Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Good morning, everyone. Happy Tuesday. Welcome to Morning Prayer. My name is Ken. I’m one of the pastors here at Living Word.

The importance of forgiveness…

I thought I’d start off by sharing something. I was reminded of the importance of forgiveness this morning. I remember one time years ago walking into my grandfather’s home and I asked him “what was up” and he said, “Well, everybody’s still talking about Bible eschatology and the end time timetable. I can’t seem to get off the chapter on love and the Bible.” And he was focused on that. That was an emphasis of his life. The love chapter in scripture.

Seeing people in hell …

And then I was reminded, too, of a story I’d heard of a woman who had a life-after-death experience a number of years ago. One of the things that really marked her was the fact that she… This is not doctrine, of course. It’s one woman’s experience. But she said that she witnessed people that she thought would be in heaven… in hell! Because she had an experience in hell for a brief period of time. And when she saw those people, she instinctively understood that they were there because of their unforgiveness. Because they didn’t focus on the love chapter, like my grandfather.

As pray-ers, forgiveness is our first step before we pray…

And, I just think that whether you need forgiveness or you need to give forgiveness, that as pray-ers, that should be really our first step before we pray. And I don’t know if anybody needs to hear this. Maybe not. But it’s a good reminder nonetheless, right? Our salvation is based on the fact that we forgive others. In Ephesians 4:32, it says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ, God forgave you.”

Matthew 5:14 says…

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

When was the last time you heard that preached? Come on, now! This is bottom-line Christianity, once again. And the basis for our faith.

God’s love is unconditional and we must be likewise…

And I say this not because anybody’s like maybe raging in the sense of “Oh, I’m not going to forgive, so and so” or certain people, or what happened, what they did to me. But understand, the enemy is subtle. He’s manipulative. And sometimes unforgiveness, at least initially, is us putting up our walls toward other people because you don’t want to be hurt. Or maybe because of what happened in your past. And that’s understandable. But God’s love is unconditional. And while He forgave us unconditionally, we must choose, whether we feel like it or not, to forgive others and to not let those walls remain and to not be closed off. I’m not saying you have to trust everyone. Trust is something that must be earned. But we should give forgiveness freely and we should love unconditionally. And that’s an important key and really foundation to effective prayer.

So be mindful of that today. Maybe be a little introspective… maybe this is touching an issue in your life presently. Because I think we all have opportunities to put up our walls, to have offenses, to hold grievances to maybe subtly in different ways be unforgiving. It’s very subtle.

Colossians 3:13 says…

“Bear with each other and forgive one another. If any of you has grievances against someone, forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

So I encourage you in that today. Just be open to the Holy Spirit’s dealings in your life. Some of us may have to process some things that have been going on, on the inside of us. Even maybe in recent days regarding a family member, a coworker, a spouse, a child, a grandchild, whatever the case might be. We might need to bring it to the Lord and say, “Lord, help me to process through how I’m feeling.” Or maybe “I don’t really know how I’m feeling. I just know that my walls feel like they’re up.”

The Lord helps us to forgive…

Just remember when you put your walls up with someone else that you inadvertently are putting up your walls toward the Lord as well. The Lord wants us to watch over our hearts and to keep our hearts open toward Him. And He can help us do that. He can help us heal. He will help us to process through the things that have occurred to us in our lives…

So that we can be restored
So that we can be made whole
So that we can be forgiving and therefore able to receive forgiveness freely.

Psalm 23 says…

“The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.”

I like that. In other words, He’s able to put back together your inward parts that are broken and disjointed and out of sorts. He’s able to heal us emotionally, physically, mentally. However we need healing.

It goes on to say…

“He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His namesake. Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and your staff (your Word and your Spirit) they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Notice, it says, “Besides still…” One translation says “calm, restful waters.” The very next statement is, “There He restores our soul.”

Invite the Holy Spirit to put His finger on that part of your soul that is unforgiving…

So I just pray this morning for anyone, if you need a restorative work on the inside of your life and your soul and your emotions, just invite the Holy Spirit to put His finger on that part of your soul that is chaotic right now, that is unforgiving right now, that is hardened due to some things that have occurred in your past or even in recent days. The Lord desires to restore, to heal, to breathe fresh life upon us, in us, through us.

