Pastor Ray prayed and shared…
Lord, it is comforting to sing and lift up those words of peace in Your presence. We know there is fullness of glory and everything we need in Your presence. We love You, Lord, and need Your presence in our lives. We open up our hearts for You to manifest Yourself in us today. We desire You and want Your presence. We need Your presence. We love when You manifest Your presence for us. One touch from You changes everything. You are good and Your mercy endures forever. You’re new every day.
Today I had a picture of the world in my mind and it reminded me of something Sandy and I saw over the Christmas/New Year’s holiday. We were in Florida at Disney World in the Hollywood Studios section. During the day, we could tell things were decorated to be lit up but nothing was on because the sun was out. At about 6:30, all the lights were lit up and everything that could be lit up was lit up. It was bright. We were at the end of a main street. Behind us up high there was a world. In the day time, we saw it and noticed there were angels near it. The world started to turn and then these angels looked like they were flying. On top of that display, it said “peace on earth.” On one side there was a manger scene lit up. This is Disney. I was blessed. I got that picture again this morning.
This morning, I turned on the news and after listening for a while, it felt like the world was burning up. It’s like on fire, insane things happening on the earth. I know all our help comes from Him. By the words we speak and pray, we can have an effect on the earth. We “do” have an effect on the earth. Our prayers are answered.
I have this picture of “peace on earth, goodwill toward men,” in my mind. So I looked up a few scriptures about the peace of God. I’m not talking about the peace from the 60’s. The world cannot bring us peace. Only He can. I want to share some scriptures and then three quotes that I like. One from C.S. Lewis, one from Amy Carmichael, and one from Oswald Chambers.
Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called sons of God.” When I read that, I see us as peacemakers when we are in the spirit and praying what He wants us to pray.
Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and I’ll give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” We’re speaking to ourselves. Don’t be troubled or be afraid. We could say, “For he said, I’m with you.”
John 16:33, “I’m said these things to you that in me you may have peace. In the world, you’ll have tribulation, but take heart. I’ve overcome the world.”
John 20:19, “On the evening of that day the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and he stood among them and he said to them, Peace be with you.” Peace that passes all understanding.
Phil. 4:6–7, “Do not be anxious about anything but in everything and by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” No anxiety.
Rom. 14:17–19, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by man so then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual uplifting.”
2 Cor. 3:11, “Finally brethren, rejoice, aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace and the God of love and peace will be with you.” I’m feeling more peaceful all the time. When we have our eyes more on the world, our peace attempts to “exit out the door.” But we must focus in on Him and trust in Him and His peace comes.
1Peter 1:2, “According to the foreknowledge of God the father in the sanctification of the spirit for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with His blood may grace, peace be multiplied to you.”
Mark 9:15, “Salt is good but if salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourself and be at peace with one another.”
Luke 6:27, “But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to them who hate you.”
Romans 12:17, “Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all.”
James 3:18, “And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
Numbers 6:25, “The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”
Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born to us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder. In his name, shall be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting father, and the prince of peace.”
Rom. 8:6, “For to set the mind on the flesh is death but to set the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.”
Col. 3:15, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts to which indeed you were called in one body and be thankful.”
Now I want to share three quotes. C.S. Lewis said, “God cannot give us happiness and peace apart from Himself because it’s not there. There is no such thing apart from Him.” We’re not going to find peace in the government. Remember when Billye Brim said no matter who we elect as President, no man can bring peace to the nation. Obviously, we can believe for things to get better. But it’s only revival, a move of God, that will change our nation.
Oswald Chambers said, “I have to get to the point of the absolute and unquestionable relationship that takes everything exactly as it comes from Him. God never guides us at some time way out there in the future but always here and always now. Realize that the Lord is here now and the freedom you receive is immediate.” When is that? Right now. We take it and expect it.
Amy Carmichael said, “Blessed are the single hearted for they shall enjoy much peace. If you refuse to be hurried and pressed, if you stay your soul on God nothing can keep you from the clearness of spirit which is life and peace. In that stillness, you know what His will is.”
Pastor Ray shared a prophecy…
I want to share a short prophecy from brother Jerry Savelle for this year. Then we’ll pray about it.
“Declaring this new year to be a year of “Great Breaking Loose” in Jesus’ name.
“Extraordinary things are taking place in the heavenlies and 2016 will come to be known as THE YEAR OF THE GREAT BREAKING LOOSE.
“More and more notable miracles will break loose in the earth.
“More and more signs and wonders.
“More and more angelic visitations.
“More and more instant healings.
“More and more deliverances from demonic activity.
“And more and more finances will break loose so My people can do more for the kingdom, saith the Lord.
“And during this time of THE GREAT BREAKING LOOSE, the enemy will no longer be able to hold back that which My faithful ones have stood in faith for, not even the things that looked as though they would never come to pass.
“For I will cause them to break loose and to SUDDENLY manifest and to do so in such a way that no one will be able to deny the greatness of your God.
“Yes, 2016 will be a year in which the FAITHFUL shall be rewarded beyond their highest expectations and they shall abound in My blessings as never before.”

Yes, notable miracles will shake us out of the status quo and shake us into the new flow of greater and more

Casting aside very care and anxiety and moving in the place of comfort and peace
Angels—more angelic visitations
Ministering spirits—“Go forth and work on behalf of the Church!”
We send you to the nations, the missionary fields to bring help
More instant healings
Delivered from the past
Deliverances from every demonic activity in Jesus’ name
Finances breaking loose
Overflow
Leaders in the Church are entering in and receiving more
It is loosed in Jesus’ name
It can’t be held back—the attack has been uncovered
The enemy will no longer be able to hold back that which My faithful ones have stood for in faith…not even the things that looked as though they would never come to pass. For we say today, they shall come to pass. For these are the days of a great breaking loose for those things that we have stood for, those things we have declared. They are breaking loose and come to vision. They are lining up with the will and plan and purpose of God. They shall come to pass.
We receive that by faith and take it in Jesus’ name
