Ms. Annie led us singing I Need You More

Pastor Ray…

It’s our prayer, Lord. We need You. We open up our hearts, yield ourselves, expect more, believe more, more of You in our lives, hungry, thirsty for more. Hallelujah.

Yesterday, I read from Matthew 5:6  Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!”

I found something from John G. Lake and I want to read it to you. This book is about the authority that we have within us. There is one place where he talks about how blessed are those that hunger for Him. So, he describes some very interesting things in his own life.

The following is an excerpt was taken from Heavenly Authority by John G. Lake:

God’s purposes come to pass when your heart and mind get the real God-cry, and the real God-prayer comes into our spirit, and the real God-yearning gets hold of our nature. Something is going to happen then.

No difference what it may be your soul is coveting or desiring, if it becomes in your life the supreme cry, not the secondary matter, or the third, or the fourth, or fifth or tenth, but the FIRST thing, the supreme desire of your soul, the paramount issue, all the powers and energies of your spirit, of your soul, of your body are reaching out and crying to God for the answer, it is going to come, it is going to come, it is going to come!

I lived in a family where for thirty-two years they never were without an invalid in the home. Before I was twenty-four years of age, we had buried four brothers and four sisters, and four other members of the family were dying, hopeless, helpless invalids. I set up my own home, married a beautiful woman. Our first son was born. It was only a short time until I saw that same devilish train of sickness that had followed father’s family had come into mine. My wife became an invalid, my son was a sickly child. Out of it all one thing developed in my nature, a cry for deliverance. I did not know anything about the subject of healing, notwithstanding I was a Methodist evangelist. But my heart was crying for deliverance; my soul had come to the place where I had vomited up dependence on man. My father had spent a fortune on the family to no avail, as if there was no stoppage to the train of hell. And let me tell you, there is no human stoppage because the thing is settled deep in the nature of man, too deep for any material remedy to get at it. It takes the Almighty God and the Holy Spirit and the Lord Jesus Christ to get down into the depth of man’s nature and find the real difficulty that is there and destroy it.

My brother, I want to tell you, if you are a sinner tonight and away from God, and your heart is longing, and your spirit asking, and your soul crying for God’s deliverance, He will be on hand to deliver. You will not have to cry very long until you see that the mountains are being moved, and the angel of deliverance will be there.

I finally got to that place where my supreme cry was for deliverance. Tears were shed for deliverance for three years before the healing of God came to us. I could hear the cries and groans and sobs, and feel the wretchedness of our family’s soul. My heart cried, my soul sobbed, my spirit wept tears. I wanted help. I did not know enough to call directly on God for it. Isn’t it a strange thing that men do not have sense enough to have faith in God for all their needs, do not know enough to call directly on God for physical difficulties as well as for spiritual ones? But I did not.

But bless God, one thing matured in my heart, a real hunger. And the hunger of a man’s soul must be satisfied, it must be satisfied. It is a law of God; that law of God is in the depth of the spirit. God will answer the heart that cries; God will answer the soul that asks. Christ Jesus comes to us with divine assurance and invites us when we are hungry to pray, to believe; to take from the Lord that which our soul covets and our heart asks for.

So one day the Lord of heaven came our way, and in a little while the cloud of darkness, that midnight of hell, that curse of death was lifted, and the light of God shone into our life and into our home, just the same as it existed in other men’s lives and other men’s homes. We learned the truth of Jesus and was able to apply the divine power of God. We were healed of the Lord.

Pastor Ray…

Whatever that Devil deal was, they were all delivered from it. And it was the hunger in the heart of this man. If you have ever read anything about John G. Lake, that was one of the biggest parts of his ministry, healing the sick wherever he went.

What comes to my heart right now, as we continually contend for the wholeness and the wellness for Landen, is I’m so hungry for that boy. I am hungry for more of God but I’m hungry to see that little boy completely and totally whole, healthy, prosperous in every way. And it should be that way for whatever else is coming against us and getting in the way: roadblocks, division, separation, symptoms, sickness – whatever it is. That we would get to this place that John G. Lake got to and became desperate. Thank You, Lord.

Hungry to see, to see an end to some things, for dramatic change and eyes to see it, ears to hear it. Hungry and thirsty, unable to live without it, desperate. It’s change. It’s a way of rearranging things. It’s a turn, a turning, a continual turning and a continual changing.

So we come up on some things this morning maybe that have gotten in the way. We use the authority that God Almighty by the power of Holy Spirit put within you and put within me and we draw a line of the blood of Jesus and set our face like a flint and declare “Get out of here!”

Whatever that blockage was, whatever those hindrances were. Lies, inaccuracies – leave! Be stopped in Jesus’ name. We take our place and that’s a place up above, not down beneath. And that’s a place of the head and not the tail.

Steady, we’ll stay steady. We’ll stay contending. We’ll stay yearning to be able to step free, to be able to step beyond, to be able to continually contend and call those things that are not as though they were, see it with the eyes of our faith, eyes of our belief.  Thank You, Father.

