Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Prayer leader DJ…

Good morning, everybody. Well, this is the day the Lord has made and let us rejoice and be glad in it.
David said, “I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart. I will enter his courts with praise.”
Let’s enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts and enter His courts with praise. Hallelujah.

Let’s get glad this morning, this Friday. Glad. Not sad, but glad.
I was glad when they said, let us go to the house of the Lord. Hallelujah.
You know it’s good to ask somebody, “Let’s go to the house of the Lord.” And they’re going to say, “I was glad when they asked, let us go to the house.”

DJ’s personal testimony…

I remember Eric, 35 years ago, if he didn’t ask me to go to church with him, I wouldn’t be able to say that: “I was glad when they asked, let us go to the house of the Lord.”
You know what happened in the house of the Lord? It cannot happen in the White House or that house or the other house. Oh man. In the house of the Lord.
King David said, “One day in His court is better than 10,000 somewhere else.” Because he knew the secret to be in the house of the Lord.

I remember how miserable my life was back in 91. And this guy, Eric, was a Christian. He knew the Lord Jesus Christ. And he had joy. He had song. The only thing I didn’t like was he had a ponytail with a pink ribbon. He was tall, tan, a little beard, and always listening to loud music, which I didn’t understand. What is he listening to? It was all godly Christian music. But he was always listening, always happy walking around. And he saw me and my miserable life.

He goes to me, “DJ, you need to go to my church. I’ll take you to church.”
I said, “What is church and why?”
He said, “My pastor will pray for you.”
And now I have another question. “Who is pastor, and what is the prayer?”
He goes, “Well, the way things are going, it keeps getting worse and worse.”
And the following weekend, he asked me again. “I’ll take you to church. Come with me.” Or “My pastor will come and pray and if you wanted him to come to your house, he’ll pray.”
I said, “No, we don’t go to church. We don’t know church.”

Anyway, he wouldn’t give up. Then he asked me again. Three or four Sundays later, he said, “I’ll take you to church.”
Finally, I said, “Come and pick me up.”
So he picked me up to go to church. It was in Arizona, 120 degree hot. It’s only 80 here. Oh, it was so hot in Arizona. Anyway, so he took me to church. I sat in the back. He started playing drums. I’m sitting there not knowing what could happen. What is church?

So I sat there in the back and next thing you know, he’s playing the drums. I’m sitting alone and I’m more miserable than before because I’m sitting alone in church, which I’ve never been to. And suddenly they start worshiping, praising. And the next thing you know, when they pray and sing, I started feeling peace and rest. Hallelujah!

Change my heart. Oh Lord, make me ever new.  There was a song to say, Change my heart. Oh Lord, may I be like You. ♫

That was the first song I heard in the church. And then he took me back and pastor preached about the Christ and sins. And your life will be changed if you give your heart to Christ. I went home and I felt different. I knew something happened that morning, but I didn’t know what happened. He touched me. And the peace of God, it passes all understanding came inside of me and I say, “I was glad when they ask, let us go to the house or the Lord.”

It’s something that happens in the house of the Lord that cannot happen anywhere else. That’s why he said, Let’s be glad this morning.

Prayer leader Cindy prayed…

Let our heads be lifted up, lifted up far above all our enemies. Our head is Jesus.
Jesus be lifted up. He will draw all men to Himself.
We thank you, Father for Jesus… the king of glory.
Lift up your heads all ye gates that the king of glory might come in.
Who is the king of glory? The Lord strong and mighty.
And His train fills the temple.
We thank you, Father, for the glorious wake of God moving in and through His people.
And the land and the ripples of the effect of God showing out through us.
Lord, we thank you for your divine direction.
Thank you, Lord, that you are speaking always to us.
And once more, we submit ourselves to you.
We give our ears to you. We incline our ears to hear.
The voice of the enemy, we don’t hear.
Because you’re coming in so clear… clear channel. The God channel.
Because we’ve been born anew. We’ve been created in the image and likeness of our God.
We put on our Lord Jesus Christ and our flesh is sanctified by the Spirit and the Word.
And every Word of God is yes and amen.
And our answer to His prompting is always, “Yes, Lord, yes and amen.”
When you’re speaking to us in the morning, when you’re speaking to us all throughout the day, when you’re speaking to our spirits in the night season, our answer is “Yes, Lord.”
Our Spirit is always awake and active, energizing to the sound of your of your end time word to us.
The rhema of our spirit, Lord, speaking to our spirit.
It’s like a tuning fork.
I’m not a musical person, but I know that the tuning forks vibrate at a certain frequency. And when His Word is vibrating through our hearts, it tunes our hearts.
The instrument that He has chosen to play His song through us.
On an instrument of 10 strings.
Our hearts are like harps, and we worship Him and Him alone.
We are set apart, sanctified for the Father’s use.
Fashioned for Him and together we are His orchestra and only He could do what He does.
So have your will and your way through us today.
We hear your voice.

When DJ was talking about how the Lord reminded him of the things that he said, because the Holy Spirit is given unto us to help us and to remind us. Remember what you said… You are to do what you say.

And I said, thank you, Lord, for that ministry of reminding me.
And I said I would be like a chicken with my head cut off running around if you did not remind me.
Hallelujah. Thank you, Father.
For your keeping power, for your Word, for the desires that you’ve placed in us, Lord.
For the incorruptible seed.
And we were praying yesterday about the rain of your spirit, that the latter and the former rain are coming together and the rain is here right now and those seeds, all they need is water to sprout.
There’s so much power in that seed. That the washing of the water of the Word, washing over us right now.
The righteous rains of your spirit, and when they fall from heaven, righteousness springs up from the earth.
The secret place, the hiding place of your splendid power.
The power that you’ve invested in our hands to go, lay hands on the sick, just to hug somebody, to show love in all the creative ways that you have invested in us.
The gifts… Let the gifts be fully in operation, as you please.
Because they come as you please. But, Father, we earnestly desire that you would work them out through us as you please.
