Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Heather…

Well, good morning. Welcome to Morning Prayer. Thanks for joining us.

Prayed…

Oh, eyes on you now, Jesus. Eyes on you.
Supernatural… We go into that supernatural realm now.
Deeper rounds. Deeper rounds of your glory now.
Openings. Openings. Openings of heaven.
Step up higher now. Step up higher now.
Get your eyes off of that situation. Get your eyes off of that argument.
Put your eyes back on Him. Eyes off of insufficiency now.
Eyes on you, Father. Our eyes are on you, Father.
We say, heaven invade, every way, every place.
Our minds, our bodies, our way, our positions. Heaven invade.
This church… Oh yes, we give you free reign now. Free reign to do as you see fit.
Move how you want to move, do what you want to do.
We keep our eyes on you.
Oh yeah, yeah. We see that temptation to get into strife. We see that temptation to get into worry.
But we choose. We choose life today. We choose blessings today.
We choose to control that tongue inside of us.
Oh, there’s many opportunities. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But we keep our eyes on you now, for You are in control.
So, heaven, move, move, move how you want to move, Father.
Let your glory fill this place. Not for our glory, but for your glory, Father.
We make ourselves available now to be carriers of your glory, of your anointing, of your Spirit.
Oh, let us carry you well into every situation we walk into.
We bring your presence, we bring your glory, we bring your anointing, we bring your all sufficiency, we bring your peace, we bring your power into every situation now.
Our families, our schools, our towns, our churches, our countries, our nations…
We make ourselves available to bring your presence into those places, into those situations.
Not our plan, but your plan.
Not our will, but your will be done.
Now a refreshing. A refreshing.
Because if we’re carriers of your presence, that’s going to spill over onto us too and bring refreshing and bring peace and bring joy and bring strength to every area of our lives.
So we declare that now.
Heaven invade. We get out of the way. So you can have your way.
Your ways are higher, higher, higher.
So we make space now for that. We give you free reign.
God, send the winds.

Martha Moments and Mary Moments…

I just had in my heart… obviously, we’re going to pray for the, For His Kingdom conference, but what the Lord put on my heart today is there’s many opportunities for some “Martha Moments” this week. I’ve entered into some of those opportunities, unfortunately, and I’m sure some of you as staff here have too. There’s just a lot to be done.

And He made me think about planning a wedding. When you’re planning a wedding, you get all caught up in the flowers and the dresses and the invitations and the space and the decorations and the… It keeps going. And there’s this place where you have to bring yourself back to like, “Why am I doing this?” Because I love this person. I’m getting ready to unite with this person for the rest of my life.

And it’s such a beautiful moment. But it’s also this moment of extreme stress if we get off the main thing. And we’re focusing on all these details, especially if you’re like me and you’re a detail person. There’s lots of opportunities for that.

And you know, yesterday, I was steaming flags in the atrium and everything has to be just perfect. And Pastor Lynne walked through and she was looking and taking it all in. And, I said something stupid.

I was like, “It’s looking very patriotic in here, isn’t it?”
And she’s like, “Not patriotic. It’s the nations.”
I said, “Yes. Are you excited?”
And she said, “I’ve only been praying for this for 40 years.”

And it just made me remember how important this is and to not get caught up in the busyness of it, but also to remember why we’re doing this. It’s for the nations, right? Because those nations represent people that are coming into the kingdom. And in those church plants everywhere we’ve planted, they are spreading that gospel in that area. In really rough, rough places of the world.

And we’re here in Brooklyn Park and we’re doing our thing right? But this is a moment for us to connect with them, not just to see them, to meet them, to get to know them this week, which I’m excited about, but to connect in the spirit and to pick up that burden of that prayer to pray for those nations, to pray for those churches, to pray for those pastors.

So my encouragement to us as a staff this morning and for those of you in the congregation agree with us as that we choose the better thing this week. We choose not to get into the Martha Moments and “Are the flags all steamed perfectly…” That’s important and it’ll get done. But that Mary Moment of choosing to sit at His feet and…

What do you want to do at this conference, Father?
What do you want to do through me?
What do you want to do through these pastors?
How do you want to bless them?
How do you want to bless the people and what they’re hearing?
