Good morning, everyone. Happy Monday. It’s the 21st of July, 2025. Welcome!

Let me remind you that this Wednesday, 7 p.m. Central Standard Time here at Living Word, (and, of course, we’ll be streaming it online) we’ll be hosting a prayer and worship night. I’ll be leading it this Wednesday. So it’ll probably feel a little bit like morning prayer, I would imagine. I will resist the temptation to full-on teach because I want to get into some prayer. And we want to worship as well. So that’ll be this Wednesday night. Join us if you can.
Prayer Street Revival in 1857…
Let me just read something here. Not that we are looking back to the past or we focused on the past necessarily, but I think inspiration and encouragement can be drawn from what God has done in the past. And I’ve always been interested and loved hearing about the Prayer Street Revival from 1857 in New York City. And so I came across like short synopsis of what was going on in 1857. This little article reads…

“In the 1857 prayer revival began quietly in a small upper room near Wall Street where Jeremiah Lanphier, a businessman, turned missionary, invited others to join him for a simple noon prayer meeting. On the first day, only six men came, but within weeks, the room overflowed as clerks, bankers, and merchants began slipping away from their desks to seek God in the middle of the financial district.
TThe meetings were marked by humility, scripture, brief prayers and deep hunger for the presence of God. As word spread, churches across New York opened their doors and daily noonday prayer became a citywide movement.
“By early 1858, over 10,000 people were gathering daily for prayer in New York City. And more than 1 million were convicted across the United States in just a year. The revival touched cities, towns, and rural areas alike led not by famous preachers, but by every day believers moved to intercede.
“When the stock market crashed just weeks into the movement, Wall Street itself was brought to its knees. Not only by economic fear, but by the Spirit of God. Ships entering the harbor, factories, and even street corners became places of conviction and surrender. From a quiet room on Fulton Street, a spiritual awakening swept the nation.”
Commentary…
God did it before, He can do it again. And one thing I know about my Heavenly Father is He always likes to up Himself. He always likes to one up. He won’t do it the same way. He’ll do it a different way, and it’ll be even greater. And so we are praying and believing for a third, in fact, Great Awakening in our nation.
In fact, we just declare that today: America is awakening. If you’re in another nation, declare your nation to be awakening
The UK is awakening to the Gospel.
Ireland is awakening.
Australia is awakening.
Germany is awakening spiritually.
Sweden and Norway are awakening.
Zimbabwe is awakening.
All of Africa is awakening unto the Gospel.
We declare today in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah.
Prayed…
And so, Father, we start off this morning by just approaching you and just saying, “Lord, we’d love you. We thank you for the privilege to engage in kingdom business today.”
We thank you that your heart is so merciful and kind, and that you are desiring still to this day, even as your Word states, that none should perish in this generation, but that all would call upon the name of the Lord.
And so today, we unite across digital platforms, across this chapel this morning, and we agree and we pray, Heavenly Father may hearts and lives awaken to the truth.
May hearts and lives awaken to your love and to your free gift of salvation.
Yes, Lord, in America, but also throughout the nations, in Jesus’ name.
Hab. 1:5…
That reminds me of a scripture that I found in Habakkuk 1:5. It says…
“Look, the Lord says among the nations and watch. Be utterly astounded, for I will work a work in your days which you would not believe though it were told you.”
Prayed…
Father, we just set ourselves in agreement with this prophetic word given long ago, and we declare “Yes, Lord, do a work that will astound people, even us, Lord, in these days.”
We pray for an acceleration of your plan, in and through planet earth, in Jesus’ name.
We lift up Israel and we pray, may there be a continued increase and acceleration of visitations among your people in Israel, upon among that nation.
You’re calling us forward now to take a step.
You’re calling us forward now into a new land and into a new place.
And to occupy new spaces and new endowments and new assignments.
Yes, Lord, individually but also collectively, we declare that over the body of Christ.
I declare that over you this morning. There is an increase. There is an assignment you’re being fitted for.
It’s being placed on us now as the body of Christ, as individual sons and daughters.
Yes, we receive it now.
We want to go where you’re going now, Lord.
We want to say what you’re saying now.
We want to do what we see you doing now in Jesus’ name.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. The ground is breaking up in Jesus’ name.
Impossible situations. Oh, they’re not so impossible anymore.
For the ground is breaking up.
The fallowness and the hardness and the imperviousness of what has been, is being broken up in the mighty name of Jesus.
And now comes an emergence, an emerging, and a bringing forth, a birthing of the plan of God and the Father’s heart in that situation.
Let it now rise. Rise in Jesus’ name. Arise now from hopelessness. Yes. From darkness. Yes. From even chaos and seeming impossibility.
Lord, we declare there’s a rising now. Yes, in our nation. Yes, in our leaders and in our government.
But also in every arena of society. We pray today may no stone go unturned.
May no space and ground be untouched.
May your shaking… may your awakening… may your purposes, Lord, without a doubt, rise and emerge and prosper and grow and produce your intended outcome in every way.
It’s time to take now.
It’s time to take ground now.
A word came forth: He will fulfill His plan for your life…
I just sense that in my heart, the Lord’s reminding us. I’ve talked about it before, but it’s time to take ground now. And I sense the Spirit of God is saying, “Make no mistake about it: what you thought was impossible or would never happen whether it be in your life or on a national or global scale as you’ve seen in your heart, make no mistake about it, the Lord will have His day and the plan of God will prosper. And will not sway or vacillate. But will accelerate to fullness and to fruitfulness and to reality, in Jesus’ name.
I sense the Spirit of God say, “Make no mistake about it, what you prayed long and hard about is still being watched over by the Spirit of God and will be performed in fullness and will be accomplished. For His Word says He watches over His Word to perform it, to fulfill it, to bring it to fruition.
Doesn’t His Word say He’s the one who started a good work in you and He will continue it, but He will also bring it to completion and to fullness and to a thriving finish, in Jesus’ name.
Things are shaking…
I sense today the Spirit of God saying “Things are shaking.” Maybe you’ve only caught a glimpse of it. Maybe you’ve only sensed it a little bit or had the thought or impression of it. But make no mistake about it, there is a shaking. There is a shifting now. There is a recalibrating now. It’s happening. Yah, many ways under the surface, just beyond your natural discernment, but understand in the spirit, it’s shifting now. It’s turning now. Plans have been set in motion now. Angels are very active now. Oh, yes, yes, yes.
Take hold now and refuse to be denied…
So take hold of a spirit of faith, the Lord would say, refuse to be denied. Refuse to remain beaten down. Oh, you may have fallen, but you know what My Word says, the Spirit of God would say, the righteous get up another time, and then another time. They arise, not with a downtrodden look on their countenance but rather a determination in their spirit and a spirit of faith arising in them to say, “I will go up at once and I will ascend unto the hill of God and I will await upon Him watching and praying. I will declare I am well able to take this mountain. Oh, I will declare, as for me and my household, we shall all serve the Lord. I will declare as for me, I am the healed of almighty God, for He is my great physician. And by and through His stripes I was made whole.
Give Him praise for the little bits of progress…
So I sense in my heart the Lord’s saying, things are shifting, things are moving. Give Him praise for the little bits of progress and the little inklings and premonitions of change. And then add to that through the leveraging of your will, declarations of faith and certainty in your voice as you say unto the mountain, as you declare to the impossibility, this can’t stay. This must go, for the Lord will have His way in my life, in my family, in my nation, in this world. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.