Prophecy: The church is moving into epic times…

I’m going to read something to you and then we’re going to pray into this. This is a prophecy given just a few weeks ago. And it says this. This is epic.

“The church is moving into epic times propelled by an ever-increasing glory as it embraces calling of hosting the Lord’s presence. World-changing manifestations of God’s presence will now be seen on the earth. The ever-increasing glory presence of King Jesus will become demonstrably real. Heavier and heavier. Greater and greater. More and more powerfully demonstrated. It will be epic and nations will begin to pivot into His ways.”

It’s happening now, right? Nations are pivoting. They’re pivoting towards the Lord. They’re pivoting toward His ways. It says…

“Epic times planned by the Godhead will happen. Epic will happen. Epic changes will happen. Pivotal will happen. Epic events will shift the earth realm. What is said to be impossible will happen. The glory of the Lord will not diminish. It will rise in far greater measure and knowledge of His glory and it will fill the whole earth. Sounds in the heavens will be heard. Fire will fall. World changes will happen. Nations will be realigned and the weight of the glory will greatly increase bringing great change. It will be epic.

“Bondages will be broken. Promises will be kept. That promise God gave to you is being kept right now. He’s in the process of following through on what He said he would do.” There needs to be an a new level of fervency in our voices and in the volume of what we articulate. Take hold of the promise of God.

Pray the promise.
Contend for the promise.
Stand for the promise.
Shout the promise.
Pray the promise.
Worship with the promise.

All right, that’s Ken Olson. That’s not the prophecy.

Prophecy continued…

“Bondages will be broken. Promises will be kept. Dominoes of the wicked will fall as prophesied.”

That’s happening right now. You know Jeremiah 49 said that the Lord would break the bow of Elam. Well, guess what? ELAM, in ancient times, was the southwestern part of Persia, a.k.a. modern-day Iran. God is breaking the bow of Elam, and He’s making a way for the millions of Christians in Iran to be able to enjoy religious freedom. And for a Great Awakening to spread across what is ancient Persia or modern-day Iran.

Prophecy continued…

“Dominoes of the wicked will fall as prophesied. The presence of King Jesus will be seen in manifest ways upon His people. Power from heaven will fall. Epic revival will flow through the nations, confirmed by signs, wonders, and notable miracles. The glory river will rise at levels never seen before. Waters to swim in as promised. The river of God on the earth will come to flood stage. Move into epic times. Epic times are before you.”

Prayed…

And so, Father, we just pray into that right now this morning.
We say, Lord, help us to move into these epic times that have been prophesied.
We pray, Lord, make history in Jesus’ name. Open the door today, Father.
We pray over the unfolding events in Iran.
Lord, we know you have a plan even stated and prophesied from ancient times, so unfold your plan.
Make progress, take ground, have your way through Israel, through America in what is occurring there.
Lord, that you would open up a way to bring about the culmination of your intention in that great nation.
We today call Iran, Lord, we lift it up to you. And we pray, Lord, get a great harvest.

Another prophetic word from Tim Sheets…

Now let me give you another prophetic word to put in your hip pocket to stir your heart all the more. Tim Sheets prophesied just a couple days ago.

He said…

“By the Spirit of the Lord, I will reintroduce the Holy Spirit to this world. He will function… [function was emphasized] …in invisible leadership of My church in worldwide ways with explosive powers. Releases of signs, wonders, healings, miracles, and great deliverance will manifest in every continent of this world as He leads greater weights of my glory.

“For this is not a regional outpouring as Jerusalem in the Book of Acts and as the first Ecclesia, and thus requires great measure of glory into the earth realm. This is to be the outpouring on all flesh I prophesied through the Prophet Joel into the nation’s for the greatest revival.

“All seven continents will experience Holy Spirit’s greatness of power demonstrated through my true Ecclesia. For a fullness of time has come. Due seasons are before you of ordained inheritance for this moment.”

So, in other words, get ready!

Your due season is at hand. You woke up this morning thinking it was just another day. No, it’s not just another day. This is your day of salvation. This is the dawning of your deliverance. This is the day of your breakthrough. And you are stepping through today. Come on now.

I’m looking for some people that will say to themselves, “That’s me. I’m willing to step up and step into what has been promised to me.”

You’ve got to take it now! You’ve got to take it by force. Come on now!
