Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Folu…
Good morning, everyone. My name is Pastor Folu, one of the pastors here. Ms. Kay has something to share with us.
Ms. Kay…
This is very short. I almost didn’t come up because it’s so short. But I believe there’s someone here that the Lord is saying, “You need to overcome. That this has been plaguing you for a long time and you need to overcome. You need to overcome.”
I think it was King Josiah, that when the prophet came to him and said, “I’m going to take your sons and daughters. I’m going to put everybody into slavery.” All those things, a terrible, terrible prophecy. And his response was “Good. At least it’s not in my lifetime. It’s only going to affect my children.”
And there are some things that God has placed in our lives so that we overcome it. So that the people in our families and in our influence don’t have to overcome it. It is ours to overcome, whatever that looks like. We all know the things we deal with. That’s it.
Pastor Folu…
Thank you. It takes great courage to do what our sister just did. Because many times the Spirit of God has been speaking through us, but it takes courage to give the word. So, thank you. And whoever that is for either online or here, thank you for receiving it.
Prophetic word through Pastor Mac…
I want us to look at a word. It’s going to come up on your screen here. This was given 37 years ago. I’ve been meditating and reading this for the past three months. The Lord gave it to our senior pastor, Pastor Mac. And I just want us to look at it together.
“And there will be many times, saith the Lord, for you as a body to look to the left or to look to the right and to remove your focus from the high call, which I’ve given unto you. And it’ll come in many ways, a variety of ways, in subtle ways. You’ve not known corporately the meaning of warfare really. Because now you’re moving into indeed the principle stronghold over the city. And it’s more important now than ever that you maintain your focus on the call that I’ve given you, saith the Lord. Not to be puffed up, not to be proud that I’ve delivered this call to your church, for I’ve delivered it to several hundred churches before you. And none of them have fulfilled that call because the warfare is great and the opportunities are many to turn to the right or to turn to the left. So in the days I have prepared for what is to come and know that if you’ll keep your focus straight and true, this city shall bow its knee to the name of Jesus. This city shall bow its name to the Lord Jesus.”
Pastor Folu comments…
Can we just imagine that right now. This city bowing its knee? Everyone. There’s a reason why there’s a great contest for this place. There’s a mighty work that the Lord wants to do in this place… and in this church and through this church. And who is Living Word, after all? It’s you. It’s me. Hallelujah.
Prayer point number one…
It’s a personal high calling. We are here by divine appointment.
Why don’t we just take a few minutes and you pray for yourself and I pray for myself in light of this word.
Pray for a fresh, undeniable revelation of God’s specific call on your individual lives at this time.
Philippians 3:14 says, “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
We are here by divine appointment.
God almighty selected you, chose you and I to be here right now at this time.
Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I was formed, God knew me. Before I was born, He sanctified me and ordained me.”
You and I, we’ve been ordained for such a time as this.
This is a powerful word. It’s an exciting word. But it’s time that we begin to see more and more of the fulfillment of that word. Hallelujah.
Thank you for praying, saints, for a fresh, undeniable revelation of God’s specific call for you, for me.
What are your gifts?
What are your talents that God almighty has deposited into you?
It’s time for those gifts to come forth more and more. Hallelujah. There’s all kinds of gifts in this room, all kinds of gifts online, right here, right now.
It’s time. It’s time. It’s time.
Heaven places a demand on those gifts that they come forth like never before.
Prayer point number two…
Corporate positioning and authority. We boldly declare that our assembly is strategically positioned for these last days in Jesus’ name.
He has saved us and called us with a holy calling. Hallelujah. Corporately now. Corporately.
Living Word, all of our different campuses. Hallelujah.
We pray for a release of boldness to walk in the holy calling and the purpose that God has assigned for this body.
Release of boldness.
Release of boldness.
Release of boldness to walk in the holy calling and the purpose that God has assigned for this body.
Holy boldness.
The enemy is bold about his campaign.
It’s time. It’s time. It’s time for the body of Christ all over the world at Living Word to be bold like never before in proclaiming this wonderful Gospel everywhere we go, as the Spirit of God leads us, boldness, to open our mouth.
First John 4:4 says “Greater is He that is in me than any principality over this city.” Yes. Yes. The Greater One lives on the inside of us.
See yourself acting boldly.
See yourself acting boldly more and more.
See yourself with the boldness of God.
Holy boldness!
We come against timidity. Oh, no, no, no. We come against timidity. The Bible says we open our mouths boldly. Thank you, Lord.
Boldness with tact.
Boldness with the wisdom of God.
Boldness with the timing of God.
It’s time for Living Word, for us to be bolder still.
Prayer Point number three…
The refusal to draw back. Father, help us not to draw back.
We pray for a spirit of perseverance, refusing to turn to the right or turn to the left.
We pray against spiritual complacency.
Start with me, Oh God.
Help us Lord. We refuse to turn to the right or turn to the left.
Hebrews 10:38, 39 says, “But we’re not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe.”
We pray for the spirit of perseverance.
Saints, this is a marathon. We persevere. The spirit of perseverance is on us like never before.
Thank you, Spirit of God, for helping us, helping the young ones to persevere.
Oh, thank you, Lord, that we are the change agents for today.
Lord, we acknowledge the weight of divine selection.
What a privilege to be selected by heaven, to accomplish some wonderful things in this last days.
Prayer point number four…
Oh Lord, we pray for humility and diligence required to finish the race.
Help us to be humble.
People like Jesus… help us not to be puffed up.
Help us not to think “I’ve arrived.”
Help us to work humbly with our God.
The Bible says in Proverbs 4 to keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it springs forth the issues of life.
Lord, we thank you for humility and diligence required to finish this race.
Lord, we pray specifically against pride. We come against pride.
Lord, this has cost so many people to fall over the years.
We pray for vigilance… vigilance in maintaining our focus on Jesus.
