Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Ken…
Lord, we say rain on us, saturate us, change us, let our hearts be addressed by you, Holy Spirit.
Let our hearts be addressed in the way they need to be addressed or confronted with love and grace.
But truth and light and insight that we so desperately need each and every one of us.
Let your Spirit rain on our church, let your Spirit rain upon our state and our cities and our nation.
Lord, let your glory fall.
Lord, let there come an outflow from heaven to earth.
In this time, even now, from sea to shining sea.
If you’re with us from another country, we stand with you for the rain to fall spiritually speaking in your nation, in your city, in your province, in your particular region.
Remember, we are sent to the earth in this hour by the Father that we would ask for the rain in the time of the latter rain.
The Lord has chosen to work in conjunction or in partnership with His people.
He invites us to leverage our will to bend our will toward His will and to ask for example, the rain.
“Oh, Ken, what’s rain?”
Rain is the outflow of heaven into the earth.
The ground would be softened and prepared… the ground of people’s hearts.
Because things have become and will get even more.
I’ll just use this word “interesting” in this day.
And there is a need for salvation among millions. And even billions of people before the end can come.
Over in Zacharia 10:1, it says, “Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain,” which I just quoted, “the Lord will make flashing clouds. He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone.”
Paul said to pray that you may interpret…
So let me insert this as well. I was reminded of what Apostle Paul taught to the early church, and we have his writings of course, in Corinthians and Romans and some other letters. But one of the things he said was that, when you pray in the spirit, pray that you may interpret. And that’s true in a collective setting when you’re speaking out in a tongue. Interpret that tongue so that it can edify the church. But that includes that admonition our personal lives. And when we’re praying collectively, be conscious when whoever’s up here praying, whether I’m leading or someone else’s leading, be conscious of what’s happening from the leadership. But also what’s happening in your heart. And know that there’s a flow as you begin to pray. In particular, in other tongues. There’s a heavenly flow. There is as the Bible says of the Holy Spirit that His ministry is to reveal, transmit, and disclose or open up.
Prayer unlocks things…
And when you pray in the spirit, you’re unlocking things. When you pray in the spirit, collectively or individually, you are releasing things. You’re setting things in motion. And so be aware of the flow in your heart of the things that come up in your heart, of the images that flash in your mind’s eye, so to speak.
Oftentimes the Lord wants you to mention those things in your known language before the Lord. Interpret them, in other words. That’s often what I’m doing up here is I’ll just begin to pray in the Spirit and I’ll begin to see things. I’ll begin to hear things in my spirit, sense something. And I will pray that out in my understanding. That’s what the Lord wants each and every one of us to do. That’s what He wants you to do individually. That’s how you’re going to make your way forward and overcome the challenges that you face and take that next step in the plan of God and see your whole circumstances change and your life rise and thrive to a whole other level. You make your way forward in prayer… in the Word, of course.
Prayers must be studied up and filled up on the Word of God…
Because that’s your foundation for prayer, but you make your way forward also by collaborative participation in the Father’s plan. He already has the plan. He already knows the way forward for us as a church, for us as individuals, for us as a nation. But He’s sent out a mandate. He sent out an invitation, a call to this generation in particular, to come together and pray, to pray on your own, to pray united together as a family collectively.
And so, Father, we just lift up right now your plans and purposes for this church, for our nation, for the body of Christ globally.
And we do call for that rain, Lord. Even as Zacharia says, in these latter times, we pray may heaven open up and may there be a pouring forth into this generation like has never been recorded or seen or heard of before.
Even as your Word says, Lord, those things which eye has not seen, ear hasn’t heard, neither has entered into the heart of a man or a woman.
Lord, we’re calling for those things today, for our nation, for the body of Christ, for the nations around the world today.
Lord, that there would be a setting in motion now of the great plan of God to wrap up and culminate this age of grace in Jesus’ name.
And so, Lord, may there come a great and high order now and a new cadence or rhythm to things now in your church, in our lives, in America.
Lord, we pray for a new order and a new flow.
Lord, you taught us to pray that it would be on earth as it is in heaven.
