Mary led group in worship…

Pastor Ray…

In 1995–96, I remember He was moving in a new way back then and everything changed. Pastor Mac and Lynne left for a vacation. I remembering delivering something to their house when they came back. Pastor Mac said, “We left for two weeks. We came back to a different church.” People were laying hands on people everywhere. He had a list of things that he saw happening in the church that were not happening before they left. During that time, the Holy Spirit was moving. Things were changing. It’s amazing how little we need to see or hear or know to get ourselves into a place of greater expectation. The more we expect it or the more we get connected with one another, you can’t stop it. You know it’s not just for a few people to prophesy. And prayer can be a prophecy. Really, it’s calling things that are not as though they were. We have more people that are praying. Pastor Lynne put a message on Facebook concerning getting back to Jesus, back to prayer. Pastor Mac said we shouldn’t be bore sighted on praying about one certain thing. His word to us as a staff was “I want you to get back, get with Him and let Him do what He wants to do and say what He wants to say.”

I want to share a couple things. Here is a word from the Lord.

My ways are not the ways of man, the same each day, thought through and pre-planned. But just as grace is new each day, I’ll lead you in the way to pray. Don’t be shocked at what I’ll do, it just may be all new to you. Don’t get used to what you know. There’s too much comfort there to flow. Be free from you and go with Me where mountains are moved spiritually. Command and send and prophesy—let your word rise and fill the sky. Bind and loose as I have said, but by My Spirit, you must be led. There will be times when you will know the outcome of the prayers you sow in this life. Some prayers you’ll not know the miracles they have wrought. Again, you must have faith in Me. You can help bring the victory!

Pastor Ray continued…

I love that. It doesn’t matter how much we know. Sometimes that’s a problem. We think we know too much. Pastor Mac talked to us about that, how sometimes we know we have no clue and sometimes we think we have a clue. But we never, ever get away from the leading of the Spirit. Here’s another little “deal” about prayer from brother Hagin. This is part of a prophecy that he gave years ago concerning the church.

The word of the Lord came unto me saying,

Some would say, “Our church is a singing church.”
Others would say, “Our church is a Word church.”
Some have said, “Our church is a power church.”
But yea, saith the Lord, “I’m seeking for a praying church.”
I’m seeking for those that will wait upon Me.
For you can never sing like you ought to sing until you’ve waited upon Me, saith the Lord of hosts.
For you can never praise like you should praise.
for you can never really walk in faith to the extent that you should walk in faith, until you’ve waited… until prayer is as much a part of your being as breathing is of your physical man.
You can never really enjoy the fullness of the Word, and the power will never be in full manifestation, until you become known as a praying church.

Pastor Ray continued…

Are we a praying church? Well, what should we be doing if we’re a praying church? Praying! One of the best ways we can pray is out of our spirit, praying in other tongues so we not so connected to what we think we should pray. We have multitudes of things in these days to pray about. Just turn on the news. We have things about Israel, things about the wall, things our President has to have wisdom and revelation to know what to do.

Just one other thing. I read this from a book by Pastor Bill Johnson about the presence of God. I like this concept. He said he begins his morning by laying down on his bed and think on the Lord. He begins to lift Him up, think on Him. He prepares his next day by going to sleep while thinking about Him, magnifying Him. I love that concept. A couple nights ago, in my dream, I stood up somewhere and began to prophesy. It was like I couldn’t shut up. In my dream. I’m wondering if that actually was a dream. Because I could see it so clearly. We are called to a higher level in Him. It can be in a dream, a vision, a spirit of seeing and knowing… Yesterday, we were praying about a Holy Spirit given paradigm shift. That means a turn. And suddenly, there’s a shift. We see things more His way.

While we were worshiping, the Lord said to me, “You have come into the kingdom for such a time as this.” That’s what I would say to all of us. You have come into the kingdom for such a time as this. All that we’ve been given by the Holy Spirit… we are rich, rich, rich, rich… but we need more. If you think you’re rich, there’s trouble there. We are rich and we are grateful. But we need more. I’m on a journey in this book, “In the Day of Thy Power” by Arthur Wallace. Some of it is a spanking but it’s good. If you want to turn our right. I’m going to read a couple things and it will help us where we are right now as the church, both individually and collectively. There are things that we begin acknowledging which brings about an expectation.

