Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Hey everybody! Happy snow day. Hallelujah. We live in Minnesota. Those of you that are on the live stream, we’re having a little bit of interesting weather here in Minnesota. But we’re here to pray. So thank you for joining us. And those of you that are in here live, wow. You are the troopers for sure. The troopers are in the house!
Pastor Tammara…
Hello everyone. My name is Tammara, and I just had some things on my heart to share. The Lord has been stirring in me more and more the importance of just setting aside time for Him and being in His presence. And I’m sure like most of you feel like I do, that there’s a deep sense of urgency, a stirring, a separation that God is calling us to. He’s calling us to step up higher into the place that He’s called each of us to. And it’s like no more living on a low plane. It’s time for us to all step up and take our place, our rightful place that He’s prepared and predestined for each of us. Amen.
We all have unique giftings and callings…
And I think about how each of us is different. We all have a unique gifting and calling, and none of them are insignificant in the kingdom because He can use each of us. Amen. And I think about how we’re graduated from bootcamp to get onto the playing field. It’s no longer being on the sidelines looking and hoping. He wants us to step into those things. And He’ll give us boldness. He’ll give us the “unctions” to speak, when to speak them at the right time. I always pray this: “I’m at the right place at the right time with the right words from heaven.” And when we’re open to that, when we say, “Lord, I’m available to you,” I kid you not, every time I say that, He always opens up an opportunity. He always puts us in front of people.
Myles Munroe, “Maximizing the Moment” book…
Myles Munroe has a book called “Maximizing the Moment,” or something like that. So each and every day that He’s given us, we must maximize that moment. That moment is for now. It’s for today. It’s for that appointed time. It’s for that appointed person that He’s put into our sphere of influence.
We all have a sphere of influence…
And I think about it, we all have a sphere of influence. We all have a tribe, a village of people that the Lord has sent each and every one of us to be a blessing and to minister to, to give that word in season when we need to give that word in season. And not back down. It may feel kind of like, “Oh my gosh, what am I doing?” But when we step out, it may be our hairstylist, our barber, grocery store clerk, our dentist, whoever it might be. It may be a smile. It might be a hug. And the Lord puts those nudgings in our hearts to call people. We don’t just think about people just to think about them. But it’s for a purpose. And so I want to exhort all of us in this time and season that we’re living in to step up and step out. And do it afraid! And do it afraid because we know that the Lord is going to back us up. If He’s done it before, He’s going to do it again.
Kenneth Copeland prophecy from August 31, 1984…
I want to read this prophecy by Kenneth Copeland that was given on August 31, 1984, at the Southwest Believers Convention. It says…
“But for every step you take, because I call you, I’ll give you two steps of joy. And I’ll repay and I’ll repay and fold after fold after fold. And you’ll know My grace, My power, My work, My name, My Son, My life, My Spirit, My ways, My pathway, My earth and My heavens. And you’ll soon know Me as the resurrection!
Step out into what He’s called us to do…
And I want to encourage us in that: to step out… to step out and step into what He’s called us to. This past Friday, there was a team of us that went out and it’s called The Inspired Group. And since January, we’ve been going out to various places within Brooklyn Park, inviting people to Living Word. And we just take the step of faith, open our mouths, and the Lord will fill it. Each and every team have had divine appointments and connections that the Lord had already set up. There may be a mother praying for their daughter or praying for their son, but we were at the right place at the right time.
Divine appointments…
And there were two ladies that I can recall. One lady was sitting in her car. I engaged her in conversation. Come to find out she had dealt with cancer, is dealing with it. It had been in remission. It came back. So I prayed for her. Open our mouths and the Lord will fill it. Amen. We never know what people are going through. We don’t know their stories, but when we hear their story, we’re blessed by it. We’re blessed by other story just by asking them. And then she began to tell me that her dad was dealing with alcoholism. So we prayed for that.
Another lady was in her car and we gave out the invitation card for Easter and I prayed for her. She had been dealing with some challenges with her marriage. We prayed for that. She’s going to be coming this weekend.
And I would encourage you, when you do step out, invite people to church. And let’s just say for example, you have a connection with them. You may exchange contact information to meet them, maybe in the main lobby. I do that a lot. “I’ll meet you in the main lobby at 10:45.” But when we do that, we know that the enemy doesn’t want them to be there. Right? He doesn’t. And so we pray in advance that the Lord will remove every distraction out of their way, any hindrances, so that they can be there and they can be blessed. And the lady that I invited, she wasn’t able to make it this past Sunday, but I sent her the link. So I just encourage you all. Thank you so much.
Pastor Folu…
Thank you, honey bunny. Hallelujah. Thank you so much for coming this morning. Just continuing in that same vein that my wife has been sharing on, I want to read this real quickly. It’s a wonderful word. Specifically for this year, actually. Listen to what the head of the church says.
“And life and life abundantly that I promised you. I said it when I was on the earth, the thief comes but to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But I have come that you might have life, that you might have it in abundance until it overflows.”
Think about that! Until it overflows. Because I am the good shepherd. I went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. He’s still the oppressor, and I am still the healer. We will work together and we will see great victories come in this nation.
2024 will be a year of more and more and more…
2024 will be a year, saints, listen to this. This is beautiful. “2024 will be a year of more and more and more and more.” Think about it. How our Lord is just repeating Himself just so that we can get it. It says “more finances, more healings, more miracles, more outpourings, more people coming to Jesus. More things happening. I am the God of increase, saith the Lord. I am the God of increase.”
