Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Ken…
Well, good morning, everyone! Good to have you with us. If you don’t already know, my name is Ken and I’m one of the pastors here on staff at Living Word.
Invoking the name of the Healer… Jesus!
I feel like one of the first things I want to do this morning is I simply want to invoke the name of the healer, Jesus. And for us to just step into agreement and pray for healing this morning. Before we go any further, whether you’re online or in this chapel, what I’m going to instruct you to do as a point of contact or really a point of faith, is if you’re online, if you need healing today in some regard, whether it’s physically or you need ministry in healing and restoration in your soul, your mind, your will, your emotions, some aspect of your life, then I want you to put your hand on your device or your screen or just touch that device that you’re streaming it from here in a moment. If you’re in the chapel, I simply want you to raise your hand to the Lord as a sign like, “Lord, that’s me. I receive,” what we’re going to pray and agree with right now. So let’s do that.
Prayer of agreement…
Father, in Jesus’ name, we thank you that you sent your Word to heal your people. That was Jesus. That is Jesus. Your Word states explicitly in 1st Peter 2:24, “who [speaking of Jesus] himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree that we having died to sins might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed.”
And so, Father, right now I just invoke the name of the healer, Jesus. And I command your healing anointing and presence to flow and to minister to bodies, to hearts, to minds, to situations.
Faith has the operation distinctly of taking…
One of the high forms of prayer is to give God praise and thanks and to perform the act of believing that you receive. And you take it today. Faith takes! Faith doesn’t just go on hoping. Yes, hope is a necessary thing. There is faith, hope, and love. But faith has the operation distinctly of taking. So take it! Be bold about it…
Whether it’s finances,
Whether it’s healing,
Whatever it is.
If it’s in the Word, you are emboldened and you are promised that God will follow through on what He said to you. He is watching over His Word. But He works in concert with us, once again, in collaboration with us.
Called-out ones…
And I’m speaking to a company of people in this chapel and online that are “called-out ones.” That are a people and a generation and a company that God is inviting to step up and to be leveled up into a new place. Remember I said yesterday, God deals with us as His people because He wants to take us higher. He wants to grant us a level up. He wants us to level up…
In our faith,
In our outlook,
In our perspective,
In our praying.
Using our words “on purpose…”
He doesn’t want us to, like the children of Israel, wander around the same mountain for 40 years until a whole generation passes away. His intent is that we would leverage our will and use our words on purpose. Not just any old words, but the word inspired from His Book. Inspired by His Spirit in our hearts that we would say what God is instructing and coaching us to say.
God’s will is His Word…
And you better believe that if you are in the heavenly realm and you were listening to Jesus teach or preach, you would hear faith. You would hear no uncertain terms in His voice. There wouldn’t be no, “Well, if it’s God’s will.” No. Jesus knows what God’s will is. God’s will is His Word. If you are firstly a student of His Book and His Word, then you will know His will. And you have boldness to step out even into chaotic seasons and situations where there are unknowns to your natural senses. And you’ll still be able to say boldly, “This will come to pass. I take my healing. There’s no way around it, Mr. Devil. I am made whole, according to 1st Peter, 2:24.”
So God is wanting to grant us a level up in our intensity and our passion and our boldness to say what He has said in His Word and what He’s saying to our hearts. Don’t get caught up in timetables. No, we’re just walking with God today. We’re leaning into an understanding of who He is through relationship and through His Word.
He’s faithful. You can take that to the bank.
He’s watching over His Word intently right now.
He loves to fulfill His Word in our lives.
But He needs us to agree with Him…
Faith is simply get in agreement with Him. Say what He’s saying. Yes, use your mind and your eyes to see before you cross the road on a busy street! Where the promises of God are concerned, we should be making our way with our faith, making our way with our words. You make your way with your words. You’re either making a way for the enemy to fulfill his plan. Or you’re making a way with your words and your prayers and your worship for God to have His way in your life. When you “say” His Word, when you “pray” His Word, you are co-laboring…
with the heavenly realm,
with angels,
with the Spirit of God,
with the power of God,
with the promise of God,
with all of heaven…
…that what God has promised might fully be realized and come into reality from heaven to earth in your life, in your body, in your finances. I don’t care if it takes a month… a year… 10 years… 20 years. There are some things I’m still walking out and I’ve been walking them out all of my adult life anyway. But I thank God for the progress I’m seeing. And as I look back, I see “Wow, God has granted me a level up there and He granted me a level up there.” I just keep rising and walking in greater freedom. I’m not looking back. I’m looking forward.
It’s an all-eyes-on-Jesus hour…
Remember we said yesterday, one of the keys for 2026 for victory and success and progress is to look at the Light, to look at Jesus. It’s an all-eyes-on-Jesus hour. If we’re going to pray effectively in this hour, then we’ve got to fix our eyes on Him. Fix our eyes on His Word.