In 2nd Samuel 5:24 it says, “And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself.”

Did you get that? Who is going to do the stirring? You bestir yourself.

“…for then shall the Lord go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.” Soon after David had been established king over Israel, the Philistines came up and occupied the valley of Rephaim. David inquired of the Lord and was told to go up against them. A bold frontal assault carried the day and the Lord delivered them into his hands. Sometime after the Philistines repeated the maneuver. But David, without presuming on earlier guidance, relying on past resources inquired of the Lord again. This time he was told to take a detour, take up a position behind them by the Mulberry trees and wait till they heard the sound of the marching. This was to be the sign that God’s hosts was on the move and that the powers of heaven were being thrown into the conflict to secure overwhelming victory. These two battles helped to illustrate the difference between God’s method of normal evangelism on one hand and His method in remember on the other hand. In the first, it is man’s activity with divine aid that is prominent. And the second, it is God who goes into the battle and man has only to move in the train of His victory and gather the spoils. He says there was the sound of marching. This warning sign, this harbinger of revival was heard only by those in the battle. The right man in the right place at the right time. Just as there are recorded in scripture signs that are to warn the watchful of the imminence of Christ’s return, so there are also signs given to us by which we may discern that God is about to fulfill His promise to pour out His Spirit. Behold the former things are come to pass and new things do I declare. Before they spring forth I tell you of them. This sound of marching must be analyzed and described so that if it is now present our ears may attune to it. Or if it should come in the future, we may be quick to recognize it. Let us take heed that we do not look at the wrong factors for evidence of impending revival. General Booth of the salvation army writing to his eldest daughter when much discouraged during the early years of her work in Paris advised her to keep her eyes off the waves and fix them on the tide. To be occupied with the waves with the ebb and flow of the spiritual battle is to be alternately lifted up and cast down, elated and dejected. It is the unconquerable power of the tide that matters. The factors that reveal the quiet but irresistible trend of God’s purposes are a true index. Look, the tides are rising. Finney used to explain and he was seldom wrong. Are they rising today? Here are some of the factors that may help us to answer that question.

Erika interjected…

What we’re talking about is discerning, understanding the time, understanding the signs not using head knowledge. He goes on to say…

…if you looked in the natural before almost every revival, there was such lawlessness, there was such degradation going on. But in God’s view, that’s a good time to come. Lawlessness and deadness is a good time for the Spirit to come. One of the other signs is the second factor which may be widespread among God’s people, it may be confined to a few people who are being quietly prepared for what God is about to do. It’s characterized by a profound sense of dissatisfaction awakening in many hearts.

Erika interjected…

It’s not that you’re not grateful because we are a grateful people. But on the inside, the deep calls. There is more. I know there’s more. I’m not limited by my preconceptions, by my limited human evaluation of the bigness of God, of His plans. I’m just hungry for more. Brother Hagin said it this way. Only to be dissatisfied with the dissatisfaction that you have only to be satisfied. So you’re dissatisfied. There’s a hunger, a dissatisfaction. On the inside, we cry for more of God.

Prayed…

Father, You placed this call and cry in our eharts for more of You… that we would have more of You in our eyes, and ears and hearts… more of You in the body of Christ… more of You on display for the world to see and to know… we call for the more, Father… we acknowledge the stirring… We thank You that that’s what it’s all about. It’s You… we’re grateful for the many things that have been done… You have called us for such a time as this… we’re expectant… to look out and see the glory of God being poured out in Your body… Your hands and Your feet… every member and every part… we acknowledge the vital need of every part being holy and consecrated and dedicated unto You… a breaking forth of the light and glory of God… to dawn upon the hearts of Your people… to drop from the head to the heart… the peace of God garrisoning about hearts and minds… Jesus, be Jesus in us… we’re looking for You…
