Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Prayer leader Jeannie…

Good morning. Thank you for coming to Corporate Prayer. Once again, we have the most powerful people on the planet here. Don’t forget that. Let’s open up prayer with prayer, shall we? I am Jeannie. My husband, Mike, is here also.

Prayer…

Father, I just thank you so much for the time that you’ve put us here to be on the earth, to be in Minnesota. These are Bible times for us, and we are people of the Word. We are people of promise. We’re people of faith. And Father, I thank you for the honor and the privilege to be people of promise and people of faith in Minnesota knowing that you are faithful to watch over your Word to perform it. And we rely on the faith of God in the finished work, in Jesus’ name.

We do not lean to our own understanding…

So today, we do not lean on or trust in or have any confidence in our own understanding. But we lean into what the Father has already said about this area. We lean into it.

Mike, can you come up here for a minute? Okay. So there can be a temptation to “Here comes Michelle Bachman.” Okay. Just pretend you’re wearing a wig and a gorgeous dress. She had the best outfit on last night. I loved her outfit. Anyway, massive credibility. A ton of experience. Lots of lived experience. We can be tempted when we hear someone who carries that authority present to you the things that need prayer. We can be tempted to hear it as things that are wrong and are never going to change. But that is what we hear when we’re leaning on our own understanding. I’m just going to say it again. So here’s Michelle. Massive credibility, has been in office, has done a lot. And I’m listening and I hear all these things going on. And I’m like… No, that’s wrong.

Prayer leader Mike…

That’s wrong. They’re doing this. I see them doing that.

Avoid the temptation…

So there can be all kinds of things when you hear a bad report. Or how about the spies when they checked out the land and they came back with everything that was wrong. Right? The temptation is to hear “that’s never going to change.” Do you really believe that she came to our church last night to tell us everything that’s not going to change? No. No! It’s because we have the name of Jesus and she came… She even said, “I came back sooner than planned.” Because prayer is required. Because it’s getting it done. Prayer puts legs to things. Prayer clears the way for us to hear clearly. We enter into His rest. It’s an active rest. It’s a rest that makes the way straight.

So even as we hear what’s happening, it is as a watchman on the wall saying, “Okay, here’s what’s about to shift as we co-labor with Holy Spirit.” So I’m going to read this scripture, and then we’re going to start praying. Okay, so here we go.

Proverbs 3…

“Lean on, trust in, be confident in the Lord with all your heart.” Does it say with 90% of your heart? No. No! Lean on… We lean on. Okay, so we add the expert talking over here. But the whole time I’m leaning on God with all my heart. Okay? I’m not going by what the facts might say. I’m going by what God is saying. So here’s Michelle Bachman, massive credibility and she’s talking and I start to lean on my own understanding and take what she’s saying as never going to change. And I start to shrink. And then I lean on God and I’m like, “She’s saying it so we can declare the goodness of God.” And then I’m like, “Yeah, but she has so much credibility and I don’t understand why she’s saying it.” And I’m like leaning on God. I’m like, “No! Jesus is God of Minnesota.” See?

This is great practice for us. Because we apply this actually to every area. So we lean on, we trust in, we lean on, we trust in, and we are confident in the Lord with all of our heart and mind. Isn’t that cool? So with all of our heart, and all of our thinking, we remain leaning, trusting, and confident in the Lord.

The enemy’s tactics are exposed…

So we just had one of the most powerful people on the planet just say that when she was saying those things, the enemy doesn’t like it because his tactics are being exposed. That’s what was going on.

We do not rely on our own insight or understanding. In all of our ways, we know, recognize and acknowledge Him and He directs, He makes straight and plain our paths.

Do you hear that? So even as we pray today, He’s making His way straight in the wilderness, in the desert. And then it’s health to our nerves, sinews and marrow and moistening to our bones. Mike just talked about the dry bones in Ezekiel. They start coming alive. All of those things that look like they’re never going to come to pass, the way is made straight and the kingdom of God coming alive in Minnesota.

Prayed…

Father, we thank you for the activity of Holy Spirit.
Thank you, Father, for your plan. St. Paul. Damascus moments that shift and turn and change the course of Minnesota. They’ve already begun.
We see change. We tell those things, “Shift.”
Those ancient, ancient ways of the enemy… “Shift. Be crushed. Be gone.”
The Kingdom of God. We declare it over this time.

Prayer leader Mike…

As we were praying, I was reminded… I looked it up in Hebrews three, and He says, “Then while it is still called today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts as the rebellion.”

Prayed…

Father, we don’t harden our hearts when you’re telling us “don’t be afraid, stand up. I am with you.”
That we don’t harden our hearts because… that we stop hearing His voice because things sound so hard. And this is really impactful.

It’s always today…

It says, “Then while it is still called today…” By the way, it’s always today. It’s never tomorrow. It’s never yesterday. It’s always today. If you hear it, when you hear His voice, His voice is not saying, “Just be really sure that you know how bad this is.” God’s not saying you should be really concerned because that looks too overwhelming. He never says that. He says, “Don’t harden your hearts” as they did in the rebellion. They provoked and irritated and embittered God against them. For who were they who heard God’s word, yet we’re rebellious and provoked Him. Was it not all those who were led out of captivity, out of Egypt by Moses, the ones that he said, I brought you all out of this.