Joshua 1:8 says…
“This book of the law, this Word of God, shall not depart out of your mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou mayest be able to observe all that is written therein. For then you will make your way prosperous, and you will have good success.”
One translation says “you will deal wisely, you’ll make good decisions” that will produce new fruit and better fruit and better results in your future. You have a part in that. You have a part…
in making your way prosperous,
in reeling wisely,
in succeeding,
in producing the fruit of God’s plan in your life.
Grace Ryerson Roos’ book, “Prayer Letters”
That starts with His Word in your heart and His Word on your lips… in your mouth in other words. Let me read something. This comes from Grace Ryerson Roos’ book “Prayer Letters.” I believe we have it in our Living Word bookstore. You probably can find it on Amazon. It’s just some reflections that many years ago when Grace, I’m sure she’s in heaven now, but when she prayed, she wrote down what she was inspired and what God dealt with her about in that time of prayer.
And on this particular day, she writes…
“Beloved intercessor or pray-er…” Remember, this is the hour of the intercessor and we’re all called to the Ministry of Prayer. All of us! You can’t delegate it. “Is any afflicted among you? Anyone going through a tough time? The New Testament records, ‘let him or let her pray.’ Of course, we pray for one another. But I guarantee for some of us things will begin to fall into place, change will begin to unfold. God-ordained change, that is… if we will choose to take up the mantle of prayer. Even a ‘here a little, there a little.’ When you’re out on a walk, when you’re in the car, and you got two minutes before meeting, acknowledge Him. Look to Him. Wait on Him. Pray in your heavenly prayer language. It will make an earth shaking, life-transforming difference. I guarantee it. Again, don’t get caught up in, “Well, nothing happened today.” It doesn’t matter. The results or the performance of the promise or the power of God is not your responsibility. Our responsibility is to look to Him.
Grace writes on this particular day…
“Hear the word of the Lord. And the Lord says, ‘comfort you, My people.’ Comfort them. Cheer them. Lift them. The enemy is storming the body of Christ in ways never experienced before with a great discouragement which has entered into many. Tell them again that greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world.”
That’s good right there, right?
“Stand having done all to stand, stand. Refuse to give place to the enemy.”
An assignment in prayer…
For somebody here today, that’s your assignment in prayer. You just need to say “no” to the Devil more. Somebody once taught me, “Ken, ‘no’ is a God word.” You can say no. Boundaries are a God thing. Put a boundary around what the enemy can or cannot do in your life. You shouldn’t be able to do anything but say no to him. Resist him.
The Bible tells us to submit yourself therefore to God and resist the enemy. Just prayer in the spirit alone is resisting the enemy. Repentance is resisting the enemy.
She goes on to say…
“Refuse to give the enemy place. He cannot change My word. My word, the Lord says, remains. And My Word guarantees victory when faith is applied. Yes, tell them to live in My Word.
Eat it.
Drink it.
Meditate in it.
Draw strength and comfort from it.”
Fix your focus on God other than your problems…
One thing I’ve learned through the years about myself is I can read my way almost out of anything— discouraging season, frustration, lack of vision, hopelessness. I can read my way out of it. When I read the Bible, but also when I read other Spirit-inspired books. Because you’re fixing your focus on something other than your problem. You’re fixing it on the promise and on solutions and on Spirit-inspired answers and strategies. It is only the living Word in all the universe, the Word of God that is.
It lives.
It abides.
It remains.
And it fulfills its promises.
I like to say the Word of God is chockfull of heavenly DNA. And DNA, if given the right conditions, reproduces according to its specific genetic code. The Word has a genetic code to produce healing, to produce prosperity, to produce answers, solutions, power change. God-ordained change of all kinds!
The Bible says that you’ve been born again not of corruptible but the incorruptible seed of the Word of God that lives and abides forever. It’s incorruptible, supernaturally encoded seed. When you put it in your heart, when you put it on your lips, it’s receiving the right conditions to reproduce in the earth realm what God intended from the heavenly realm.
Oh, that’s good. Well, I’m glad that you agree because it’s true.
She goes on to say…
“…that He sent His Word and healed them, the Bible says. And there you have it in your hand before your eyes speaking to your need or your situation. Peace to you My people. Peace to you.
She goes on to say…
“Come now. Let me instruct you how you shall survive. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not to your own understanding. Diligently seek the mind of God for plain paths. Strong clothing will be given to you so you can stand the wear and tear of the future.
“No hurt shall befall you or your family. A jealous care shall cover you day and night.” In other words…
He surrounds you.
He’s your barrier.
He’s your strong tower.
He’s your safe haven that you get to run into.
