Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Prayer leader Cindy…

Good morning, everyone. Thank you for coming.

Prayed…

I thank you, Father, for the assembling of ourselves together in your great and awesome name.
Thank you, Father, that we have this right and privilege to access your courts.
So our hearts are full.
We continue to be in that tranquil state of mind, assured of our salvation.
And today, as long as it’s called today, there’s salvation, there’s restoration, there’s peace with God.
We thank you for all that you have done for us and filling us with your very Spirit.
You said, “If I don’t leave, I can’t send you the Holy Spirit.”
And now we’re united in Christ Jesus together, and there’s no separation.
There’s no daylight between us and you and the Father.
We’re in Christ Jesus.
And you are revealing yourself more and more to us as we simply just abide in you.
Thank you that your Spirit is abiding in us even right now, increasing and expanding our hearts.
Just like the universe is increasing and expanding daily.
We increase and expand in the capacity to receive more and more of you because it will never cease.
You are the eternal Father, the Prince of Peace, our all in all who fills us to the full.
And I thank you, Lord, that you’re expanding in the earth through your chosen vessels.
Lord, we are called, and we are chosen simply because we show up.
Those who show up to the game get to play.
We just thank you, Lord, that we get to play in all the things that you’ve prepared today.
We delight in you.
You are the joy and the rejoicing of our hearts.
To be in your presence is life itself.
To know you more and more is your earnest expectation, and we line up with that today.
We line up and say, “Be it unto us even as you have planned. Be it unto us even as you’ve written it down in your Word.
Your Word that never fails to satisfy and satisfy again and again in the face of all contradiction.

Cindy shared…

James Tan was talking about how obedience is different than submission. Submission is like we submit ourselves to God because it’s wise, it’s advantageous, it’s the right thing to do because He’s God after all. And we are learning to love Him.

How do we learn to love Him?

By turning to Him and letting Him fill our cup once more and again, because He is good and only good. No shadow of turning.

Prayed…

Let us, Father, deeply understand how good you are. Let us deeply understand it, and we can’t do that without stepping out in faith. Because faith is the substance of things God hopes for. And we want to please you today, Lord. We want to please you.

And Lord, we know that any time we turn to you and look at you, you’re pleased. Even when we’re looking away, you’re still, “Come on,” because we’re never meant to exist outside of God. So every time we turn to Him, no matter what we were doing, there’s no condemnation.

He’s like, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden, I will most assuredly give you rest. There’s no contingence. Just turn to Me and be illuminated. And come and see that you were never meant to be outside of Me.”

Our goal is to be “in Him…”

In the Bible it says “I have no good beside Him or before Him, but I have good in Him.” And even, like, I was listening to the Lord, and I was asking Him, “Well, okay, if I’m not beside you or before you, what other positions would I have?”

Behind.

There’s okay, that’s fine. We’re following God, but the whole goal is to be “in Him.” So we put on the Lord Jesus Christ. We make no provision for the flesh. We resist the Devil. We submit ourselves to God. Resist the Devil and he has to flee. No more fighting, no more toiling, no more struggling. This is what is required.

He is our all in all…

We turn to you. We defer to you. No more does the world have sway because we’re looking to you today. And you are the one who fills us. For in the body of Christ lives the fullness of God who filleth all in all.

Prayer leader Kaye…

There is no one like you, God.

That’s what Cindy was saying, and it’s like “there is none like God.”

Okay, we know this is election day. We know. We have lots of opinions. But let’s just stay where Cindy got us to. There is none like God, and He is our hope.

Book called “A Million Little Miracles”

There’s a book called “A Million Little Miracles.” It’s not only God’s mercies that are new every morning, it’s His miracles. Every day, without exception, we experience miracles big and small, visible and invisible, tangible and intangible. The reality is you are on a giant merry-go-round that is spinning on its axis at 1,000 miles an hour. And speeding through space at 67,000 miles per hour, that is nothing short of miraculous.

Are we worried about the elections?

No. He’s got it. If you have prayed, we believe. We don’t give it a second thought, do we, that we’re spinning and that we’re going 67,000 miles per hour. Even on a day when you feel like, “Ugh, I just didn’t get much done,” you did. You traveled 1.6 million miles through space. Our God is amazing.

But wait, there’s more.

The Milky Way Galaxy is spinning at 468,000 miles per hour, and we don’t even get dizzy. Meanwhile, the Milky Way is moving at 1,342,162 miles per hour toward something astrophysicists call the Great Attractor. Things that make you go, “Hmm.”

We are well cared for. We are well taken care of. He calls us to pray in accordance with Him. We get into Him where all our protection is, where all our power is, where all our authority is, and it all works by love.

Great opinions are good. Education is great. All these things that maybe know all the ins and outs of every political dealing going on in the back deals, you kind of wish that I just knew more. But all those things are great, but they’re all but nothing if there’s not love compelling you to act, if there’s not love working through you.

In 1st Corinthians 13, it says it’s all just “dung.” It’s all just tinkling symbols and just noise. Have you ever been in something where the noise… Well, to me, like traffic noise, just grates on you? That’s what our actions are if love is not compelling us. So let in the Creator, He’s in us. Let’s lift up Minnesota in love. Let’s lift up our nation in love.

Prayed…

Father, we thank You that You have, in love, brought people forth.
Years ago when they were born, You designed for them to be in office at this time.
And we want to hook up with You, Father.
You are the great planner.
You’ve been planning this primary for years and years and years.
And as we’re spinning through earth, we acknowledge who You are.
You are the Creator.
You are God of the universe.
And Minnesota is a small piece, but You have Minnesota held in Your hand.
Minnesota didn’t spin off while you’re spinning.
Minnesota is held by You.
We are held by You this day.
So in love, Father, we pray for Minnesota.
We ask, Lord, that You bring us righteous leaders.
Leaders that the ones that You designed to be in authority will be there.
And there’s not a devil in hell that can stop it.
We declare, in Jesus’ name, every polling place will be filled with Your glory and no violence will even be able to get near the property.
We shut down violence in Jesus’ name.
We thank You, Father, that in love we have compassion for the communities in Minnesota.
We have compassion for the counties, for the polling, every area.
We have compassion, for we know that where the righteous leaders are, the people prosper.
And Father, we want all the people to prosper.
And that Your kingdom to shine over every community in Minnesota.
That Your love would rain down and that people would be set free from addictions.
They would be set free from heartache.
That they would be set free from the tyranny of all the things that politicians can do.
Father, we thank You that You keep us held as we’re spinning through earth, going towards that great attractor, that we are in Your place.
We are yours in You, and that Minnesota, because we, the righteous, take it, and we put Minnesota into God’s hands.
And we take it, and we place it in the palm of His hand.
Father, we pray for them that have run on this election.
We ask that You bless them, that you protect them, that they stepped out and did what they thought was right.
But, Father, we know that only one can win.
And so, Father, we ask you that you move the one ahead that you know that in this time, in this place, in this city, in this state, this is the one today.
So Father, we anoint everyone that you have asked to be in these offices, Lord, getting ready for the election in November.
We plead the blood of Jesus over this whole process.
Father, may your people rise up in love, walking through those precincts in love.
Father, that your people will be the ones like shining stars.
We are the image bearer of our King, and there is nothing that the Devil can do to us.
Like a wave, Father, when we go into those polling places, the Spirit of God goes ahead.
That the Spirit of God works through those ballots and the counting and all the process.
We commit our way to you and knowing that you will do the right thing, and you will do your will.
We call forth every Minnesotan to come to the time to vote.
