Mary led group in worship…

♪ Lord, You’re beautiful… Your face is all I see… and when Your eyes are on this child, Your grace abounds to me… ♪

Pastor Ray prayed…

Lord, Your ways are higher… Your voice is clearer… We know You’re speaking and we believe to continually hear… You’re beautiful in all Your ways… today… You’re leading, guiding, direction, moving, and lifting us… we’re moving from one degree of glory to another… thank You, Father… It’s like from one shift to another shift to another… But we know, Father, it’s in our hearts… moving by Your Spirit, taking and moving to that place of grace and connecting with You… moving from the natural and more into the realm of the Spirit… Spirit led and directed… thank You, Father…

Pastor Ray shared…

This thought came to me yesterday in the chapel. I was reminded of this while we were in prayer that it’s the most important thing in prayer is getting out of our minds and moving into our hearts. We know that’s the most effective prayer. Praying out of our hearts. It became clear to me that I was to make every effort to not be in a rush. There’s not some natural deal that is so important that we fail to get into our hearts. That’s our connection to heaven. We know that prayer is connecting and talking with God. And it’s not a one-way deal. He’s continually speaking.

I’m just flowing with this right now. Maybe there are times when we should just shut up. Be still and know what He’s saying. We can be that way even when we’re worshiping or praying in the Holy Ghost, lifting up things that we know. We can be that sensitive to hear His voice. That’s how it was for me yesterday. You have to lay aside what you think you should pray about and move more into Him and then you can hear more clearly. Then pray about that.

What happens when we draw near to Him? He draws near to us. Who do we need more of? Him. We need Him. We need You, Lord. We need more of You. We’re hungry for you and we desire more of Your presence in our lives. We desire more of Your presence in other people’s lives too. We want it for everyone.

All the division we observe in these days, we can stay in a place where that doesn’t faze us. We’re not moved by it. We’re moved by Him. Last evening, we had Senator Paul Gazelka and his wife, Maralee speak to all the prayer directors. He’s a man of peace, a man of character, a man of the Word.

I gave them free reign to do and say whatever he wanted. They talked about situations politically. He’s the head of the Senate. He’s there because God put him there. He’s led by the Spirit. He does what the Spirit tells him to do. He makes peace with those that oppose his ways and he’s not in agreement with their ways. But he can still connect. What he would do is bring up a situation and then he’d go to prayer about it in our meeting. How many meetings have you been in where a senator talks half the time and then prays the other half. If he didn’t pray, then his wife prayed. They’d lift up the situation as we went along. Love it!

He is a prime example of who or how the people that are in government should be. Prayer is a priority with them. They’re together in it. We were blessed and honored to have that impartation and it helped to put a face to some things in Minnesota. We’re not just getting through the election next week and then settle down and relax for a while. No. It’s not over. It’ll never be over. If we want to see Minnesota be the state we’re believing it to be, which is more godly, more directed by Heaven, we have to keep it up. We cannot be on the defensive. We have to be on the offense. Contend!

I want to share a part of a prophecy from brother Kenneth Hagin. He’s talking about prayer and he said this.

Some would say, “Our church is a singing church.”
Others would say, “Our church is a Word church.”
Some have said, “Our church is a power church.”
But yea, saith the Lord, I’m seeking for a praying church.
I’m seeking for those that will wait upon Me.
For you can never sing like you ought to sing until you’ve waited upon Me, saith the Lord of hosts.
For you can never praise like you should praise.
For you can never really walk in faith to the extent that you should walk in faith, until you’ve waited … until prayer is as much a part of your being as breathing is of your physical man.
You can never really enjoy the fullness of the Word and the power will never be in full manifestation, until you become known as a praying church.

The guest ministers that come here sense that this is a praying church. How do they sense it? By the presence of God and people receiving the Word preached. We want to be moving a step up to another level. That means in the times we gather together corporately, we’re going to ve aware that we have to get into our hearts and then be directed by the Spirit.

If I wanted to say something to Mary and I was on the other side of the door, I might maybe be able to get her attention if I hollered loud enough. But the best way that I could communicate with her is to get closer to her. I would come into the room. It’s the same way with heaven.

Group prayed in the spirit…

Pastor Ray interjected…

Take a state. Let God give you a state to pray about. Let Him bring it to your heart and then we’re going to pray for the states.

Prayed…

We cover the states with the blood of Jesus … we’re taking a trip to these different states by the Spirit and calling things right… the perfect will and plan of God… we declare “lies—you be exposed! Uncovered for what you are and what you’ve been trying to do”…

Now let’s pray in other tongues we don’t know but God knows…