Breakthrough, breakthrough, breakthrough! Together this morning we declare breakthroughs for Living Word Christian Center. Breakthroughs, moving things out of the way, breaking through new doors of opportunity. Yes, yes, thank You, we are moved, we’re moved, we’re hungry for greater. We are hungry for change, hungry for increase of every kind.

Lack, get out. Leave in Jesus’ name. Prosperity, we declare it over this church in every way.

We pray over our pastors, hold them up, lift them. Go with me praying in tongues over our pastors, call them up. (tongues) Every limit, get out of there. Get out of the way in Jesus’ name. Away, we clear out a pathway, clear it out in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood, apply the blood over them, their families. Some things that have not yet come to pass, we declare it’s time! It’s time! It’s time in Jesus’ name for breakthroughs, breaking through. We call, declare, speak the new.

We declare momentum in Jesus’ name. We will continually speak right words, God’s words, faith-filled words over our pastors, over their families, over this church, over every member of this church, every member of the staff, all of the school teachers, all of those students. And this morning, we are calling for increase. Increase, reversal of any kind of decrease – we call for increase! In some ways an absolute paradigm shift, a turn. We declare it, command it, believe it!

We cover every facet, all of the elements that need to be covered in Jesus’ name. We call for a great alignment which will bring about an ever increasing momentum.

New territory, new areas, new realms of increase, new money, new money, new finances, new resources in Jesus’ name, today, today. We thank You for aligning these things up. A show, a great show in Jesus’ name. Wholeness, healing, miracles, supernatural happenings. Thank You for Your presence Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your beautiful presence and ministry in this church in Jesus’ name.

Positions in Jesus’ name, yes, thank You. An even greater bending in this church in a spirit of prayer that will move forth in an even greater way. We lift up every member, every man and woman, child that has come to the end of their rope, end of the line so to speak. We declare the blood of Jesus over each and every one of them. It must come to pass. Your Word is true, Lord. You know the names, Father. A great showing, a great show, testimonies. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

Every attempt of the enemy, broken off, cut off. Every hindrance removed. All lack get out in Jesus’ name. Leave, go, be removed by the blood of the Lamb and the name that is above every other name – Jesus, Jesus.

Influence, influence, influence, great influence, clear way, clear steps, staying steady.

Influence, influence, we lift that up, new territories, greater influence, doors, doors, doors of greater influence to our cities, more and more influence.

Increase, declarations, commands, courage, boldness, thank You, Father, inroads, inroads into new territories, expansion, new, new assignments in Jesus’ name. We hold up new strength, great strength, boldness.

We trust You, Lord. We trust Your will, Your Word. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

We speak to the north and we call back those that have exited, those that have left this ministry maybe for the wrong reasons, something happened, whatever, we call them back. We speak all the way north, call them back in in Jesus’ name. Restoration, restoration in every direction, north, east, south, and west and declare this morning “restoration, wholeness, prosperity. We welcome you back into your position, your place in these times, in these days.”

A showing, a revealing, a greater understanding, wisdom influenced by the Spirit of God. Oh, we open up the doors. We open up the avenues. We open up the ways. Oh, thank You, Father for new connections, new relationships, new roads, new streams, new steps! Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord.

Pastor Ray shared…

I just keep seeing some kind of a picture or a painting being framed. A painting or a pictures of God’s perfect will and perfect ways, nothing broken, nothing lost but everything right. Words can’t describe it but by the power of the Spirit there are things being painted this morning in the hearts of the believers here to continually contend for the furtherance today for steps we must take, for the plans we must walk out to completely fill in the fullness of this original painting of prosperity. Thank You for it Lord, for all of the colors.

I can see that Lord, I can see it. People, many, many, many people whole, healthy, made whole, made healthy by Your presence. I can see it. No clouds but victory. No darkness but light. Bright light! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

Thank You for it Lord. Thank You, Father. It’s the way, the right way, it’s God’s right way. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father. Every piece, every detail, everything necessary, all of the points, number one, number two, all the way down the line, perfect alignment, every element lined up.

Holy Spirit, thank You for the lifting, for that spirit of seeing and spirit of knowing operating in and through us. Oh, thank You Lord. Thank You, Father.

All these things, we are hungry. We are thirsty. We’re yearning. We’re calling. We believe it.

Ms. Annie led us singing You Are Worthy of It All

Pastor Ray…

Not every one hour that we spend in prayer takes care of everything. So, it is a continual by faith step or steps that we take. We keep moving. I felt that very strong this morning.

Sometimes we plow. There is a lot of different kinds of prayer and sometimes in prayer, I believe most times, we see things or sense things that we didn’t think about because they are coming from heaven out of our spirit.

I felt faithfulness… And I am not trying to get you to do anything. I appreciate that you do join us here. I just want to encourage all of us that we’re taking steps, we’re moving, and we are going to keep moving and keep believing because we know the Word is true. We keep believing for the things we know, that naturally we’ll see them change. But then there are all the things we don’t know, spirit things that we’ve not seen yet. But by being faithful and keeping on we’ll see all these things come to pass that need to come to pass, that are the plan and purpose of God. Amen.

Thank you very much for coming.  I appreciate it.  We made some progress today.
