Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Tamara…
Good morning, everyone. Welcome to Morning Prayer. How’s everybody doing? My name is Tamara. I’m one of the pastors here at Living Word and my husband, Pastor Folu, and I will be leading morning prayer this morning. And on behalf of our founding pastors, Mac and Lynne Hammond and our senior pastor, Jim Hammond, we want to welcome you to Morning Prayer.
Word from Kenneth Copeland, “I have already established it…”
I have a word that I wanted to read from Kenneth Copeland. And the title is, “I Have Already Established It.” And it’s from the Nigeria Victory Campaign.
It says…
“Increase, saith the Lord, is at hand. The nations of the world are being shuffled, moved, and spiritual wickedness in high places is doing everything in its power to keep My plan from coming to pass. Ahh… but, saith the Lord, it has no power because I have already established it in My Word. So say not in thine heart, ‘If only I knew what to do?’ Rather say, ‘I always know what to do. And I know by faith I can find out anything I need to if I spend time with Jesus, spend time in His presence in worship and praise, spend time meditating what He’s called me to do.’ For in those times, just the way I tapped you on your spiritual shoulder, the first direction, the first mandate I gave you, I will continue to say, ‘Go this way. No, go that way. Yes, go this way. Do this. Do that.’ I’m doing these things.
“You will surely see the miraculous hand of the one who gave you your new birth. Pressure comes from all sides, but rest in Me, the chastisement of your peace was upon me, saith the Lord. I am your peace. I am you and you are Me. And, together, we’re an unbeatable team. You have known Me in times past. You have known Me as your Savior. You’ve known Me as your healer. You’ve known me as the baptizer in the Holy Spirit. Many of you and more of you are coming in the place where you know Me as your financier, your high priest after the order of Melchizedek. But very, very soon, saith the Lord, sooner than you think, you will know me as the “great resurrection!”
“So the time of excellence is at hand. Only excellence of ministry will be able to sustain the kind of pressure that the god of the nations is putting on the nations to destroy them and to destroy your life and destroy your family and destroy your finances and destroy your very being if he could.
“Ahh, but when you reach for the excellence that is provided in the Word, and you declare ‘I will become a profitable servant, I won’t just wash the car, I will polish it too. I won’t just take back, that is what you say. I won’t just take back something I borrowed. I’ll take it back in better condition than it was before when I received it. Because, you see, I’m like My master. Anything I get my hands on in His name, I want to improve it. I’m an improver. I’m a prosperity agent going somewhere to help people with excellence in my lifestyle. Amen. And I walk in the light of the words of Jesus” ‘Do unto others what you would have them do unto you.’ For you see, saith the Lord, what you do unto others is what others do unto you. So rejoice. Again, I say rejoice. For the day and the time calling for excellence of ministry has come.”
Hallelujah. I think this is such a powerful word for this season that we’re in. And I just want us to pray over some different prayer points from this word.
First prayer point: Pray to know Jesus in a new dimension.
He’s our provider, our financier, our resurrection power.
Father, we just thank you for the revelation knowledge that you give us.
We thank you for being all those things to us, giving us revelation knowledge, and know what to do, when to do it, what to say, when to say it.
Father, we thank you for your direction that you give each of us, as you tap us on our shoulders: “Go here. Go there. Say this. Say that.”
Oh, Father, we are obedient to what you’ve called us to, and we’ll walk in realms of glory like we’ve never seen before as we take that step of faith out into what you’ve called us to.
We won’t even recognize ourselves.
Second prayer point: Prayer for excellence that withstands pressure and advances the calling.
Thank you, Father, that we are steadfast, we’re unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.
Everything that we put our hands to prospers.
Thank you, Father, that you’ve called us to do a mighty work in this hour and in this season.
And excellence in ministry is at hand, what you’ve called us to do, for witty ideas from heaven that you give each of us.
Third prayer point: Prayer to become a profitable servant and an improver, blessing others practically.
Thank you, Father, that we walk in integrity in everything that we put our hands to.
Father, we walk in all that you’ve called us to do.
We are profitable in everything that we put our hands to.
We give you praise and glory, for what you’ve put inside of each of us, that we will walk boldly to the calling that you’ve called us to.
We won’t slack back in these last days, but we will rise up in victory. We are victorious.
Fourth prayer point: Pray to know Jesus in a new dimension as our provider, our financier, our resurrection power.
Father, we know you as our Savior, our healer, our deliverer.
Thank you, Father, for what you’ve put in our hands.
Thank you, Lord, that we don’t take it for granted.
Each of us has a special gifting and calling, and we use it for your glory.
Thank you, Father, that we will finance the end time harvest.
