Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Dustin…

Well, good morning, everyone. My name is Dustin. I’m the NextGen Pastor here on behalf of our senior pastors, Mac and Lynne Hammond. I want to welcome you to Morning Prayer. I encourage you all to really lean in, bring some faith, bring some hunger, bring some expectation. I say this every time: prayer is not a spectator sport, right? It’s not like a sermon where you’re watching. The point of corporate prayer like this is for everyone to bring the supply that you have. And we all pursue God together. We all worship Him together. We all pray together. And we believe that if everyone here does what they’re supposed to do, we’ll accomplish everything that we need to accomplish.

Prayed…

Father, you know the plans that you have for us.
We know that they’re plans for good.
We know that you have good things that you’ve prepared in advance for us to walk in and experience individually and corporately.
And so, Father, we lean in and incline our ear to hear what your Spirit would say to us today.
We thank you, Father for words of direction.
Future steps being illuminated. Making the path clear, making the path straight.
Removing mountains. Raising valleys. Opening up doors of opportunity. Doors of favor.
We pray for supernatural acceleration.
Things that would’ve taken years or decades happening in a moment.
We thank you for your leading.
We thank you for the grace to allow you to lead us.
We thank you that we are your sheep and we know your voice and the voice of a stranger, we don’t listen to.
We walk accurately by your Spirit, in Jesus’ name.
We thank you, Father, for the opportunities that you’re opening up to Living Word.
The opportunities that you’re opening up to every single person in this room.
So be sensitive to His voice.
Don’t allow yourself to go on autopilot. Don’t coast through conversations.
You don’t know the people that God is going to bring into your life.
You don’t know who knows who and what is going to happen.
I’m not talking about manipulating or putting on. I’m just saying don’t just mail it in.
Don’t waste a single day. Don’t waste a single moment. Don’t waste a single conversation.
Allow the Spirit of God to work through you.
Lean in. Listen. Allow Him to speak through you. Allow Him to move through you.

“As we’re praying, this keeps coming to my heart.”

Brother Keith Moore talks about being led by the Spirit. He said, “Being led by the Spirit is different than being led by opportunity. Being led by opportunities, being led by external things.” And he’s like, “The enemy has ability to influence external things. You don’t want to be led by opportunity. You want to be led by the Spirit of God.”

And sometimes the Spirit of God will lead you into things where it looks like there is no opportunity. But he said, “If you’re a person of faith, you don’t pray that God opens up a door and then look for open doors. He said, “You pray, you get direction from God and you go to the door that He tells you to go to, and it doesn’t matter if the door is barred and chained and locked. You just stand there rejoicing in faith knowing that God is going to open up that door for you when that door needs to be opened for you.”

And so, Father, we thank you for your leading this morning. We thank you for speaking clearly to hearts.
We thank you for direction. We thank you for insight. We thank you for favor.

Group worshipped…

Pastor Dustin…

The Bible says when you pray in the Spirit, you’re praying out God’s perfect will. You’re praying out mysteries. You build yourself up. You edify yourself. Think of yourself like a phone; praying in tongues is charging yourself.

We thank you, Father, for the plans. We set our expectation. We believe that you are good.
We believe that we rule and reign in this life. We believe that we are seated with you in heavenly places far over and above every evil thing.
We thank you for the victory that we have in you, Father.
We are not victims. We are overcomers.
Greater are you that is on the inside of us than he that is in the world.
Father, we thank you that if you’re for us, there’s nothing and no one that can stand against us.

Seeing images while praying…
If as you’re praying you get imaginations, you get pictures, and if those things aren’t contrary to the Word of God, pay attention to them. Maybe you need to pray them out. Maybe as you’re praying, you get just a word in English. Pray that out right where you’re at. Just pray that out.

The word “favor” keeps coming up…

Favor, favor, favor. I don’t know why the word favor keeps coming. Favor. Favor.
Increase. Increase in favor, increase in influence, increase in power.
Multiplication, multiplication. We set our expectation for multiplication.
We set our expectation for ideas.
We thank you for wisdom.
We thank you for strategies.
We thank you for sending people and resources.
Thank you, Father, that you’re more than enough.
Come on, renew your mind to that. Get that in your heart. He’s more than enough.
Don’t limit what He can do in and through you.
Don’t limit what He can do in this ministry. Don’t limit Him.
Oh, He wants to do exceedingly and super abundantly, far over and above all that you could dare ask or think, infinitely beyond your highest prayers, thoughts, hopes, dreams, desires.
Let’s believe God for big things.
Let’s take big steps of faith.
Let’s be bold.
Let’s not be apathetic.
Let’s not lower our expectation to the lowest common denominator.
Let’s not lower our expectation to what we can probably do in our own strength.
No! We serve a big God. That’s an understatement. He put the stars in the sky. He created the earth. He created time. The heavens are His throne. The earth is His footstool. He’s the alpha, the omega, the beginning and the end.
This is who you serve. This is who your Father is.
He has all victory. He has the keys to hell, death, and the grave.
Jesus said, “It’s better for you that I go, because when I go, I’m giving you the comforter, the counselor, the intercessor, the advocate, the strengthener, the standby.”
I’m giving you the Holy Spirit. He’s going to come alongside of you and He’s going to aid you. And He’s going to support you. And He’s going to be your strength.
And there is a well on the inside of you.
There is a reservoir on the inside of you.
So don’t live below your God-given potential. Don’t live below the best that He has for you.
Oh, don’t give up and quit. Don’t sit down and become a scoffer. And a mocker.
No! Press in. Press in. Press in.
Lay hold of the things that He has for you. Lay hold of them.
Contend. Contend in prayer. Contend in your faith. Contend.
Don’t be passive. Don’t be apathetic.
Don’t just say, “If it’s God’s will, then…” No! Contend. Fight the good fight of faith.