The Lord is opening doors…
My wife was talking about this new inspired group. I am very excited about this group and just to see how the Lord is opening doors. We got permission from two gas stations in Brooklyn Park to hand out the Easter invite cards. As people were coming in, as they were going into the store… I mean, we just took over. There was 11 of us. We just took over. Those two gas stations. And you could see the first man, when we approached him, he was hesitant. I don’t know if he was Muslim or not, but he was hesitant. Like, “What exactly do you want to do?” “Well, we want to come, as people are buying gas, as they’re coming into the shop to buy whatever they want to buy, we want to engage them.” And we showed him the invite card. He’s like, “Hmm, okay.”
Well the Lord got a hold of his heart. And, saints, the Lord gave us much favor. I mean, in less than an hour, we invited way over a hundred people. They were just taking it. It was like the Lord had just prepared them. They’re like, “Where’s that church again? Oh yeah, yeah. I’ve seen that church. I’ve seen your sign. Oh yeah. And I need to go somewhere for Easter.” I mean, they were just taking it like… I was like, wow, this is amazing.
Son, why are you surprised…
And then the Lord reminded me, “Son, why are you surprised? You go to a praying church. You are praying. Your church members are praying. Your church leaders are praying. The staff are praying. Why are you surprised?” I mean, just like my wife was saying, people are just, I was like, wow, they’re just waiting. They’re hurting.
There was a lady, she was so hungry, so desperate to go to church. She ended up in a Mormon church and she’s like, “What am I doing here?” She’s like, “No, this is not the church I want to be in.” So she’s going to be here this coming Sunday. Thank you, Lord.
Word by Kenneth E. Hagin…
Saints, this is a little heavy subject, but it has to do with inviting. I think we all know Brother Hagin around here. So he was having a meeting. He says…
“While I was conducting a revival in Rockwell, Texas during the latter part of August and the first part of September, 1950, I called the people around the altar for prayer at 10 p.m. September 2. As I was praying, the Spirit of the Lord came upon me in a wonderful way, and I began to pray in other tongues. In a few minutes, I heard a voice saying unto me, ‘Come up hither.’ I looked up and saw Jesus standing with a crown in His hands. He said, ‘This is a soul winner’s crown.’ The crown was most beautiful and human language could never describe it. He said to me, ‘My people….’
Saints, I’ve had to do a lot of repenting about this word. I asked the Lord to forgive me. I asked Him to help me. I asked Him to help me not to be indifferent. So I’ve done a lot concerning this. He said…
“My people are so careless and indifferent. This crown is for every one of My children.’ I speak and say, ‘Go speak to this one, or pray for that one.’ But My people are too busy. They put it off. And souls are lost because they will not obey Me.
“I wept before Him and repented of my failures. [This is brother Hagin speaking.] Jesus then said to me, ‘Come up hither.’ And it seemed, I went with Him through the air till I saw a beautiful city.” He said we did not go into the city but beheld it at a close range, how beautiful and indescribable it was. Jesus said, “My people are so selfish. They say they are ready and talk about their mansions and the glories of heaven, while many all around them are in darkness and have no hope. Share your hope with them. Invite them to come with you.”
Hallelujah. I think I saw this particular word about a year ago and I just said, “Lord, help me, forgive me when you’ve stirred my heart to say something, do something and just like doing this, going there, doing my own thing.”
And so I just want us as a church, people that are streaming this, if this speaks to you in any way, to just take it before the Lord. It’s interesting that the very first thing He did is He showed Brother Hagin that crown. He said, “This is a soul winner’s crown.” He said the crown was most beautiful and human language could never describe.
So, Father, in the name of Jesus, for those that this speaks to, we just come before you in repentance that you would forgive us. Forgive us of being careless and indifferent. You said that this crown, Lord, letting us know that and we all see it in the book of Revelation… that is for every one of your children.
Lord, I just pray as you speak to us and say, “Hey, go pray for that one or go do this. Help us, Lord, not to be too busy. Help us not to put it off.”
Souls are lost because they will not obey Me…
When I was reading this, the part that really got me is “and souls are lost because they will not obey Me.” That really got me. What if that person was a family member or somebody that was dear to me, even when it comes to family and maybe the Lord said, “Call him” or “Do this.” The Lord made this so vivid to me.
About two weeks ago, Pastor Sean came into my office and he needed some help to visit someone. And I said, “Okay, Pastor Sean, I’ll go.” It was to a member’s house in Bloomington. She’s in her mid-eighties. So the reason for her requesting a visit was because her husband was going into hospice and she wanted somebody to come and pray and connect with them. And so as I was in their house visiting with them, like I said, just two weeks ago, all of a sudden the conversation changed and the lady began to tear up. The husband was there, but he was a little hard of hearing. She began to tear up. She said “All my life, I’ve been praying for my husband that he will come to know Jesus. We have four grown boys, men really.” She said he would come with me from time to time to church events, but he’s never really received the Lord.
And this boldness came upon me as I was sitting there. We were just visiting and all of a sudden she got heavy on me real quick. I’m like, ah, okay. And so I looked at her husband and the Lord amplified his hearing because I wasn’t speaking that much louder. And he was able to hear me and she’s like, “You can hear him?” He is like, “yes.” The end of the story is that the gentleman ended up getting saved. It’s because that woman has been praying all these years for him. And I’m sure all the rest of the kids and everybody else. It was not even a week, she called me up. She said, “Folu, thank you so much for coming to my house last week. My husband just passed.” Saints, that touched me. Because I’m like, wow, what if I told Pastor Sean, “Bloomington? That’s a ways. Just wait for your team members to get back. I have a lot of things going on right now.” And it just reminded me of what Jesus said here. Because I could have not obeyed that and said, “Oh well. Bless the Lord.”
