’m going to start reading in the Passion translation. It says, “The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.” I like that. That’s good. Moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit… not the fear… not the past… not the negative thoughts that are bombarding us. But we can be moved upon by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the spirit of religious duty, leading you back into fear of never being good enough. It doesn’t matter how you feel, what you’re going through, how messy things are, the reality is, and that’s what we’re grounding ourselves in every day, who we are in Him. And we are more than enough.

You are good enough because He was good enough…

You are forgiven because He obtained that forgiveness on our behalf. He went all the way. He went the distance, Jesus that is. Up Golgotha’s heel and hung between heaven and earth and went into the belly of the earth, according to scriptures. And at the right time, He made the choice to take back His life and to take back the keys of death, hell, and the grave, to shake off every shackle and sin and bondage and issue that would try to hold us down. Jesus took it back. And gave it to us … that freedom, that forgiveness, that abundance, that “enoughness” … (excuse my English). So you are more than enough today.

We can do this…

When we fall into His loving arms and we lean into Him, there is a replenishment. Prayer is the portal that allows us to swim in heaven’s resources and supply and authority and wisdom and ability so that we are even able to respond to the impulses of the Holy Spirit, which will always lead us to the goodness of God and His blessing and freedom and all that He has for us.

But it goes on to say…

“We do not receive a spirit of religious duty leading us back into fear of never being good enough. But you have received the spirit…” That’s you, me. Just say this, “That’s me. I have received the spirit of full acceptance.” Isn’t that good? Full acceptance. “…unfolding you into the family of God and you will never feel orphaned for as he rises up within us, our spirit join him in saying the words of tender affection, beloved Father. For the Holy Spirit makes God’s Fatherhood real to us as He whispers into our inner most being.” Do you hear Him this morning? He’s whispering to you and it’s not a worst-case scenario. It’s not that you’re going to fail at this. It’s not that you’re not going to receive your healing or you’re not going to gain that promotion or you’re not going to have enough or you’re not enough. No! On the country. He is whispering His promises. Amen? He is whispering victory to you. He is whispering, “I’m the one that is able to always cause you to triumph.” He’s the one whispering you are enough. So we say “the words of tender affection, beloved Father for the Holy Spirit makes God’s Fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, you are God’s beloved child. And since we are his true children, we qualify to share in his treasures.”

Whoa!

“For indeed, we are heirs of God Himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that He is. And all that He has.” Come on now! Take that into your heart. “We will experience being co-glorified with him, provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.”

In other words, He was nailed to the cross. We accept His suffering and what He did for us as our own. We see ourselves dead with Christ and we also can see ourselves as raised with him to glory, raised with Him spiritually in a joint place of seating, in a sky box with Jesus at a Vikings game! Yeah! You’re seated with Him in a plush, fully arrayed, fully supplied, food all that you need, sky box at US bank stadium. Jointly with Jesus. He’s there with you in the balconies of the heavenly realm of the spiritual dimension, where you can actually look and see what He’s going to do to your enemies. Where you can look and see your next steps.

He orders the steps of a righteous man…

In fact, the Bible says that He orders the steps of a righteous man and a righteous woman. In the original Greek, it literally means He’s numbered our steps. I like to say, if we can paint by numbers or draw by numbers, then we can do this thing called life. We can do this thing called the plan of God by numbers! By being co-joined with Jesus in our heavenly sky box. You know, looking even into the future because prayer allows us to see the next steps, to see the next number, to see the next place, to see what God’s going to do to our enemies. Even while we’re in the midst of a difficult challenge in the natural. God wants us to see and perceive from a heavenly perspective.

It starts by refusing to let our hearts get troubled…

But that all starts by refusing to let our hearts get troubled. And choosing, instead… because you can do that in your heart. You can write down here on the inside, you can actually yield to peace. Take a deep breath and say, “Lord, I just yield to heaven’s flow of peace. I resist fear. I resist anxiety. I resist the temptation to worry about finances or worry about this situation or wonder about my future. No, Lord. I see myself seated with you in heavenly places with you in my heavenly sky box of victory. Because I accept your sufferings on my behalf so that I can be co-glorified and co-seated and a co-receiver of an identical inheritance and position with Jesus.” That’s the place of a pray-er.

Billy Brim has a special chair…

Billye Brim talks about how she’s got a chair in her home where she sits and exercises dominion. Maybe sometimes with great annunciation and volume in her voice. Maybe other times, just quietly. But point being, you have a position as a child of God. You have a place that is by and with Jesus. We are the sons and daughters of God revealed on this earth in this hour. So that’s where we operate from when it comes to prayer. So let’s be cognizant of that as we go into prayer this morning.

Prayed…

Father, we just thank you for your faithfulness… for your kindness… for the revealing of your Word in regard to who we are and what we possess this morning.

We just thank you, Lord, that your goodness and your mercy and your favor and your kindness hovers over each of us … hovers over your church today… follows us around wherever we go.

Lord, we just remind ourselves and we declare that we are in you and you are in us. Greater is He that is in us today than any situation we may encounter in this world.

We break up the enemy’s devices today… in Jesus’ name… we break up those ploys and those lies in Jesus’ name … in our households and families … in the church today … here at Living Word or wherever you attend … from our spiritual sky box, we declare in Jesus’ name, “be broken up every strategy.. every deceptive lie in Jesus’ name…

That must go… that must go… It must be moved out of the way … today in Jesus’ name… obstacles, hindrances, strongholds, trauma… We come against that and we say, “you must go and get out of the way in Jesus’ name.”

Move over, move over there in Jesus’ name… generational curses, “move over and get out of the way in Jesus’ name”

Spirits of infirmity, move over. Get out of the way in Jesus’ name

We are exposing the secrets of the enemy… the secrets and those things that the enemy intends… we command light upon those things and we command them to come to the surface and be exposed and be judged in Jesus’ name… open and exposed and laid bare.

In the house of believers, in our governmental offices, in the marketplace and business place… that there would be a shaking, that there would be a cleansing, that there would be a work of judgment in Jesus’ name … to prepare and to ready ourselves for what you are sending and what is already on the way

And now we lift up the numbers… we lift up that situation with Congress today… in the Senate today … in Washington, DC… we lift that to you, Heavenly Father … we send and we assign light, supernatural operations of the Holy Spirit into our government, into Washington DC, into state capitals today … into St. Paul, Minnesota… Madison, Wisconsin… Des Moines, Iowa… We pray for a release of divine and heavenly operations into state capitals and into our national capital into the capitals of your nations today.

We pray for heaven sent teams … heaven sent operations… into those places in Jesus’ name.
