Morning Prayer Summary for Tuesday, January 21, 2020

Pastor Ray…

I went back to see a couple things that happened in the beginning of Vicki Jamison Peterson’s ministry. She became seriously sick and they thought she was going to die. This is before she actually moved into the ministry that God had called her to. She was in the hospital and people are praying for her but she was so out of it and so sick that she just couldn’t pray herself. She said she couldn’t talk to God. But He didn’t get on her case. She just felt His love. She is there day after day after day and finally one morning she woke up at 5:30 in the morning and this is what she heard clearly from the Holy Spirit.

“Will you go where I want you to go? Will you do what I want you to do? Will you be what I want you to be?” I listened and then I said “Yes, Lord, yes.” So from that moment on I began to recover. God and I knew that I had settled some divine business and the release I felt allowed me to receive absolute complete healing.

It wasn’t that He was holding it away from her. She just didn’t have the faith for it. She knew Him. The Lord visited her I think when she was three years old and that left an absolute lasting impression on her.

I knew He didn’t make me sick but I wasn’t walking in faith. I wasn’t walking in the direction that God was leading. I wasn’t answering His call for my life.

Pastor Ray…

Do you ever think He asks that for us, too? Yes.
“Will you go where I want you to go?” But the big one for me is, “Will you be what I want you to be?”

Well, three months went by and she is getting better and better and she is out of the hospital. A friend invited her to speak at a women’s meeting at a hotel. She is totally better and walking in health so she agreed to do it.

There were 500 women that showed up. Even before she got there she was on fire. She knew it was going to be the best meeting and she had never done a meeting like that. She got up and introduced herself. And after a little while, she said, “Don’t blame God for what happened to me.” That was her message. After she said that she saw a billowy cloud drop through the ceiling of the room.

I looked up to the left. There was that cloud and it was inside the hotel. So, I said it again, “Don’t blame God for what happened to me.” And the cloud dropped even lower. I saw it. It was as real to me as the paper and the ink that you are holding in your hand. And the presence of the Lord was so real and vivid that every person in the room was aware of it. I didn’t have to say anything else. There was no need to go on. I simply asked everyone in the room first of all, “Would you like to be saved?” Second of all, “Would you like to receive the Holy Spirit?” And third, “Would you like to be healed?”

Almost every woman in the place got up, literally jumped up. They didn’t walk to the front. They ran to the front.

Pastor Ray…

They were in expectation and there was something about the way she said that. It was a gift that the Holy Spirit would work through her.

Her mother was with her and I think it was her sister too. The first women that came up were all jammed in there. She didn’t have to lay hands on any of them. She just looked at them and down they would go. It got so intense that she couldn’t stand up and she fell over.

Her mom and her sister picked her up. Wherever they pointed her, the people would go down. The Holy Spirit was moving all over the room. There were women laid out everywhere. All of a sudden the doors opened and some of the hotel staff, both men and women, came through and immediately, bam! – they went down. The presence of God was so strong.

They were going to take her to the room. When they put her in the elevator, whoever was in the elevator fell out also. She thought “This is probably the last meeting I will ever get to do. I am dangerous. Wherever I go or look, Holy Spirit will fall and the people will just be laid out.”

We are calling for more all of the time. We want more of the manifested presence of the Holy Spirit. We need the presence so much because we’re changed so much in that presence. This morning let’s just believe God that He wants to do it.

I read in an article by Daniel Kolenda who took over for Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. He said people ask, “How do you keep the fire burning?” The answer “I don’t keep the fire burning – the fire keeps me burning.”

It’s up to us to expect and do the things we know we know to do, get to do and to begin to burn, begin to be stirred up, begin to see things happening.I want to not have to look back always to what He did and what happened in other people’s lives. I want to see it now, Lord.

We want it now, we’re hungry, we welcome Your presence, Holy Spirit, here in this sanctuary. Thank You. I know You are moving. I know lives are being changed. I know it’s Your presence, Lord. We know that.

