We have five fingers on our hands. We’re doing things with our hands. And you’re praying over my children and other people’s children. And just recently the Lord was showing me that He’s sustaining our children and that He made me to know that means that He’s making sure our children are doing things with their hands. That God appointed them to do with their hands.
Being still and knowing He is God…
And then He took me back to two years ago, in 2023, when we had 24-hour prayer, and I believe it was going for almost a month. We had prayer here in the chapel. We had prayer over in the sanctuary. But every hour it was streamed live. Three o’clock in the morning, you could tune in. We were praying. And I led some of those prayers, but also was just sitting like you out there, just receiving. And there was a lot of soaking. There was a lot of just worshiping God and being still and knowing that He is God. That we might hear what He thinks about, what it’s time for. Because it’s time for something right now.
I would stretch out my hands toward Him…
And I found myself stretching out my hands, and I just would sit there for hours with my hands stretched out. And days went by and I’m asking the Lord, “What am I receiving, Lord? What am I receiving?”
I think it was in Luke where Jesus was in the synagogue and the Pharisees or the religious leaders were trying to trap Him. And there was a man with a shriveled arm and they said, “Is it lawful for you to heal on the Sabbath?” And He told the man with the shriveled hand to stretch out his hand. And he stretched out his hand. And it said that his hand became just like the other one. It was healed and whole.
And he was in the synagogue. And the religious leaders were not willing that he would be healed. Jesus said, “Who have you having a sheep that falls into a pit, wouldn’t on the Sabbath take that sheep out of the pit. You would do that.”
We are God’s sheep and our hands ought not to be atrophied and shriveled, but active in doing the things that God is appointed for us to do. Be healed. It is the will of God that your hands would be healed and that your five fingers would be laying hold and laying hands on and the power of God would be flowing out. And the things that God has appointed for today would be accomplished through our hands… actively, physically, metaphorically. We are doing the works of God.
He holds us in the palm of His hand…
And so I’m thinking about all the hand scriptures. The Bible says that we are in the palm of His hand, and no man can snatch us out of the palm of His hand. And whatever’s in His hand prospers. So we are in the secret place of the Most High. He said the shadow is on our right hand to do those things that He is wanting us to accomplish as preordained for us to accomplish… anointed us for us to do.
The shadow… and the Devil has a counterfeit shadow. The shadow of death. But we are in the shadow of the almighty God, and nothing can come against us in the way of pestilence, arrows, anything that is fashioned against us, anything that would try to keep us from doing the works of God, which is a major point of the Devil, is to keep us from doing what God has already appointed for us to do and given us victory ahead of time to do. So we will do no less…

As we stretch out our hands to do good
Whatever it is, we’re going to do it. And we’re not shrinking back because our way has been made perfect in the little things and the big things in the mind of what we think, but God is in the little things.
The power that’s released with an atomic bomb is just from a tiny, tiny little atom. And God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound that which is wise, according to the natural order and the wisdom from below.
But God is wanting to put on display some kind of show through those that know their God, through those who are humble and know the requirements and walk before Him in the reverence and awe of knowing that He’s God after all. And He’s chosen us to display His glory.
So we walk before Him as a barefooted priest because wherever we walk, it’s holy ground. And He’s showing us and He’s revealing to us the deep and intimate secrets of His covenant. I will never leave you or forsake you. And lo I’m with you always to the end of the age, whether you see me or not.
Six weeks Jesus walked this earth between His resurrection and ascension. And He was going in and out, in and out. And they’re like, “Oh, there’s Jesus. Oh, there He goes.” But He was with them always. So we lead not to our own understanding, but we understand that there is more going on than what meets the eye. And He has a plan and His plan and purpose prevails. He’s the author and the finisher, and we go by our hearts and the desire that He’s placed in there that He’s given.

Our call and election, we keep moving, that we would make it sure and such a great entrance is given unto us into the kingdom of God… righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit is the wind in our sail.
Confounding the wisdom of the earth
Must bow to our joyfully going forward in whatever He is showing us
The hand of the Lord is upon us to make us great
For the kingdom of God is like a mustard seed
Small, small, small. But when it is grown up, it is greater and it spreads out and provides shelter and a place of habitation for the birds.
Yes, we are working with the angels. The angels are working with us.
We’re giving them jobs because the kingdom of God is not just in us but coming out of us.
The righteous reign and rule here on earth as it is in heaven. So be it.
Because we believe, so we speak, so we do, so we grow up and become greater.
There’s no room for what was. The things that grow in the shade of the Devil, in of the shadow of death.
The hand of the Lord is upon us.
The Spirit of God is upon us because He’s anointed us to preach good news.
The delivery of those that are in captivity to fear the bondage, to fear the fear of death
Because we walk in love, the love of God.
We tread on evil. It is just a mere consequence.
Good and gracious. Awesome is our God. Mighty in power.
He’s working as we rest in Him, as we know who we are in this world.