We will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.
Thank you, Father, that we don’t slack back. We don’t compromise, but we walk forth in victory.
Fifth prayer point: Prayer for excellence that withstands pressure and advances the calling.
We thank you, Lord, that we are strengthened in you, that when pressure comes on every side, we look to you.
We are fruitful in everything and our lives are fruitful.
They reflect your glory, your power, your spirit within each of us.
Thank you, Father, that your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
So we thank you, Father, that we will continue to walk with you, side by side, hand in our hands.
Pastor Folu shared…
What the Lord has put on my heart to pray about this morning has to do with Easter. But before I do, I want to share this lovely story. It dovetails very well with Easter. A few weeks ago, we were beginning Alpha in the fellowship hall. Some of you might know about Alpha. Alpha is a 10-week series where people come and we start with a meal. Then after people finish eating, we watch a video for about 30 minutes. And then after they watch the video, they talk about the video that they just watched.
So when Alpha was launching, the Lord put it on my heart. He said, “Son, yes, it’s good for you to encourage the team to invite people, but what about you? Who are you going to invite?” So He put it on my heart to go after three people. So I had it on my list.
I said, “Lord, with your help, I will invite three people to come to the kickoff of Alpha.” And you will see how it correlates very well with Easter in few minutes. So I had three people. I wrote it down. I was on point. I was praying. And all three people the Lord gave me, showed up!
And when you’ve been believing God for something… I was like a little kid in the fellowship hall. I’m like, “My people are here!” It was so exciting. And that’s exactly how it’s going to be for this Easter as we all join in and believe God to invite people. So here’s what I’m going to be talking about for the balance of the time. We’re going to read some scriptures together aloud. We’ll read it together aloud. And then we have three prayer points.
First prayer point: The salvation of souls.
We’re going to be praying for salvation of souls. We’re going to be praying for the atmosphere of glory. We’re going to be praying for divine appointments. And then we’re going to make some declarations. We’re going to speak some words out together. And then finally, we’re going to charge the atmosphere with five practical things that we can do to invite people for Easter. So let’s get this show started. So salvation of every soul who walks through our doors. Let’s pray about that.
Prayed…
Father, we pray that every guest, every seeker, every first-time visitor and encounters the risen Savior personally at Easter in the next few weeks, right here at Living Word and at all the churches that preaches the truth all over this great state, all over this great country, and all over the nation, that every guest will encounter you, Father, that Easter Sunday becomes their day of a new birth.
We declare that no one leaves the same way they came in.
No one! Not the visitor, not the old timers like you and I that have been around for some time. Everybody leaves changed that weekend.
Salvation for every soul who works through our doors.
Question…
Who is the Lord putting on your hearts right now to maybe write down and say, “Okay, believe me for her.” Is it a neighbor of yours? At least one person, maybe two, maybe three. Who is He putting on your heart even right now? Please make a notation of that, especially now if He’s impressing a name, face about somebody that you can invite.
And you might say, but that person is not even local. It doesn’t matter. Living Word with the digital age, we’re online, we are streaming. They don’t have to physically come. If they’re out of state or out of country, or they cannot get here, they can stream the service.
Second prayer point: The atmosphere of the services to be of glory and expectation.
It’s important to have a great expectation because the expectation that we have will take that service to a whole new level. So let’s pray about that. Pray over every service, every seat, and everyone that is involved in the planning and the coordination. We pray right now.
Prayed…
Father, we pray for every single service. We’re praying for the service at five o’clock, the service at nine o’clock, the service at 11:15 on Sunday.
We intercede that the Spirit of God fills the sanctuary with His tangible presence.
The tangibility of God will be experienced by everyone that comes on that weekend in the name of Jesus.
That worship breaks open heaven and the Word lands with power, producing immediate results.
The atmosphere of the services to be one of glory and expectation.
Question?
So what are you believing for that weekend? We can totally turn the trajectory of those services with our expectation.
That service can go to a whole new level because of our expectations. So let us begin to expect great things that weekend, not just here at Living World, but at every church all over the world.
And the final prayer point: Divine appointments and follow-through connections.
Let’s pray that God personally would orchestrate who receives an invitation. He personally will orchestrate it in the name of Jesus. Let’s intercede for deep connections.
Prayed…
Deep connections between guests and members and that every guest finds a next step, finds a live group, finds something that they can connect with in the name of Jesus.
Divine appointments right now. I pray for divine appointments.
Let us believe God like never before. You and I know that people are hurting out there. They need Jesus. They need the Good News. Hallelujah. And we have it.
And this Easter, let us be part of the people that will fill the house with the people of God.