So today, Father, we contend and we pray for what is in your heart and on your mind for the body of Christ, for the very nations, yes, even for Israel today.
And we say yes to that, may that come into reality now, may that be transmitted from your realm to our realm.
We pray for change today, right here in America.
Lord, we pray for changes, for a supernatural outflow of change and disruption.
Not enemy disruption, not corruption, but divine disruption.
May it be released in our nation to disrupt the enemy’s plans.
To disrupt the Antichrist spirit operation and the agendas of those who serve the enemy.
Lord, disrupt in our government what must be disrupted now.
Disrupt what’s going wrong in our economy.
Disrupt the church, where she’s headed in a wrong direction and asleep at the wheel and lost her first love.
We pray may there be a breaking up and a disrupting in Jesus’ name.
That there might come mercy and grace and fresh life.
And fresh light to our hearts, to our leaders, to our nation, to Israel today.
We pray, Lord, send rain. Cause your lightnings to flash that the church would wake up, that America would wake up, that those in our very households would wake up and arise at once and go to the place of prayer, to the place of surrender, to the place of repentance.
Let it rain.
Father, that’s our prayer this morning. Open the gates of heaven. Let it rain.
Open the flood gates of heaven. Opening up among all generations.
Floodgates opening up in the schools.
floodgates opening up in churches.
Floodgates opening up in the streets on the boulevards by the seashores in the marketplace in the White House.
Floodgates, floodgates opening up.
Yes, in entertainment.
In athletics.
Let it be open. Let the floodgates be open.
Yes. Open in Jesus’ name, open in the medical community. Open.
Flood gates opening wide.
Yes. First a trickle. Then an increased flow, and then waters to wade in.
And then a flood.
A flood of glory.
A flood of outpouring.
A flood of the mercy of God.
A flood of the love of God.
A flood that sweeps and reshapes and transforms and saves, in Jesus’ name.
Yes Lord, even to the utter most parts of the earth.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray and contend, Lord, let there come a sweeping flood, a comprehensive wave now to reap the harvest and to change what must be changed.
Lord, a deep work must be done. Go deep into our hearts.
Go deep into our churches.
Deep into the souls of your people.
Lord, let the rains fall.
Let the flood waters flow.
Let the hand of the Spirit work now to root out that which limits and that which hinders.
To root out that which is corrupted and that which is less or wood, hay and stubble, as your Word says.
Root it out of our own hearts.
Rooted out of our churches.
Rooted out of our nation, that which has been sown by the enemy, that which has made its way into our thinking. Lord, let it be rooted out.
Let the glory fall and cleanse and transform and prepare.
We’re hungry for you, Lord.
We confess we need you… More of you, Lord.
You’re the answer. You’re the answer for this generation.
We proclaim you’re the answer to our nation’s problems.
You’re the answer to the war in Ukraine.
You’re the answer to the un untold millions and even billions who’ve yet to profess your name.
We speak Jesus over the nations.
You’re the answer to the Middle East conflict with Israel and other nations.
Lord, we speak Jesus over Israel today.
We speak Messiah, Yeshua over Israel today and over that conflict today.
The Lord has nations on His mind…
The Lord just reminded me. He has nations on His mind. Yes, He’s got your little old and my little old problem on His mind and He is dealing with that and He has dealt with that. But He also has nations on His mind. The harvest on His mind, wrapping up of the age on His mind.
Lord, may nations be reaped.
May nations shift and come into the household of faith.
Whole nations of people in a day in Jesus’ name.
Do you agree with that? Nothing is impossible to him or her who will believe.
Lord, we believe you today. We say yes to you today. Yes to the nations.
Send laborers to the nations. Send missionaries. Send resources. Even to this ministry, to Living Word in our building of 50 churches in five years.
Yes, Lord, to the $2 million that Pastor Mac set as a goal here recently that we might plant churches.
That we might build buildings.
That we might set in motion the plan of God in Bolivia, in El Salvador, in Guatemala, in Argentina, in Brazil, in Panama, in Mexico.