It was those same people who saw Him do great things. And it says “in whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest? That place of being so confident in who God is, who He said He is, and who He said we are. But He swore to those who disobeyed, who had not listened to His word and who refused to be compliant or even be persuaded. So we see that they were not able to enter His rest because of their unwillingness to adhere to and trust in and rely on God because unbelief had shut them out.

Prayed…

Father, we thank you that the power of your Word, the power of what you’ve already said, the power of what you are continually speaking, you don’t stop talking just because you know things are bad and you’re trying to figure out what to do next. You are always speaking.

Enter into His rest…

He was trying to get their attention back then because He saw that if they entered that rest, everything would just be amazing. And rest does not mean the absence of conflict. Rest is you’re able to sit, that you can see from that position so you can see clearly what’s going on. And we’re not troubled in our hearts. He said so many times… Like going into that, Joshua… I was looking it up in the end of Deuteronomy in 31, Moses was telling Joshua the same thing. “Be courageous, be strong. Do not fear because God’s going to be with you.” And then after Moses died, God comes like, “Hey, by the way, I need to tell you this again because what you’re walking into looks pretty scary, but I already gave it to you.”

We have His name…

He already has given us the name of Jesus. He already gave us that name. Jesus went through everything so that He could exalt His name to the highest. He went to the lowest of low places for us. Why? So that God could exalt Him and so that we could be with God forever, with Jesus in us, and God in us, and us in Him. So that we can overcome all of these things that we are facing.

Prayed…

Father, I thank you that that name isn’t just a name and we just throw it around, but we actually, Holy Spirit, you really show us what that word means in us, because that is the one thing that is going to help us not just get through or hold on or just wait till things settle or calm down. He gave us His name for all of that, but He also gave us that name for victory.

We declare victory…

So Father, we declare that victory that is already inside of us. We don’t need to go outside to find something. It’s right here inside of us. You planned it that way. So that’s the one thing the enemy can’t steal. Now he can try to persuade you. He can make things look so bad that you start questioning it. But we are not going to be like those who couldn’t enter that rest because we were unwilling to adhere, to trust in, and rely on God because unbelief had shut us out from being able to enter. They couldn’t do that. We have it.

Prayed…

So I thank you, Father, that we are hearing your voice today. We will not harden our hearts today. We are not hardened by difficulties to keep going, to keep pushing through, to keep declaring the name of Jesus, not just as like a, “I declare the name of Jesus.” That’s right. But we get to the point where we actually know the power of that name because it has changed. It will continue to change things. It will never stay the same.

God doesn’t change His mind…

God said He’s not a man that He should lie or change His mind. He has not changed His mind when He said if you hear My voice and you harken to it, you’re going to enter that rest. You’re going to enter that mindset, that heart set where your soul, like David said, “You know what, soul? Despite what’s going on, you praise the Lord. You praise the Lord. Why are you so downcast? Do you not know what this word has for you? Do you not know what is living inside you, the authority that you have inside of you?

Jesus says, “Yes, you’re going to face all these things. You’re going to face hard times. But I overcame.” And it’s not so He can say like, look how awesome I am. He is like look how awesome God is through Me that now I am in you for you to do.

Prayed…

Thank you, Father, that we are here in this time to declare the power of your Word. That we won’t shrink back. That we will continue to stand on your Word. We will continue to declare your Word. We are not going to be hardened by things. We’re not going to become bitter. We’re not going to become hopeless. We’re not going to become discouraged or anxious about everything you said.

Jesus demonstrated everything…

Whatever you’re anxious about, pray about those things and thank Him for the answer. He gave us what to do. He showed us what to do. He demonstrated everything. He went through all of that, not just to show how great God is. Of course, that was there, but He did it because He saw us standing here today, standing in agreement against these things that come against everything that the enemy wants us to believe is not going to happen. But that’s not who God says. He’s like, “Look at those mighty warriors.” Just like Gideon.

Gideon was hiding and the Lord sent an angel to him and said, “You mighty man of valor.” And what came to mind? Yeah but… Yeah but… Yeah But…

That might’ve looked like it wasn’t natural, but God was not looking at the circumstance. He was looking at what He put inside of Gideon and He said you’ll be able to defeat a whole nation as if it was one guy.

So what did he do?

He got up and did what God told him to do. I’m sure he was probably nervous, wasn’t sure, but he finally got to the point. And people complain that Gidion tested God to make sure it was God. We do that all the time. It’s not like there’s no precedent. But thank God, we have the Holy Spirit to show us and convict us and comfort us and give us strength and remind us. That’s another thing the Holy Spirit came to do, is to remind us of what He’s already said. What He’s already done. We all have had defeats, but you know what? We’ve also all had victories in some point in our life. And that’s what we are focusing on.
