Prayer Summary for August 24

Scripture Focus…

“After this, the Moabites, the Ammonites, and with them the Meunites came against Jehoshaphat to battle. (2) It was told Jehoshaphat, A great multitude has come against you from beyond the [Dead] Sea, from Edom; and behold they are in Hazazon-tamar, which is En-gedi. (3) Then Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself [determinedly, as his vital need] to seek the Lord; he proclaimed a fast in all Judah. (4) And Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord [yearning for Him with all their desire]. (5) And Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem in the house of the Lord before the new court (6) And said, O Lord, God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? In Your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand You. (7 )Did not You, O our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham Your friend? (8) They dwelt in it and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your Name, saying, (9) If evil comes upon us, the sword of judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You—for Your Name [and the symbol of Your presence] is in this house—and cry to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save. (10) And now behold, the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, whom You would not let Israel invade when they came from the land of Egypt, and whom they turned from and did not destroy— (11) Behold, they reward us by coming to drive us out of Your possession which You have given us to inherit. (12) O our God, will You not exercise judgment upon them? For we have no might to stand against this great company that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You. (15) He said, Hearken, all Judah, you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat. The Lord says this to you: Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (21) When he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers to sing to the Lord and praise Him in their holy [priestly] garments as they went out before the army, saying, Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! (22) And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, and they were [self-] slaughtered…”

Prayed…

Father, we need You more than ever before
You are the King of Kings and the Lord of all Lords
We will keep our eyes fixed and focused on You
Thank You for the precious blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross for us
Church, wake up and be alert in these last days!
Father, Your mercies are new every morning!
We lift up and magnify Your precious holy name—Jesus
Thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding
Watching, believing, and receiving those things You have called us to do
Calling those things forth in the ways they should go
That is the dynamite power right there!
Continually contending all the way through to the end, Father
We will continue to watch and be observant
No, we will not turn and go in the wrong way, but we will follow the plan You have set before us
Staying strong and taking authority all along the way
Calling those things up this day
No longer delayed, but coming now into Your way
Greater operations of and by Your Spirit, dear God
Your Spirit is leading and guiding us in these last days
Our eyes and ears will be opened up to the things of the Spirit and we will listen and obey!
You, Father are the way, the truth, and the life!
Your way is the only way, and we will continually stay with it
Pleading the blood of Jesus over the ways we are walking in today!
Momentum in Jesus’ name!
We will continually be filled with energy from heaven
All believers will stand up and take their places of authority in You, Father
Give us orders from heaven above!
Calling those things forth and taking a hold of those things You have called us to
Humbling ourselves before You, today Lord
We are members of Your army
The blood, the blood, the blood!
Lifting up every branch of the military
Pleading the blood of Jesus over each and every one of them, Father
Give them wisdom and guidance on the battles they are to fight
We will continually be stopping some things before they even start!
Lead and direct them by Your Spirit, Father
Calling for divine assistance of and by Your Spirit
Lifting up those in positions of authority today, Lord
Not stumbling on the way, but there is safety there, Father!
Covering their eyes and ears with the blood of Jesus
Accompany and preserve them, Lord
Obedience of and by Your Spirit!
Casting down every evil plot of the enemy this day!
Calling for supernatural assistance all along the way
One nation under God!
There is an arising and an awakening in these last days!
You have called them and anointed them for such a time as this
Activity and arrangements to be made of and by Your Spirit, dear God
Staying, watching and declaring for these things to come forth
Father, we thank You for Your Word
There is power in the name of Jesus
Your precious Holy Spirit is working in and through us today!
Declaring that everything we set our hands to will prosper!
Giving You all the glory, honor, and praise, Father