Prayer for people to get fight back…

Father, I pray that the people of Living Word, if we’ve lost our fight, would get our fight back.
I pray that we would have a fighting spirit.
I pray that we would be a people of faith.
We would be filled with joy, filled with hope, filled with confidence, filled with joy.
Because we know that the best is in front of us. We know that the latter will be greater than the former.
We know that we are crossing the Jordan and stepping into that place that you’ve prepared for us.
That place where you said, everywhere our feet touch, we’ll possess the land.
We’re stepping into that which has been prepared for us.
Come on! Do you believe it?
Oh, Father, we thank you for the land that’s flowing with milk and honey.
We thank you for the place that’s rich with resources, the place that is abundantly supplied.
We thank you that we aren’t limited to our own ability, to our own understanding.
We thank you, Father, that you supply all of our needs according to your riches and glory in Christ Jesus.
We thank you for that supply that is available.
So put a demand on it. Stretch forth your hand, preach the Gospel, trust that He will give you the words to say.
Make big plans. Ask Him for a strategy.
We thank you, Father, for favor, for increase, for these things.
We thank you that there is inheritance in you.
We thank you, Father, for souls.
We thank you for people coming into the kingdom.
People who were in darkness being brought out of darkness and into light.
We thank you for many, many people getting saved.
Father, we thank you for many people hearing the truth and being made free.
And growing roots in their heart and becoming free.
We thank you for freedom in the lives of the congregation at Living Word.
Free from bondage, free from fear, free from insecurity, fear from a scarcity mindset, from the fear of other people’s opinions and what other people are going to think of them.
Lord, we thank you for freedom from addiction, from depression, oppression, from sickness, from disease.
We thank you that your Word says, “Whom the Son has set free is free indeed.”
That’s our identity. And so we’re not going to take on anything else. We’re not going to believe any lie.
Father, we thank you for freedom in services.
Thank you, Father, for the gifts of the Spirit in operation in services. That we would be sensitive to your voice, to your leadings, to your promptings.

There’s no point in worrying…

Things can change so quickly. And so don’t look to your circumstances. There’s no point in worrying. And there’s no point in being depressed about how it looks. Just because it’s taken this long so far doesn’t mean it can’t all change in a moment, in an instant. So be nimble. Be flexible. And keep your faith up. Keep your hopes up. Keep your expectations up.

Breathing fresh breath on dreams…

Oh, Father, we thank you for breathing fresh life on dreams this morning.
Any dry bones, Father, things that are not only dry, but just dead.
Lord, we thank you that you’re able to bring those things back to life.
Nothing is too far gone for you.
Even those things that looked dead, even those things that looked dormant, even those things that looked like they were impossible.
Father, we thank you for choosing… (Don’t be offended by this) old people all throughout scripture.
We thank you, Father, for choosing Abraham.
We thank you for choosing Moses.
We thank you, Lord, that you look at the heart, that you look at people’s hearts.
And man judges on the outward, but you look at the inward.
And it doesn’t matter what everybody else thinks. It doesn’t matter what everybody else says.
You’re God. And you’ll do what you need to do.
And you’ll work with who you work with.
So don’t discount yourself. Don’t count yourself out.
Don’t say, “Well, if it was supposed to happen, if it was going to happen, it would’ve happened by this point.
Look at Abraham! Look at Noah! Look at how they stayed in the fight. Imperfectly.
But look at how they kept pressing. Look at how they kept believing.
And in due season at the appointed time, they reaped the harvest.
Why? Because they didn’t give up and quit.
Because they didn’t throw in the towel.
Because they didn’t just sit down and become a mocker.
They continued to press toward the mark.
Maximum sustainable effort. Press, press, press.
Maybe you’ve walked around the mountain seven times. Do another lap!
Maybe you’ve walked around the city three times, four times. Keep going. Don’t quit. Don’t give up.
We thank you for wisdom, for insight, for ideas.
We thank you for ideas from heaven. Not just good ideas. We thank you for God ideas.
Ideas where there’s a grace. There’s just a grace on it. There’s an ease to it. There’s a flow to it.
There are results connected to it.
Jesus said, “My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
If it’s frustrating, if it’s exhausting, if it’s uncomfortable, and there feels like there’s no grace for it. You’ve got to look at it.
It’s not that it will be easy, but there will be a grace on you for it.
Oh, Father, I pray for anybody in here who has carried anxiety, worry, cares. We pray for freedom.
You can set those things down. You can trust Him with those things.
You’re not designed to carry the weight of it.
He’s faithful to perfect that which concerns you.
He’s faithful to finish the work that He started in your life.
And so you don’t have to carry it. He’ll give you rest.
He said, “Come to Me all of you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Come eat and drink of Him. Come and receive from Him.”
There’s always an open door.
There’s always an invitation.
He never turns you away.
He never keeps His distance from you.
You can commune with Him anytime. You can commune with Him anywhere.
You can come into His presence at home, in the car, here during prayer.
And you can find rest. You can find peace. You can allow the Lord to minister to you.