But when we say we know there is more, do we really know that there is more? Do we really stir ourselves up praying in the Holy Ghost, lifting up our voices. I know it’s not by works. We know that, Lord. It’s just by the move of Your precious Holy Spirit. We want… need another Pentecost. We need that.

Ms. Annie led us singing Draw Me, Lord

Ms. Jeani…

On the way over here, I texted Pastor Ray to tell him I would be late. And I just heard the Holy Spirit with massive assurance say “Even when we’ve started running late, even times when we’ve missed it, and maybe we didn’t rise up quick enough, fast enough, or we didn’t get on board, and run after Him late, He’s the redeemer of time.” He’s the Eternal One. His Word redeems time. In a moment we’re caught up, we’re exactly where He wants us to be.

And so for anyone right now, when sickness has stolen from you, anything that’s stolen from you, right now there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ. And the Eternal One redeems time, right now.

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah. I like that. He’s making a way for us no matter what, no matter where we’ve missed it. He’s our enabler. He is our way maker. He’s already made it right. It is right! So, how can it not work out right? Hallelujah.

Ms. Annie led us singing You Made a Way for Me

Pastor Ray…

This is what I saw while Ms. Annie was singing. The blood that was shed for each one of us made the way. But for us in these days, it’s almost was like the blood kind of morphed into different keys and each one of us had an individual key for us to follow, doors to go through, steps to take, plans to make, positions to stand tall in, and follow just like the Word has told us to do, be led by the Spirit, and the Spirit of God will show us all truth, the right way to go, the right plan to walk out.

It’s like some were gold, some were silver, some were a mix of metals but they fit specific individual doors. But those doors all worked together as we are members of the same body. Hallelujah.

Father, today, just like we can read about years and years ago where You moved on this earth by Your Spirit – where signs begin to follow, where miracles begin to break out like never before, where peoples’ bodies where healed instantaneously, where finances came in even in a greater degree than ever before – Your plans, Your purposes working through us for others.

So, Lord, we keep that perspective as we lift You up and as we magnify You and who You are, working in us and working through us, showing us the way, showing and revealing, uncovering, restoring, and making a way.

We lift these things up: a greater outpouring, the former rain, the latter rain, signs, wonders, miraculous events. So we’re entering into them and we can call others to enter in too, leading them, revealing it to them.

Words, steps, plans, ideas, oh Lord, thank You for openings, for the direction by Your Spirit, the leading by and through Your precious Holy Spirit!

Holy Spirit, we so welcome You in our lives. We so much want more. We yield more. We trust You more. We’ll rely on You more.

If it needs to be rearranged, it will be rearranged. If it needs to be changed, it shall be changed. And some things will take a shift in paradigm and it will be like no other day, no other thing we have seen before. But we trust You, Lord. We rely upon You, Lord. We lift You, magnify who You are in us and working through us today.

Ms. Annie led us singing Holy Spirit, You Are Welcome in This Place

Pastor Ray…

Heavenly Father, we welcome You, Your presence, the power of Your Holy Spirit all across this country. We lift up and pray over all of the leaders, in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood, cover them with the blood, pray for wisdom and understanding, right decisions to be made that will line up, continually move all of us in this nation more in Your right ways.

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ms. Annie led us singing Oh, The Blood, it is our Victory

Pastor Ray…

Father, we give You free reign by Your Spirit, if we are not really truly awake in every area, to wake us up. We give You free reign, if we’ve been sleeping in some areas or some ways, wake us up. What needs to be done, we pray that it will be done.

An wakening, we’ll look at that word a little differently this morning. Wherever there might be a touch of sleepiness, wake us up Lord! We give You free reign so we’ll burn bright for You and do what You want us to do, bring others into the Light and right out of the darkness. We thank You for it. You get all of the glory, all of the praise for all of the wonderful things that will happen in these days that are to come, in Jesus’ name everyone said, Amen. Thank You for coming this morning.
